Not sure what David Palmer is talking about but the food has greatly improved compared to what it was in the past and its actually pretty damn delicious. I havent ordered everything on the menu, but the few things that I have are all really good (even while sober). Im no food critic but I know what I like and I wouldnt compare it to a drunken roommates unsuccessful attempt at Bagel Bites. Maybe its just me but I dont think many people go to The Dig for a fine dining experience. If thats what youre looking for this may not be the place to come. However, if you are looking for a friendly bunch of people, (staff & patrons) as well as a pint of your favorite beer after a long day, this is the place youll want to head to. For me Its all about the atmosphere and large selection of rotating local and import beers on tap; which is what I assume most people look for in a local, suburban-ey, neighborhood bar. I also enjoy that the bartender learned my name and my favorite beer after my second visit but again, thats just me. This place is the closest thing to Cheers that youll ever get, only the crowd is younger with a better selection of adult beverages.. Do yourself a favor and check out The Dig Pub for yourself. Whether you enjoy beer or not; because you maybe dont get down on hops and grains, you still wont be disappointed. Cause guess what....theyve got local meads and a variety of wines for you to enjoy. My recommendation are the homemade potato chips dipped in the jalapeño ranch dressing. Alsobe sure to check out the potato salad and burger. Theyre. wonderful

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dig! This is more than a restaurant or bar, it is as close to a British pub feeling Ive felt anywhere in Austin. Its about sitting down next to a stranger and having a conversation that is warm and friendly. Its a place that you can easily become a regular at. And thats before the beer and food! The tap selection is fantastic. It would be very hard indeed to find nothing to your taste unless you just dont like beer. The food is not the strong point, but the pizza is solid and tasty.

A great bar for beer aficionados! Large number of local brews and craft brews from around the country. Limited menu, but what is on it is well above average pub food. John at the bar is the dude. If you like Guinness, have him decorate one for you! Some of the waitresses (well , one in particular) are not very friendly...or maybe her shoes are too tight, I dont know. Live music occasionally too.

Best place in CP for craft beer. Great selection, new beers always coming in. The new food menu is great. The Monte Cristo is probably s one of my favs. The homemade potato chips with beer ketchup is a great happy hour snack, cheap and delicious. The patio is relaxing, you can bring your dog (or cat if youre that person), and you can walk down to Hamricks for take home beer. Its a match!

This place is one of the best places in Austin/Cedar Park. Over 20 beers on tap. Between the excellent service, awesome selection and the way they make you feel at home you cannot go wrong with this place. It is a well thought out place that is low key. Where else can I go and get a great IPA or Pale Ale my wife a tasty Pinot Noir and a cheese plate? It keeps you coming back. T$

Food was okay. Beer was great. Service was lousy. We waited over 10 min after being seated to put in our drink order. We waited another 10 min to get our drink order. Then waited 20 min to put in our food order. If we go back, well aim for a seat at the bar. The servers arent really interested in serving. Edit for follow-up visit: wait staff is rude af. Will never be back.

In a word: comfortable. A low-key, friendly place to hang out with friends in a quiet setting to enjoy good beer, good conversation and meet nice people. They serve a very wide variety of beers to suit every palate and their food menu complements their beers perfectly. Go for the Beer Cheese Mac n Cheese with Sausage, its a must-have for comfort food fans.

So grateful that this place is in Cedar Park. Great beer selection and specials are always a great value. The setup is a little odd with them sort of expanding next door. It seems like it was never fully integrated. Doesnt matter to me because it is a great place to relax and have a few beers that doesnt require much of a trek far from home.

It is hard to find a fine craft beer bar north of The Domain, but look no further! The beer selection is great and the service is always good. I dont drink wine but Im told the wine selection is good as well. The only down side is their hours. Im not a party animal but I would like it if they stayed open a little later.

Been going here for a couple of years now. My favorite place in the whole area. Incredible beer selection on tap, and helpful/knowledgeable staff. The only downside is that its become known for these qualities, so at peak hours it can be hard to find a seat and service can get slow.

Cool, very small, intimate pub with a huge selection of beer.I havent been there when they have live music but cant imagine a band and patrons- must just be a guy or gal and a guitar. But if you want to meet a buddy for conversation and a beer this is a good place to go.

This place is fantastic. Great craft beer selection on draft. Always rotating them in and out. Plus lots of local brews. Free wi-fi, so i can bring my laptop in and get some work done. Also darts, yeah. Seriously, best place to grab a beer in Cedar Park.

Very poor customer service. Bartender is rude and condescending. She needs to find some place else to work. Somewhere she will not have contact with customers. Beer is overpriced. Just not worth the trip. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else.

Im from Seattle, and this place is like a little piece of home! Delicious local brews and wines, and even a cider or two for the gluten free peeps! Great vibe, the last time I was in there they had the whole bar jammin to 90s hits!

This is literally across the street from my place and I love it! They get really busy almost everynight but there is a reason why, it is because it is a great local neighborhood bar. Itell everyone to go check it out once!

Fantastic selection of craft beer and friendly pub atmosphere. Met my beautiful wife here two years ago on our first date and we come back every year to celebrate. This place is a gem nestled in the heart of Cedar Park.

Cool pub in Cedar Park. Its kind of modern inside, with art work on the wall and IKEA-ish furniture, but still cozy. They have a very good selection, including Twisted X beers that havent made it south to Austin.

My regular spot when it opened, as I lived down the road. Exceptional selection of seasonal and specialty tap beers. Started serving food some years ago add a huge bonus, decor is like an archaeological dig.
