First time coming to this place , I really liked how the table where set up . it took the server 10 minutes to come and ask why we wanted to drink . then another 5 minutes for her to return with the drinks. It was not busy for a Saturday night. When we finally got our food , they dropped it and never returned . one of the older ladys stood in front of our table blowing her nosie. We asked for to go box cause we wanted to get out of there . never seen our server or got refills and asked how the food was. As I looked at the check there was 25 cent charge two times when I asked why , they said it was for the Togo box. Never did they tell us or have I ever been to a restaurant that charges . will not return .

From the moment you walk in you can tell this is gonna be a unique experience. The server we had barely spoke enough English to take our order and I loved it. The Korean music playing added to a chill ambience. My date and I ordered the spicy stir fried squid with vegetable and was surprised at how big the plate was! It was enough for both of us and then some. Ive never had Korean food so I cant vouch for its authenticity, but my god was it flavorful and spicy! The best part was the owner and her husband coming out to see how we enjoyed everything and to share some backstory on their restaurant. Super awesome people and awesome food.

Mom-and-pop shop with great food. We eat here a few times a year, and whether its been busy or slow, weve always gotten excellent food and fairly good service. When its slow, the service is noticeably faster and more personal. I dont think they have enough wait staff to cover super busy nights adequately, but they still manage to take care of folks. Wed go more often if it were a little closer, but still its our go-to if were in the area. Generous portions and excellent banchan, too.

I have a couple of favorites in Austin but this place surpasses all of them. I felt like I was eating at my grandmas for dinner. Also, major points for serving Bori Cha, which is Korean barley tea. Im originally from Los Angeles and most, if not all, Korean restaurants serve Bori Cha. Then I moved to Austin and every time I would ask for it, I would always get a confused look. I literally said, "Yay!" when the server brought it to our table.

Reasonably priced and tasty Korean food lunch specials. Ive had their galbi, bibimbap, yook kae jang, and kimbap. Its family-owned, unpretentious, and simple. There was a heavily-scented floral candle that was lit in the dining room the last time I went, which kind of threw me and my appetite off. Overall though, the food is good for the price, and I will continue to go there for an inexpensive lunch whenever I crave Korean food.

Service was painfully slow and borderline rude. My soup was sour instead of spicy and it was obvious there was something rotten in it. I had the soup taken back and didnt order anything in its place because I didnt want to wait another 45 minutes for my food. I shared my fiance bulgogi, seafood pancake, and side dishes. Everything was mediocre. I loved in Korea for two years. This was the worst korean meal Ive ever eaten

So worth the trip to this restaurant. If you are in the mood for awesome Korea food, you will need to come here. Food was so amazing and staff was super nice and the service was fast. Perfect place to go for lunch, they will get your food out to you fast, so you can get back to work. It is also a perfect for dinner too, I know you will like it and I hope you bring me back some treats after you read my review :)

I absolutely love this place. All you can eat and the food is amazing, especially the short ribs! It is seriously so delicious. Service is good, Saturday nights get busy and we had to wait an hour one time. The drinks are amazing too, the strawberry soju is my favorite!! They bring your order out fast and the staff is really nice. An hour and a half time limit though!

Authentic and solid general Korean restaurant. The kalgooksoo ($5.99) gives the choice between clams or chicken, I tried the clams and thought the broth and noodles were both good. Great deal. The galbi tang ($8.99) was also decent, pretty interesting choice on their part to use a doenjang base for the soup, as were the loads of cabbage, but it worked.

The bulgogi was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and on the leaner side (which I prefer). The dumpling soup was filling; the amount of dumplings in it was generous. The thing I enjoy most about Korean restaurants is the "surprise" Banchan side dishes; the ones here werent the best, but the eggplant was a nice addition. Service was very friendly and efficient.

They have the best soondubu in town (spicy soft tofu). It tastes like your Korean mom would make it if you had a Korean mom. The sides are varied and tasty as well with a solid kimchi. They were still in the process of getting a liquor license and figuring out their service, but its definitely a spot to try.

The food is excellent. Thats what matters. From the time you step in the door until you are served your mouth will be watering. The service might best be described as "authentic" so if youre expecting a lot of hand holding check elsewhere. This place is busy and the wait staff is constantly moving.

Food very good and resonably priced. We had awesome customer service from the owner, and he was able to recommend and explain what each dish had in it. Over all an awesome experience and will definitely return!

Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. The food is authentic Korean spicy and not toned down for the American palate. Good little side dishes with every meal.

Great bulgogi and a variety of little pickled side dishes served in a friendly mom and pop atmosphere. Wish I was in Austin more often so I could come back regularly.

As a Korean American, I enjoyed their Mandoo/steamed dumplings and Karlgooksoo_Korean traditional noodle with fresh Kimchee. Want to visit again.
