Hubby and I are self proclaimed foodies -- we like to find the best of the best in each genre. Im not lying when I say we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and low prices at this small town restaurant. The stuffed redfish with an Alexander cream sauce -- delicious!! Hubby had a dish with jalapeño cream sauce that would be amazing on just about any fish or chicken dish. We came back again for lunch and my husband had one of the best Osyer Poboys weve had-- plump large oysters and plenty of them! I personally loved the coconut shrimp appetizer (I know, thats a common dish but this place does it right and you can tell they arent shaking anything out of a frozen bag, frying it up and throwing it on a plate)-- the coconut was toasted perfectly, served with a tangy sweet sauce. A friend tried the Sweet Fire burger which was an uptown burger for a country town-- with plenty of melted Gouda cheese, candied jalapeños, and --what??-- blackberry preserves on a toasted jalapeño bun??! No way!! WAY!! It was delicious and the stuff that makes you want to drive all the way back to Granbury for another one. We were too full for dessert both times so no advice there. In any event... Keep it up, Flames, well be stopping back in when we travel this way.

We are new to the area and werent sure if wed like the "cajun" options on their menu; therefore, before being seated we requested viewing a menu. The hostess was very accommodating. She gave us ample amount of time to peruse the menu and make our decision. We decided to give it a try. We ordered an appetizer, a platter, a chowder and a full-sized specialty dinner salad to make sure we covered all the menu options. Each item came out temperature correct from the kitchen, all rather swiftly and very pleasing to the eye as well. And, finally the last test, each and every speck of food was devoured on our table....i dont believe there was a French fry nor leaf of lettuce to be found. All delicious. If there was one drawback it would be that our server was very quiet. I dont know if they were new, just very shy, or naturally quiet; however, it was somewhat of a hindrance in communication. But, nothing that would keep me from returning. Great place.

Went in for lunch, maybe a handful of people in the restaurant. I ordered fish and chips and got fried catfish, and a very small piece at that. My husband ordered bacon wraped shrimp and cheesy grits. The grits were lumpy and not cook all thru, and 4 dried bacon wraped shrimp that were awfully. Our waitress set our food down and never checked on us again till we told her we were done and asked for the check. Once we paid my husband asked to see the person in charge, we waited and after awhile our waitress said he would be with us in a few minutes. We left and will not, never, ever be back!

Me & my wife went there for a late lunch around 3. Cant remember our waiters name. He was a new hire from Ft. Worth. He gave us the best service we ever had. He was always stopping by at the right time to check on us, and see if we needed anything. I had the jalapeño catfish. They said they could cook it anyway I wanted. So I got it grilled. My wife hates catfish, till she tried theres. She liked there fish. All our food was fresh and hot. Service was excellent. We will be going back again. Think we will take the whole family next time.

The food is good, however, our server was not. Bri, our server, had a bad attitude the whole time. Never smiled and never refilled our drinks. I needed condiments to go with my meal and she never returned for me to ask for them. She stood in the center of the room with her back to us while talking to a man at another table. If you want better tips, do a better job with all of your customers!

Took 2 friends there yesterday for lunch. The Filets Mignons and baked potatoes & vegetables we ordered came out Luke warm at best. The cheese would not even melt. When we informed our server she suggested a warmer box to reheat it. Spending over $100 for three lunches youd expect quality not a poor experience. Will never return.

My wife and I were celebrating our 36th anniversury on a Wed. night. The food and drinks were to die for. But even more rewarding was the very personal and professional attention given to us. We both will cheerish our dinner at Flames in Granbury. As for the " tab", OMG ! Thank you so much. As Arnold says: Well be back.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Menu was way overpriced for amount of food on plate, there was hair on our dinner rolls, my plate as well as my spouses was served with an item missing on each plate. My shrimp kabobs were missing the mushrooms. Service was very poor. Definitely never eating there again. Very unsatisfactory!!!!!!

Salad was soggy and brown...got the shrimp trio... stuffed shrimp looked it was stuffed with raw crab... other shrimp was just way over cooked and blah...way over priced for the poor quality, effort and pride in their food...we would not come back and waste our money at flames

Very shorthanded and slow. Couldnt get one of the meals right and we ended up sharing a meal because they never brought correct food. Plus side, waitress was very nice and apologetic. We saw several people leave because no one would seat them.

Save your money. Bad for a $25.00 steak. Go to Hoffbrau or HEB and buy your own. The potatoes tasted like they had dirt in them. The steak was something you might get at Golden Coral for half the price and all you can eat.

Food was under cook and other food was over cooked. Wait staff busy socializing with each other and chewing gum with mouth open tacky prices way to high for poor quality food and service will never go again

Food was delicious. Scallops very tender. Oysters Rockefeller was perfect. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend. This was our first time there.. but not the last.

This is my new favorite spot! I suggest getting the oysters Rockefeller for the table. They are always amazing & a different option. They also have a great happy hour!

Best seafood in Granbury. Has a little more of a Cajun flavor to menu. I have ordered the crawfish and shrimp etouffee a couple times I have been and is anyways good.

Portions are very small and the price is very high. I ordered stuffed redfish and got half of a filet. The "dirty rice" was anything but. Wouldnt eat here again.

I cant believe I have to pay 8.99 for a chicken sandwich that the chicken is literally thin as paper. You cant even taste the chicken. Not a good experience at all

Very relaxed atmosphere. Services wasbfantastic. Food was amazing but I wish the portion would have matched the price. Regardless we will be going back

Friendly staff. For previously frozen seafood theyre fine. Prices are comparable to Chilis in some aspects. I recommend the blackened salmon.
