Well let’s start with the good. The restaurant was very nice inside. They have free margaritas but they are very small and contain very little liquor. I would recommend bring your own beer or drink of choice as they do not have a license to sell. The white queso was good, but it was not $8 for a small bowl good. Now on to the bad. The service was horrible. I sat at my table many times waiting way too long on the "waitress" to bring us refills, chips, etc. They were not very busy at all as there was only one other table she was waiting on. There was a guy who worked there named Larry who was very helpful when he noticed we were getting very slow service. The food was as bad as the service. My wife and I both had enchiladas and they tasted like the sauce came out of a can. The chicken was way over seasoned and the whole plate just tasted like the chef didnt even know what authentic Mexican food should taste like. I told the waitress that I did not like it and all she said was “OK”. She did not even ask why or show any concern. Anyway let’s just say I would have rather saved the $40 and went to Rio Lerma where we could have eaten way better food at a way better price. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My wife and I ate here because our daughter said the sweet tea was good - as was the food. We entered and were immediately greeted by Larry (you wont meet anyone more friendly than Larry!). Anyway, the tea WAS good, as were the shrimp nachos I ordered. My wife liked her enchiladas, and she especially liked the charro beans. The waitress was friendly and she never let our tea glasses get below half empty. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Well be back.

We originally wanted to go to the Mexican place across the street but they were closed. So we saw this place and were pleasantly surprised. Our family loves Mexican food and we can honestly say this is some of the most authentic Mexican food we have ever had. The street tacos and tamales were outstanding. The salsa had just the right spices.

Not So Fancy Queen
Best place for breakfast or brunch on the weekend. They do a buffet until 2 pm, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, potatoes, sausage, gravy, made to order omelettes, nopales, chicharron, unlimited mimosas etc. and you can order fresh pancakes, bacon, french toast, etc. at no extra charge if youre having the buffet.

The queso, is just like the kind you get at 7-11. There tex-mex is the worst in town. Just be warned, any Mexican restaurant that has Catfish and chicken fried steak on the menu isnt going for a great Mexican food venue.

Food wasnt good had to wait for my Nachos to be recooked while my wife ate her food 20 minutes later got them it wasnt even busy! Nachos 20 min kind of strange and the meat tasted kind of funny.

So this Mexican restaurant has an awesome dish that I adore and that no one in the area seems to make. Its The Laredo which is a pork guiso in a red ancho sauce. Sooo good! Its a must try.
