This is the place you have been looking for! Relaxed, not too many of the younger students. A lot of regulars (of all ages) call this place home. Plenty of flat screens with many of the sports packages, including NFL! Great beer garden out back. In addition to specials and happy hour, they have... HAPPY MINUTES! 3-3:15pm EVERY DAY! , a selection of the cheaper beers are $1 for a 10 oz glass. One at a time, limit 3. Lonestar, Shiner bock, Dos Equis, Blue Moon, and a few others.

The tiny Blond bartender made fun of my accent and then decided to short me money after ordering a beer.After being questioned about it she called over the goons on her microphone.I proved her having stolen and the owner reimbursed me. I will never go there again ,besides it rained to.ight and the floors werr soaked and smelled of dead animals

I had an item I left at the bar and they held it for me, but when I went back to get it they turned me away and told me to come back later. When I came back the next day my stuff was gone and the owner did nothing about it. Cool patio though with good games and good draft selection.

The drink specials are a good deal if you hit it at the right time. But what sets The Local apart from the others is the Effing Goode Burger trailer in the back patio. Great burgers served fresh to order, Id say the second best burger after Hop Doddy. And lots of vegan options!

Came here with some friends at 1am, and things were very relaxed. The music wasnt blasting, and they had some decent drink specials for a Saturday night. Out back, they have lots of seating along with some small hammocks that were nice lounging in.

This is an awesome Broncos bar in Austin!! Go Broncos! They dont have a kitchen so youre allowed to bring in outside food. The bar gets pretty full for the games so get there a bit early. There is plenty of seating outside with TVs and such too!

Even though the Local feels like its halfway to Cedar Park from the UT campus, its hands down my favorite bar on the Drag. Great ambiance. Board games. Drunken-frat-boy-games. Pool. And... drink specials! Just go after 7 so you can get em.

A welcoming atmosphere where regulars welcome newcomers. Long time regulars have their own mugs on the wall, so anyone with a mug has been there a lot. Indoor seating with air conditioning, garden seating on a deck.

Very dog friendly bar. You are allowed dogs indoors where there is air conditioning - this i found out very late. The place doesnt have any food but any food from outside is allowed. Kerbey lane is right next to it!

Chill bar on the drag, friendly staff and cheap drinks!! They also have pool,foosball, corn hole, lots of couches,and darts!! I highly recommend if youre looking for a not too crowded bar just to hang and relax

Great sports bar, nice bartenders and regulars. Full of rowdy Broncos fans on game day. Good selection of local drafts. There is a smoking patio, food truck, and Corn Hole targets out back.
