I came in tonight for quick dinner and Tomas informed me that they had a very busy Saturday and were out of crab wontons. I ordered a pork egg roll and a mango California sushi roll instead. When the sushi came out, I asked the friendly young guy who brought it to me if I could have some wasabi sauce. Apparently they were out of that too! I was disappointed but continued with my dinner, and Tomas came over to check on me and apologize. He gave me better customer service tonight than I have received in a long time, even at full service restaurants where servers are counting on tips, not to mention a quick service restaurant where they make a set hourly wage. He was so professional and genuinely polite that I asked if he was the manager. When he replied "No, would you like to speak to someone?" I said "Well, you should be!" Keep up the good work. Give this guy a raise and a promotion asap! :)

Today has been a trying day. Both of my dogs ended up catching a stomach bug and my vet cant see them until 10 am tomorrow morning. I was advised to feed them bland whit rice. I stopped by this Pei Wei to pick up rice. Tomas was the gentleman that helped me. I told him that I needed a lot of white rice and I gave him a rundown of what was going on. I also apologized for the weird request. Who buys a lot of white rice for their dogs??? Apparently me. He was so understanding and listened when I told him what was wrong. He ended up giving me 4 big boxes of white rice and only charged me for a side of white rice. I was near tears because my poor babies are sick and Tomas made me feel a lot better. Thank you again, Tomas. I dont think you realize what your kindness did for me tonight.

This was one of my regular go to places for a quick cheap dinner. Their combos are pretty hard to beat. For under $7, you can get an small portioned entree, rice, and choice of side which includes a spring roll or soup. Great, fast, friendly service. You can order in person, phone, or internet. They also remember your last order so you can just order what you had last time! Quick and simple. I recommend the Chicken Teriyaki Combo, extra veggies with Brown Rice and a hot and sour soup!

Stopped in with my Asian wife and daughter. Dan Dan noodles,really? Instead of chinese egg noodles we got spaghetti. Lo Mein noodles were not the thicker wheat noodles...yep, you guessed it, spaghetti...and both over cooked and mushy. If I had wanted overcooked pasta I would have visited Olive Garden. The Hong Cong BBQ special was OK. Asian Fusion? The only things that were fused were our noodles. Avoid this place like the plague!!! Oh, I almost forgot the strong BBQ smoke smell.

I ordered Pad Thai from this location. Shortly after ate it I ended up throwing it up. After further examination of the pad Thai, there was sour smell and look discolored. I called the manager just to let them know what was going on, I wasnt looking for anything free and I soon as I mention that I threw up from eating their food he quickly shut me down and wasnt willing to listen to my complaint in regards to his food. I will not be at this location again.

The first couple times we ordered from this location, everything was just fine. For the last few months, however, the service and quality had been terrible! They never get our orders right, no matter what we order, the staff couldnt be bothered to answer the phones half the time, and this last time, the guy at the takeout counter tossed up the bowls of condiments and whatnot and told us to just grab whatever. We will never go back to this location.

We generally like the menu. I think its a nice atmosphere. And we get good service. I did have a problem with this location because they do not have changing stations for babies. And they have plenty of space in both bathrooms for one. My wife verified the womens. So we had to go to the restaurant next door to change our baby. The management surely knows this since they immediately pinged to the restaurant that did have the baby changing stations.

I have been eating at this particular location for a few years now, and each and every time, this location has come through with great service and super great food. Im a fussy eater, and I customize my order each time, and they have always obliged and have never made me feel uncomfortable about doing such, and my meal has always been served just the way I have ordered it.

I rated it 3 stars only because their eggrolls were the best I have had here in Austin. I was hungover and got a bit of everything...the soup was cold and tasteless, the crispy chicken in my rice dish was soggy and had a microwaved taste to it...crab wontons (come on! how can you screw those up!!??) were cold on the inside and had a rancid taste. Great eggrolls though!.

Just finished eating at Pei Wei, my absolute favorite eating place. The food was delicious, but wanted to also send a shout out to "Tomas" who was point on with making sure we had everything we needed, removing empty plates and then taking an order to go! Im a Pei Wei fan but this is my least favorite location. I am one to give a place a second chance, even a third but too many poor experiences in a row here. Food made incorrectly, super slow service and frequently out of menu items. Has to be the management. Drive a little farther and go to the one at Tech Ridge. Youll save time in the end.

Decided to try this place for the first time Wednesday with the kids. The kids and I werent sure what to get. Thanks to the Manager Felix who was very knowledgeable and displayed great customer service we were able to decide and truly enjoyed our choices. We definitely found our new place. Fresh good delicious food! Kung pao shrimp with quinoa is my favorite! This place is always clean. You walk up to order and food is cooked fast using fresh ingredients! Freestyle coke machine is very welcome as well as their good selection of teas..Bathrooms were very clean and overall experience here was above par!

the food was mediocre, the egg rolls were disgusting, and the for some reason the soup had a strong BBQ smell. I assume because its right next to a BBQ place. The last time we went, the food, service, and quality were exceptional. I dont know what happened this time but we were very disappointed.

I go here once a week! Every time I call in they all ready know my name and order. I love the Mongolian Chicken with Brown Rice and it is healthy too! Service is fast and friendly. Its close to HEB so you can easily grocery shop then pick up delicious food to go when youre done grocery shopping.

My wife and I rarely take the time to leave a review but we made an exception here while we were in Austin. Tomass service was great, not only was our food fast and delicious but he was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable with the menu. Highly recommend this Pei Wei. Thank you Tomas!
