I love this place and I never wrote a review before. I will write one based on my recent visit to this restaurant. They have Malaysian/Singapore/Chinese menu items. The menu is vast/extensive. So many to choose from. It really helps that there are pictures of the menu items on the menu, so you have an idea of what the food looks like. I usually order Seafood Laksa(seafood noodle soup in a coconut curry based broth, absolutely delicious! I also ordered Basil fried rice with Tofu to go and i had it the next night and it was very tasty!). Its supposed to be little spicy, but if you would like more kick, you can add some hot sauce(there is a condiment station set up along with utensils/cups right next to the fountain drink machine)and chili peppers to spice up your food. They have so many different kind of hot sauce to choose from. You order at the front/pay for the food and they will give you the # thing(cantt think of the name right now)on the table and they will bring your food. I always had a good experience here as far as food/service are concerned. No complaints! I highly recommend this place if you want to experience something different/delicious.

Bad service. No receipt and Roti Canai not served long time after double charges on Roti Canai. For lunch, we ordered Roti Canai , N13 noodle and another noodle. Cashier said if paid in cash, 5% discount. I paid 19.95 but the cashier did not give me receipt. Waited for long time, no Roti Canai served. Talked to the cashier, he said I only ordered two noodles. So I paid another charge for Roti Canai. But after another 15-20 minutes, Roti Canai was not served either. Talked to cashier again, he insisted Roti Canai was served. But it was not, after checking the table, they admitted the Roti Canai was not served. They served a Roti Canai later. I realized that they charged Roti Canai with the two noodles first time ( in their system, two noodles and Roti Canai total was 21. With 5% discount it was 19.95). Had to talk to them for quite long, they acknowledged that I paid 19.95 and second time 3 + dollars , which had double charges on Roti Canai. Please remember to ask for receipt if they did not give to you.

Came here for dinner with my friends. We ordered a large variet of dishes and here are my thoughts: Pros: - Cheap food for large portions. This is Family size portion, not Single order - Well flavored, especially Indonesian dishes. Bakuteh, lamb noodle, Thai red curry with duck are all good. Cons: - Service was abysmal. We paid for food even before getting the food. If this was food served over the counter, sure, but it wasnt. The waitress we had did not even bother to walk to the end of the table to lay down the dishes - she just handed it to guests and expect us to set tables ourselves. I figure take-away would be the best way to enoy food without experiencing the service.

Very authentic Malaysian / Asian style food. Proprietor actually goes to Malaysia to source ingredients every quarter. Amazing he managed to train the cooks to get the taste right! Like the no frills semi-serve, with lots of choices for sauces. Some dishes are actually better than home as they are more generous with the portion and ingredients. Recommend typical street (hawker) food: Nasi Lemak, Char Keu Teow (dry fried rice noodles) with a twist - oysters! Hokkien noodles - I cant believe to find this dish in Texas! Wat Dan Hor (Stewed flat rice noodles). Drink Teh Tarik (pulled milk tea). Very easy going bistro, as it should be.

Great choice for Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. I was quite happy with the Pendang Beef, Tofu vegetables with Black Bean Sauce, and Roti Cadai. There are literally 50+ options for main entrees, so if you were to visit this restaurant twice a month, it would still take over a year to even partially grasp the delicious food this restaurant has to offer. Feel free to read my other reviews for other great restaurants in the area

Its like the only halal type of its restaurants around here, so Im a fan. The Nee and Mee Goreng rice/noodle dishes are always what I get. Its cheap and filling if youre on the run in the area. I still need to find another good dish to add some more protein the the Nee/Mee Goreng, so Ill be back to look for those.

The food was interesting. I ordered the mango chicken, which was ok, but not more special than Trader Joes mandarin orange chicken. Perhaps I should have gone with a rice or noodle dish instead. Ill have to go back and give Secret Recipe another try, it really seems more promising than that.

Nice place for a spicy taste. I particularly love their Samba fry rice. The price tag is not great but worth it. Instead of lunch special, one can order a regular dish that came for a bigger appetite.

Absolutely amazing Singaporean and Asian food. This is the only place I have found that does roti prata/canai right (Malay, not Indian). Authentic chicken rice and hawker foods at a good price.
