This was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse, so wasnt sure what to expect (it was a group event, informal wedding celebration), other than lots of good food. There was definitely plenty of food and lots of selection, but I think a little strategic eating is called for. First of all, for other first timers, this is not like a typical buffet (except for the salad bar, which is). They bring the meat to you. Its all bbqd and on a skewer, so basically, if you want that particular selection, you get the next piece on the skewer. Some of the larger pieces, theyll cut a piece off, and you do sort of get a choice of medium, well done, etc, but more on that later. Because theres so much selection, if youre tempted to try everything youll probably end up full before you can really chow down on the one or two cuts you really like. So if you think a bit beforehand, you may want to limit what you try. Might be hard the first time, since you may not know what everything is like, but for me, Ill definitely be more selective next time. For my visit, several of the selections were pretty dry, I think over cooked. I hope its not always like that, but if so, that would be disappointing. That leads me to my next tip: If you like your steak med-rare or rare, youll have to be really picky and patient. Most of the cuts I saw were medium to welldone. Since the server is just going person to person, table to table, if they happen to come to you when there is a med-rare piece available, youre in luck. Next time, I would be patient and wait for that one slice. I lucked out once and got a piece of filet mignon that was pretty red, and it was really good. Every other cut of steak I got was more cooked than I like. The only exception I found was the beef ribs, which were soft and tender, even well-done, I guess because its a more fatty cut. Anyway, those 2 pieces made it worthwhile, to me, despite all the other over cooked meet. In general, Im guessing that the meat is going to be more overcooked than under cooked because that would be safer for them. The salad bar was quite good. Not sure if Id want to eat just that, as some have said, but it was good. All in all, worth trying if youve never been, and for me, worth going to again, but with selective eating.

Excellent food, even offers a lunch special on the weekend! Ive only had Brazilian BBQ served this way at one other place, and this place was on par with the excellent experience I had at the previous place. Food quality was great, waiter service was excellent, and this place one upped the previous place I had dined at because Estancia Churrascaria offers discounted lunch prices even on the weekend. My friend and I visited and dined on a Sunday and left unable to hold anything else. I wasnt even able to try all the items offered as I found a few that I loved and asked for 2nds and 3rds. Almost all the meats were prepared perfectly, and sides brought to the table were interesting and authentic to Brazilian BBQ. The salad bar had a good offering of items, but I was there for the meat. Our plates never went empty, servings each time were sometimes more than needed, and everything had excellent flavor. Almost no wait times to be seated, be served, or get refills on drinks. Prices are average for Brazilian BBQ, and very fair for a place that offers this pricing on a weekend. This isnt a place to eat at regularly. Come here with an appetite. If you have never had Brazilian BBQ before, and are looking for a place to try it, or maybe a place to eat for a birthday or anniversary dinner. I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is nice. Its more of a fine dining establishment. I will be returning again, as soon as I finish digesting my last trip. The worst in customer service. At Christmas we purchased $500 in gift cards to take my work team to lunch. In return we received $100 in gift cards for future use. These cards expired on 31 March. We went on 15 March. We also had other cards that we received. We were there for a celebration and looked forward to it. When we got there we showed them the cards and the waiter said he would have to speak to the manager about the cards. The cards said that they could not be used on a Friday or Saturday, this was a Sunday so we figured we were safe. Someone, not the manager, came to us and said "management" would only allow on per table but they would let us use the two of them. I told him that was unfair and that they would expire before we were able to use them. He didnt seem to care, he said that was what management said. I will never, ever return there. We paid for the gift cards plus extra at the Christmas celebration and used all the cards we bought no problem but now we couldnt use the $140 that we had. I was so angry about them ruining our personal celebration. I did, however, get pleasure handing out all the cards to tables in the restaurant so they would be used. I handed out one per table to save them a little money and the cards did get used. Beware if you buy the gift cards. I like to eat local and support local but next time I will go to the other Brazilian restaurant downtown. That was just wrong because they charge so much and I would think you get gift cards to return which I will never do.

Great experience! If you partake in the meat selections, come hungry and pace yourself. Its on the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for - if you can eat more than a bird. Everything they serve is high quality. The meat selection is abundant. The waiters are always around to ensure you have plenty of choices and if you do not see what you want, then ask them and they will bring it to you. The lamb is my favorite while my husband prefers the sirloin. This past visit I only chose to have the Salad Bar, which is entirely filling and very satisfying. The choices, between artichoke bottoms, smoked salmon, salads, cheeses, rice/beans, and much much more were delicious!! Most definitely what you would see in your every day salad bar selections at other places. I loved the smoked salmon, asparagus, mushrooms, artichokes, and artisan meats and cheeses. The Caesar salad was superb as well, much better than most places I have had this before.. Beware of the drinks that rotate with the meat, these are not included in the price of the meal- which we found out the hard way our first visit. The desserts are high quality also, I recommend the Key Lime pie or the Cheesecake for sure. Both are creamy, fresh, delicate and velvety.

I love that this is located up north, unlike its competitor. There is no need to deal with downtown parking and valeting. There is a ton of parking here and this location is large and roomy, very easy to get to. Its probably a good idea to make a reservation on the weekends it can get crazy. The set up is like any other typically Brazilian Steakhouse. There is a full crazy salad bar that has anything you could possibly want on your salad. Everything here is all you can get, but a better buffet than your traditional one. They will bring you sides to your tables, including awesome little cheese rolls, mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and fried bananas. The rolls and polenta are amazing in my opinion. They have people who come around and bring the various types of meats to you, ranging from sirloin, lamb, chicken, ribs and sausage. You flip your card to green when you are ready to eat and red if you need to take a break. The will continue to fill your sides and your meats as you need it. Its definitely a place to go when you can put away a good amount of food. The lunch is cheaper but with the same food items as the dinner.
