Staff was great, but the wine list is terrible and the food is insulting. I ordered a happy hour cab that could have come out of a box, and sent it back (with expectations low enough for a $5 happy hour wine). The next glass of wine came from a bottle that was rotten and had been sitting too long. The staff happily opened up a new bottle for this glass. I sampled two pinot noirs after that, and picked the one that actually had some flavor because it wasnt worth the hassle of waiting longer for another glass. Finally I went with their $12/glass Chianti which was...wine. Boring, and disappointing. Next was the food. I ordered a Tomato Caprese Salad and the Olives. The salad was thinly sliced roma tomatoes and a bunch of hacked up mozzarella, drizzled with overly sweet balsamic. No olive oil to be discerned, no basil, and no flavor. Disgusting. It was on part with what McDonalds would serve. I ate it because I was hungry, but for a menu item that is regularly $10, this was ridiculous. I can chop up string cheese on a roma tomato any time. The olives were as bad. A bowl so full of microscopic katamala olives supported 5 seed filled green olives that obviously blew out the target profile margin for the olive dish. As I scooped the katamala sand out of the bottom of the bowl, I was greeted with an inch of soupy olive juice...what must have been left of the jar. Totally gross for any price. Not finger food, and not appetizing. I wish Baretto the best, but at this rate they are not going to make it.

Came for New years eve four course dinner with my wife and was very impressed by the cuisine, timelines of courses and staff. Have also been here for sports bar purposes and am never disappointed. Small, intimate bar as the name suggests.

Great spot in an area that lacks a place like this. I had their pizza, which was delicious. Separately, they have some tasty beers on tap at their bar. Theyve been added to my places to visit every week or so.

Baretto is awesome! Mike is a great bartender and the entire staff is so friendly. I highly recommend this casual bar. It even has a few small bites and an extensive wine list. Check it out!
