After leaving a packed Mama Fus because we didnt want to wait, my wife and I decided to give Vero a try. Usually we avoid Italian restaurants as they are pricey and bland. To our surprise Vero is the Italian food weve been searching for. I ordered the Penné Al Arrabiata. This is by far the best Italian dish Ive had in Houston. The sauce was savory, well distributed over the pasta with just a touch of spice! My lord I could eat that sauce over cereal for breakfast...it was just that good. The garlic bread...yes a textural playground for your mouth. From looks alone you would think this garlic bread was going to be too soft and terrible....and youd be wrong. Its slightly crunchy, with a pleasantly chewy center and its Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese crumbles into your bite....heavenly. My wife ordered the meat pizza....and suffice it to say its better than any pizza Ive had in Houston. Lovely experience from a pleasant restaurant. Give them a try.

For the price, this is pretty great Italian food. We stopped in for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is set up similar to a Panera type establishment, where you place your order at the counter, you get a table number and then they will bring it out to you. The portions were quite large and two people could share one entree for lunch. We purchased a side of garlic bread, but didnt even need to because each entree does come with one already. The staff was quite friendly at this location.

What can you say, John the owner runs a fantastic restaurant. You can tell he really cares and has a passion for making Vero a success, and that is important in this town where there are a dozen places to eat within a block of each other, which in my opinion most shouldnt even be open and serve food. The service is spot on and the food quality is excellent each and every time. I would highly recommend stopping in and seeing for yourself! Keep up the good work Vero! Love this place!!!! This place is great. Service was quick and food tasted great as well. We got greeted in the way in and made us feel welcome. Staff was friendly. People say you get what you pay for, but this place is pretty affordable and still good quality. Move over Fazolis here is the filler to that long void. Since Fazolis closed on highway 6 I never wanted to make the drive to Katy for the last open one. Well, now I got VERO and Im loving it. Def coming back and trying something else next time.

This is my first time going here. I pass by it when i go to work and have wondered about it for a while. So i just decided to see how it is and i was not disappointed. I ordered a fettuccine alfredo pasta with a side of breadsticks. Wait time was decent and the staff were friendly and courteous. The dish and the breadsticks were delicious. Unfortunately, i got full 2/3rds into my dish; however, i took the rest home so that i can have something good to eat after work.

Jon truly leads the cypress area in customer service. He learns names and takes the time to remember who you are. He stands with his employees, I have seen him sweeping, cooking, cleaning, taking food to the tables. A true leader in the small business world. To top off the excellent customer service, the food is awesome and at a good price. I have tried almost everything they offer and have never been disappointed.

Always love eating here! Ingredients are fresh, meals are always hot, and they are brought to the table quickly. Service is exceptional! Plus, I love the ice for the drinks :) Always recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants great Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. We get the chicken parm and the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. The breadsticks are delicious, too.

Great excellent food and a friendly staff. Owner of the company really cares about his staff and his customers. You will see him walking around the restaurant asking his guests how the food was and if they need anything. The food is great and at a great price. the marinara sauce used on the pizza and garlic bread is the best. Salads are also good.

We visited for the first time today and this place was a great treat! We will have to return to try more of the menu. Today we enjoyed baked ziti, fresh meatballs, chicken Alfredo, chicken parmesan, and homemade garlic bread. Every dish was great. Thank you for the great service and delicious food Vero.

My family and I stopped eating at Italian restaurants because it was expensive and didnt taste as good for how much it was! Vero Italian Kitchen changed all that! Great food at a great price. I have yet to try everything on the menu but the few items we have tried have been more than satisfying.

Best pizza in Houston. The rest of the menu is great as well. You have to try the baked ziti with meat sauce. Its the only thing my wife orders any more, its so good. The owner goes out of his way to greet and chat with customers. Really cant say enough good things about this place.

Pizza is great but curbside service for to go orders was better. I have a 1 and a 4 year old and was told just call when I arrive so that they can come get my payment and bring my food. Customer Service is lost on most businesses but not here.

This was a new and vibrant Italian restaurant with modern decor, very friendly staff and delicious food. For the prices, the portions were generous and made fresh in the easy to look into kitchen. Definitely will be back again for more.
