PLEASE READ, save your self and family money and possibly thier health. I have never been treated so poorly in my life at a place of business. The floors through out was filthy. Food was cold and or under cooked. Fries and rolls hard as a rock. I can honestly say nothing was up to par. We never recieved one single refill. We was a party of 6 adults and 3 children . needless to say we was all thirsty. I wish I could stop there, I unfortunately can not. Our plates left to stack up the whole visit. We over heard our waitress Christy say "im not serving my tables." It only gets worse from there. My wife asked to speak to the manager. Who by the way was on the grill and not managing. Comes to the table and. Treated my wife with total disrespect. Michelle, my wife , then asked for a refund. The manager called the waitress over to our table they then start teaming up on michelle. Christy, the waitress started yelling at michelle saying you better get B***h out of here before something bad happens RIGHT in front of my 2, 3 and 8 year old. Let me remind you we are not at hooters but golden coral. A " family restaurant. The manager stood there and let her talk this way to us, how she is stil employed us beyond me. The waitress then starts screaming out loud bring it on lets go. Is this JERRY Spriner. She then yells keep on eating and see if you dont get sick. After all this we was aked to leave. This place is a compleate joke. And i am going to the highest authority i can. Please avoid this place.

We will not be returning, ever. My husband and I have been big fans of Golden Corral since childhood and were excited to try the one by our new home. Complete disappointment. The price for two people for dinner with 1 drink and 1 water and it cost us $30. First red flag. The cashier laughed at us when my husband asked if they offered a military discount. Insulting. My first plate included the Bourbon Street Chicken, the flavor was good but it was cold. Second red flag. The cook behind the line gave my husband a substantial amount of attitude when he asked for a medium-rare steak after she cut the one on the grill and it was over well done, the attitude continued when he went back to see if it was done. Third flag. We couldnt even eat the steak he finally did get because it tasted terrible. Everywhere I looked I saw employees huddled together chatting, meanwhile, we only saw our server twice and there were only 4 other tables there the entire time we were there, and my husband had to go and get his own refill. I also witnessed an employee cutting veggies with her bare hands and placing it on top of the veggies already on the bar, so there is no telling how long the stuff on the bottom has been in that container. The food tasted like low-grade, middle school cafeteria food. They even managed to make plain corn taste awful. The mashed potatoes and rolls were the only thing worth eating, definitely not worth $30.

They would not let me crack my bible! I just wanted to reserve a party to tell some story and preach a little bit! Everyone needs to hear the good news, and what better way than to hear it whilst you grub up? But not...why not? Im a man who believes in tecting his propty, and dont you forget, dont you forget, Im also tecting this here country! I even keep this GC from being blown up, and the thanks I get is, "no, you cant have a bible/war story party here." I guess I will not be giving them much more patronage.....no sir, not much at all! I was tortured until I screamed blood in a foreign land, all to come back to this doormat treatment....and at a place that serves "homey, comfort" food! Think about that one! Not to mention, the dessert lady was a handful! On a much happier note, I was pleased and tickled by the pizza and cotton candy - I had a lot of it. The management was nice enough to lead me to the chocolaty fountain, and I dabbled in it for a mite. I assume Ive earned the right to put my finger in it without using a marshmallow on a stick? Or no?!

My friend and I went here and had a pretty bad experience. Almost all the food they had was cold and inedible. They were out of several things I actually wanted to eat like bread and various pastas. Their broccoli was uncooked and several things were low quality like their mac and cheese and the refried beans. My friend also asked for tea and it took them until we were ready to leave to actually bring him any. In total it was around $28 for two people and for the service and quality, that was extremely overpriced. I could get much better food at just about any other restaurant in Denton. Will not be going there again.

Management is a mess! I have been to really good Golden Corrals, so I know the quality of this location does not meet company standards. It is possible that the company as a whole has just lost their direction. Tried to use the online survey so I dont publicly embarrass a business but it is not working. So I tried to call the survey line but it is not working either. So this tells me the problems start at the top. Very poor dining experience! Cold food, poorly stocked buffet, overcooked and under cooked in almost every dish on Valentines day with my family. Will be a very long time before we try again.

The a/c was out in the restaurant and I wish I would have been told it was so bad I could barely eat and then lost all I ate. I had informed the manager about the heat and he said the a/c had been out for two weeks and that they let corporate know. It still isnt fixed. I am so disappointed that at the peak of heat they are careless about fixing the a/c. I lost what I ate, and didnt even get my banana pudding I always get. So sad. My husband was sweating too and lost his appetite. Then he had to worry about his wife who spent the last moments losing the very little she ate.

Id been there once, and wasnt impressed. I thought Id get there first thing today so I could "get it while its hot". Wrong guess. I took a polish sausage that had been cut down the middle and grilled, but it looked a little anemic. I found out why: it was cold. Instead of showing up early and cooking the stuff up hot, they obviously have it prepared in advance, refrigerated, and then if youre lucky, the warming tray heats it up gradually, but not if you show up first thing. Bacon: cold. Etc. Get a better breakfast almost anywhere else.

Upside this was our waitresss 1st day (Dawn) she was wonderful. Downside saw tv advertisement for Ranchers ribeye & butterfly shrimp special. The shrimp was burnt & the grill only had had 3 steaks to offer at 6pm, decided to try 1 it was dried up. Went back later, this 1 was so tough it couldnt be cut. The worst part the steaks werent ribeyes they were sirloin steaks. GC shouldnt advertise ribeyes & serve sirloin. My husband & I were very disappointed over a $30 meal & water for our drinks.
