I dont like this place at all. Its just another Millenial fusin fare restaurant cooked up in the back of some late twentysomethings mids one night to be a source of moneymaking. If you want out of this world Korean food stop at Tofu Village in Houston Tx. There i could get a sizzling stone pot full of flavorful seafood bbbop AND a lady with a cart comes by and you get to pick up to 5 side dishes to go with your already huge bowl of bbbop (yellow fish, kimchi, spicy tofu, bean sprouts, stir fry bok choy or a raw egg to crack over your suop or hot pot.) Here the bbbop is dry with no flavor, and looks like I could have thrown it together myself at home; there is no chef quality regarding the cooking other than things are cooked fresh. Also the wings are too expensive (4 half pieces of wings for $5 -- thats more expensive than wing stop, and there is nothing remarkable about the flavor. I got the soy ginger.) Dumb rap music playing in the background in a boutique style setting.....no thank you, Id rather be at Roll N Go or the Japanese restaurant down the stret for my $12 meal!

If youre looking for traditional Korean food than this is not the place. Ive had better Korean fusion food, but its not bad. Some of the food mixed into the bimbibop were mediocre at best. For example the Galbi mixed into one of their bowls was very bland. To be fair I am basing this on how I make Korean Galbig, which is cut as ribs rather than small parts. Overall I think 2 1/2 or 3 Stars is a fair assessment. Its not bad, but as someone who has been cooking Asian foods ranging from korean food to Indian and Nepalese food I felt that the fusion could have been done better. Some foods like Galbi has already been used in Hawaiian cuisines for years. Its a good restaurant but not great. Some items could use improvements.

Im a huge fan of the Korean food trucks, especially the Mexican-Korean fusion ones, so this place is right up my alley. GET THE SPICY PORK TACOS! Flavor for days, and I love the Seoul on Fire sauce. They will also accommodate if you dont want it spicy; just ask. You really cant go wrong here: Ive had just about everything on the menu, and my favorite (after the pork Klassic Takos) is probably the 1-Alarm Bop. And, as with most Korean places, I highly recommend choosing pork as your protein. Theres WAY more flavor in the pork than in the other meats (beef 2nd, chicken last). Why are you still reading? Get your butt over to BBBop and see what Im talking about. Signed, Your Average White Guy Foodie

On a whim, TheBetterHalf® and I decided to venture int BB Bop one evening for dinner. It was well worth stopping in. The ordering process takes a bit of thought - pick one from column a; one from column b; three from column c; etc. The staff, however, was extremely patient even despite the fact that we had arrived just minutes before closing time. What restaurants on Greenville close at 9 p.m. anyway? The food was delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. Plus, you can add your own sauces at the end. I had beef and some spicy rice, while TheBetterHalf tried the pork. We basically inhaled everything that was served. Im sure well be back.

Finally tried this little hole in the wall. While the menu is small, what I tried was delicious and unique. I tried the kimchi fries with steam, which were amazing! I also tried their Korean fried chicken. Im not big into meat on the bone, so for me it was just okay. But I could see if you really liked chicken wings and thighs on the bone, then you would like these. The breading was super crunchy. They have 7 homemade sauces, all of which were different and tasty, especially the yellow curry. Great place, will definitely be back to try their tacos and Korean rice bowls!

This place has gone down hill. Service used to be great and you would receive your food promptly. Tonight they messed up my order Im assuming 2-3 times. One of the guys in the kitchen offered me something for free since my wait there for take-out lasted over 20 minutes. The cashiers did not get the message. When they turned around and saw me still waiting there they asked if I needed anything. I explained I was offered something to make up for their mess up. He asked "why?" with this attitude as if my wait was my fault. I was out the door and probably wont be back.

Korean take on a hibachi fried rice and a meat. They serve 3 ounces of meat on top of 3 cups of rice sprinkled with a few teaspoons of the the veggie toppings. Raise prices 15% and dont short on the meat and vegetables, then this would be a great Korean Style quick bite that offers a wide variety of dishes as advertised. Youll get the same thing at a $5.99 hibachi joint as youre going to get here. If you want Korean or something resembling Korean go somewhere else.

Delicious Asian inspired dishes! The coconut curry dish is amazing (comes with tofu that I switch to chicken). Staff is always friendly, helpful, and have no problems accommodating substitutions. Great for vegetarians and meat-eaters with lots of food choices. They have a table with lots of sauce choices from soy sauce to numerous flavors of spicy sauces. This upper Greenville location has a frequent reward program that the one on lower Greenville doesnt have.

Service was friendly and welcoming from the second we stepped in. It was post lunch rush so the place was relatively empty and calm. I had the make your on bop with extra chicken on salad greens. Overall, the dish was okay. To make it better, Id liked more greens given that I chose the salad over the heavier carbs. Id had also liked a choice of the sauce that my dish was sauteed in (if there were options, I wasnt aware of them).

MEH. I ordered the coconut curry dish and it was basically soupy, very little veggies, and everything was floating in the sauce. The flavor was good but the pictures showed a more robust presence of tofu, rice and veggies. . Also found a wrapper of some sort in the food, a sliver of a foolish looking thing. Overall not impressed and will probably never return.

If youre looking for traditional dishes, I dont recommend this place. But for a fresh, great tasting meal using locally sourced ingredients, this is definitely worth your time. The staff are super friendly, and the vibe is a modern upbeat cafe making for a great location to catch up with old friends (or dine and dash if youre really in a hurry).

Food had good flavor and I liked the sauce options. My order was crazy expensive for the portion size, and it was made incorrectly and remade incorrectly. They also employed curious cleaning methods as the table directly near me was getting blasted with strong cleaner while I was trying to eat. I probably wont be back to give a second chance.

I worked nearby the Farmers Branch location so I was very surprised when I saw one in my own backyard! I love the Bahn Mi (listed as the Asian Sandwich at this location) its cool and refreshing yet spicy at the same time. Try the Hibiscus Tea Limeade too, its pretty tasty, (but sometimes they overdo it and you can tell its powder based.)
