I ordered shrimp egg foo yong and fried pork rolls. The pork rolls were not traditional and had a strong smell and flavor, I did not really enjoy them. The egg foo yong came to me covered, drowned in dark brown sauce which traditionally is place in a cup on the side. It was slightly burnt on the underside which changes the flavor drastically and dry/over cooked on the inside. I spoke to the manager who stated "this is how the people like it, and the way my husband cooks it". I shared I expected a traditional dish and I came a long way to visit their restaurant. She then stated her husband would cook it, "the way you like it." This statement confused me as well as her loudness, which was a bit embarrassing. How do you tell a cook, how to cook a traditional dish!!?? At this point I had lost my appetite. I was not offered any other concessions. The people around were listening and glancing mostly seniors of which I am one. I only paid for the egg rolls and drink leaving the waiter a nice tip. I was thanked by the waiter, but noticeably not invited back by the hostess/manager. I passed up many other places to visit this one. Im sure there are other dishes to enjoy here, but my favorite was a bust!

Honestly had one of the most heartwarming experiences at this restaurant and because of the delicious food, kindness and compassion the staff showed towards their customers Ill come back for as long as I can. The owner (I assume?) was seating regulars and remembered all 5 of their orders - that in itself is amazing but she then caught up with them (4 at 1 table and 1 seated by himself) about their fathers/girlfriends/family, actually cared and talked to them, and did the same with me too. It was a nice change from the normal hustle of food industry in Austin and I havent really found that in many other places here. The food was absolutely excellent - a bit pricey but it was well worth it - it came out hot & fast and portion size was filling for sure - presentation was excellent and overall it was just a very wonderful eating experience on a Tuesday night almost near closing. Will always gladly support this business and the sweet family that runs it. Cheers yall!

This place is an absolute gem in the last place youd expect it! Despite being tucked into a little strip mall on Far West Blvd, there is so much to love here. The service is incredibly kind and personalized, the style inside is modest but very clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the food here is the best Ive had in a long time. They offer a variety of Asian food, and it just cant be beat. Ive been here with groups and solo and have always found the best quality in food. Its flavorful, unique and so well prepared. They have several different styles of Pho, so many that you could go every day of the week and not get bored. My favorite however is the Lo Mein there. The portions, the meat-to-noodle ratio (which I take very seriously) is perfect. Ive never left there hungry or disappointed. If you are looking for anew delicious eatery, be sure to give this place a try.

I called in an order for sesame chicken before noon... lunch time... and I went to pick up the order. They did not offer soup. The man ringing me up was strong-armed out of the way by what might have been the owner/manager. She said "let me ring this," and proceeded to charge me for the Dinner portion, and added herself an automatic 10 percent gratuity. I was shocked. The dinner plate does not come with a soup, and I really wanted egg drop soup. I have been back several times and the service and friendliness has increased, so I am bumping the review up to four stars. It will stay there until the mandatory 10% "gratuity added" is gone. Call it a service charge and illegally pocket the charge, but dont give yourself a ten percent tip just for ringing in and bagging up an order.

Very not happy with the way they do business one day I ordered food and the minimum was $10 for delivery witch was fine and placed my order had to wait 1 hour 15 mins but food was good. I call the next day to place the same order and now they are telling me that the minimum is $20 for delivery due to my location witch is on their map as one of the locations that they deliver too and no where does it say in that they can charge more due to your location. That is unprofessional and bad business and I will not be recommending to any persons at my business or outside.

I wish I lived closer to this place. I would eat here more often if I did. I always stop by when I am in that area for business. The food is very good. The portion sizes are pretty big too. The customer service is exceptional. The young lady who handles the to-go orders is one of the nicest people I have ever encountered behind a counter. She knew my name after my 2nd time there! Thank you! :D

This is our go-to neighborhood dining site. The food is all prepared on-site, and in our opinion, there is nothing even close to it in Austin. Weve never had a dish we didnt enjoy! My favorite? The Canh Chua soup . . . every time! We love the owners - they know us all by name, and make us feel like we are eating in our home away from home.

Very friendly establishment. The manager and her staff (which include family members) are welcoming. The food is great, especially with the lack of Chinese restaurants in the area that are affordable. I frequently order for take out and dine in here and will continue to do so. I am unsure why some people have had bad experiences here.

The manager has a very bad attitude. I called and said, "I would like to order chicken in garlic". But apparently the manager misheard "two order shrimp in garlic sauce". I am totally fine with all the mistakes. But, I can see really well a bad managers attitude towards me. It does not even deserve a star.

Found this place on Yelp. Wanted to try something besides JoyYee- glad I did. Accurate reviews. Owner greeted us. Large portions on the food. Great service. Actually- superior service for TX. Friendly people. Small trendy place. I enjoyed the food. Would definitely return.

Excellent Chinese food and great service as well. The dishes are very flavorful even without MSG. They offer a wide range of items. The hot and sour soup is excellent, and the pan fried dumplings are even better that any Ive had in Taiwan.

not very honest place. If you do not check your ticket you will be cheated. I went in for lunch and they charged me dinner prices. and the portion size was no dinner portion. Very dishonest establishment. I will never go there again.

Hao-Q is great, we eat there a few times a month and its our favorite place around because you can get Vietnamese and Chinese food at the same place. Consistently awesome, I would personally recommend. Try the brisket pho.

Very tiny portions. Charge 8 or 9 bucks for a cup of rice and 6 or 7 nugget pieces of chicken accompanied with a ton of large cut vegetables. Taste was ok, 5 out of 10 very average. Left hungry
