The BIG 0 (ZERO) star rating... This is the worst so-called seafood restaurant I have had the displeasure of experiencing! I ordered the "blackened" grouper and it was horrible. It took me at least 30 minutes to pick through to find the white meat which was maybe a only a third of it. The rest was so fishy tasting. Either old or on the verge of going bad. Probably has been in the freezer for years! I made the mistake of leaving the filet on top of the rice so therefore it ruined the rice. The grilled corn on the cob was acceptable. The potatoes were average. In fact, the best part of the meal was the sweet bread with the honey butter. I remember telling my friends how empty the place was - especially at 6:00 PM on a Saturday evening (officially the 1st day of summer) here in the Metroplex. I should have listened to that little voice in my head! Oh, and the service was despicable. A party of 12 next to us left before we ordered and only half of their food was eaten. Another big hint! This place is a total bummer! STAY AWAY!!!

Good food and a laid-back atmosphere. My family has been coming here for the last 10 years, and really enjoy the food and the memories weve made. The food offers a good taste of Florida, with seafood and items such as alligator and delicious key lime pie, and the restaurant offers Florida decor and a fantastic views of adjacent Lake Ray Hubbard. The screened porch is a nice amenity, and this, with the lake outside, gives a feeling of Florida. As someone who has eaten at real coastal Florida restaurants, I can say that this is probably the closest thing to those that youll find in the Metroplex. The service is good; its not the fastest, but in my mind thats a good thing if you want a relaxed and leisurely meal. And our waitress today was very good about checking on our meal frequently for our satisfaction. All in all, I highly recommend!

It started with the so-called hostess, Horrible! Then, the waitress was worse, we ordered the Cobb salad and told her we were going to share it and that we wanted to share it as an appetizer. We told her that we also wanted to share our dinner because its quite large. I had to ask her for the salad after 15 minutes. She brought the whole dinner, checked on us one time,after that, forget about it. No refills whatsoever, I had to get up and get my own refill, no sorry, Ill get that for you, Nothing! Needless to say, well never ever go back. We thought because we had a great experience in Destin, we would try this one out, not so much!

Came here today to bring my mother for mothers day, a day earlier to eat somewhere different...the experience was terrible...we were at the table for an hour and half before we even ordered...very slow service, it took appetizers forever to come out!!!! Also the waitress was slow & I had to get manager to help....service was still slow, took another hour to get food. Manager was pissed because we said that we didnt want the food anymore; would you???? This not only was embarrassing but very upsetting. First and last time here....will not return!!!!! I forgot to ad...they were not busy!

I went to this restaurant about a year ago and swore never to return. The food was wrong and the server was grumpy, lazy, and mostly knowhere to be found . It was so bad I almost walked out without paying. This time around was out of curiosity to see if it had gotten better. I will just say that Lisa was the biggest improvement. Food was spot on, my tea was never close to empty, and she is an amazingly up beat personable waitress who was a joy to speak to.

We decided to eat here to celebrate our 10th year anniversary. First time eating here and we liked the food. My 5 kids like fish and they ate very well. Great service. Never ran out of drinks, got asked if we needed anything throughtout the whole time we were three. We got the friday special endless fish and chips, for the kids and some popcorn shrimp. My husband and I got the Portofino that had tilapia, some shrimp and rice. It was delicious.

We went last night, November 25th 2016. The food was terrible. We had steaks with mashed potatoes, both had NO TASTE. My husband had a Cajun fish dinner he said was terrible, tasted old. We went last year and the food was great and so was the service. Im thinking they have new management, I dont know but something is terribly wrong there now. We had a party of 8. Also they dont serve the bread anymore.

First time visiting. Had a party of 6 from out of town on a Saturday.We asked for a quiet table being a family reunion 30 years in the making. The manager volunteered the private room. The food was fresh and priced right. Its waaay above the chain (led robster) establishments. We had a great experience and our server went out of her way to keep up for the three hour visit. Will return again.

Very very bad service! Took them 15 min for a server to come to the table! Not even a manager to talk to! we had to ask for a new server!! Honestly my family felt racial profile.. maybe because we were the only latin folks in the restaurant. Very disappointing experience! If you want to have a bad experience please go ahead and eat there! DO NOT GO THERE!!

Today was out first & last time here. Went for lunch & was the 2nd customer in the dining room.. My fried fish was soggy & tasted microwaved, fries were cold, my husbands sirloin was the size of the palm of my hand & didnt have any taste to it until he put A1 on it. My meal came with A sample size Coke slaw. I only gave one star because I had to.

I loved everything about this place. The nice waitress the scenery looking across the lake. The food was awesome I had the tilapia with shrimp . The appetizer was the stuffed mushroom venison. I walked along the lake and out on the pier. The palm trees and the sand made it seem I was away on a little Island. I loved it and would recommend it 100%

Have been there 10 times. But on Sunday August 14,2016 I was greeted with a 30% full restaurant and 20 people waiting to be seated. The host told me that it would be a 30 minute wait! I am looking at more empty tables than full for sure. I was told the cook was way behind on the cooking. We a party of 7 walked out.

Kids love the decorations and layout, the 11,000 gallon salt water tank is amazing // Food was fantastic and staff was very nice, dont miss this hidden gem inside bass pro shop, portions were very good compared to price, we left with to go boxes completely stuffed, a must visit...

Pretty terrible place. I expected much more from the Bass Pro Shops, but the beer was massively overpriced, the alligator was horrible, and the bartender didnt have any kind of personality until I tipped (I work in the industry, so I tip good regardless). Never coming back.

This place is pretty good. Service is pleasant. We love the alligator. Everything we ever tried was great until we tried the steak. It tasted like liver. Blah. They of course took it off. My husband recommends the burger and I loved the rotisserie chicken.
