I went today, been there before, sad to say, but the service has not improved. I feel like it got worse. I’ve tried to believe that maybe It was just a bad day, but I can honestly say that today will be my last day there. I totally agree with Mayra Herrera. About the different race treatment. I desided to take my nephews for there first Korean food experience. We were the first ones there and this lady never even bothered to check up on our table. No side dish refills nor drink refills... For the many meals I ordered, only got one time side dishes. The lady kept going back and forth to the other table where there were Koreans all smiling and everything and the lady never bother to come and check on us. What am I suppose to do, scream at her from across the other side or get up to get her attention?? When it came time to pay. I asked if there was a charge for refills on the Iced tea, she said no, so I was like OK. I filled up my receipt and placed a zero on the tip area and the total amount on the receipt and singed it. She looked at it and still had the nerve to ask me If I left a tip on the table...WOW!! really? seriously? I didn’t want to make a big deal about it so I grabbed the copy of the bill and replied to her NO, I didn’t get any refills. I should have told her that she never went to check up on us but, honestly I had to control my self because when she asked me that, inside I was really upset. Wow, why is that that ppl believe that tipping is an obligation. I normally tip but for awesome service. What the lady provided was not service at all. So much for a good experience for my nephews. The prices got pricier and the side dishes got depressing. No way I am going back...I would rather go and experience other Korean restaurants if there are any, rather than going back there. I really hope that lady doesnt dare to forge the price on the bill. She really got on my nerves this time -_-.

JUST WONDERFUL :) It was my first time trying Korean food and it was just awesome! I had the great time dining there. Their Bulgogi, Traditional Korean BBQ, was so delicious and their various side dishes were great as well. Their kimchi, its a korean traditional fermented cabbage pickle, was so good! I liked all the sides but If I had to pick a favorites, I would say kimchi and marinated raddish cubes and marinated black beans! One of my friend ordered the Soft tofu soup with beef and it came out in this traditional korean pot and it was amazingly good! My other friend ordered Bibimbap, it was a rice dish with veggies on the stone bowl and it has various veggies with egg on top :) It was so pretty and delicious! They have pretty garden in the center of the restaurant, which gives calm and nice setting, and they also have a pretty mural over the wall :) if you like Korean dramas or Kpops(Korean musics), you should definitely check it out! Great service! The lady who works there was so nice and she taught me and my friends some words in korean too! If I were plan to dine in somewhere nice and tropical, I would recommand Korea Garden!

Oh my god, this place is the best! My first time going was with two friends and after that day we have been making plans to go every two weeks. The food is just so delicious and that flavor of the food just bursts in your mouth. Each order is family size and so filling. The side dishes are fun to try if its your first time eating Korean food and even if it isnt. There is not a single thing that you will say you dont like. By the time you finish eating, youll want to make plans about going again and trying something different or the same thing. The service is great, everyone is very kind and will put your comfort at their forefront. The setting is so comfortable and youll feel just like at home. Everything makes you relax and enjoy your time there. There is a whole wall that has a mural painted on it and its just beautiful. If you are really into the k-pop or korean culture and/or entertainment, this is definitely a place that you would want visit, again and again(2pm pun intended). This is the perfect place that youll love to dine and have a great time. I recommend everyone to go to Korea Garden! ^^

My sister and I went to check out the place. When I first went in, I saw a miniture herb garden outside the door and a lot of plants inside. An older gentleman greeted us warmly and guides us to a table inclosed by panels. Because of some personal issue, I could not stay and eat. Therefore I went to the register to ask for carryout, the older lady was on the phone and ignored me. She asked what I wanted and I told her. She just turned and continued talking on the phone making me wait about five minutes. When I finally, ordered and payed and waited for the food. After fifteen minutes and no food, an asian american family came in. The same lady that treated us rudely went all smiley and giving a warm welcome to the family asking if they wanted anything to drink. I felt the racism right then (Im Hispanic) toward my race. I had to wait additional ten minutes for my food while the family where getting served. As for the food, it was okay but not great like in Seoul House restaurant. I got too little for the price (which is very high $12-30+) and service given.

Great tasting food fair prices but very bad service and to top things off the cook was wearing pijamas. It was only us and another family in the restaurant and it took them forever to even bring us the drinks and it took them even longer for the food. The waitress which i beleive was also the owner seemed nice but very unattentive and was not worried at all if we needed anything else while eating such as more drinks, sides, ect.. but she did charge us 20% tip. If you want great tasting food and dont mind the service then you should go.

Hi, Ive been to the Korea Garden several times and i must admit that it is a restaurant of excellent quality. Ive tasted their bulgogi as it is and in the earthenware bowl and both of these meals are very good. The meat which i assume is some form of steak is always tender and seasoned just right and the side dishes always compliment the meal to perfection. Whenever traveling to McAllen i always make sure to designate enough time to enjoy one of their meals.

It is one of the very few korean restaurants in the valley, and it is my top 1 best place to eat. It is a family own restaurant, all from Korea. It is not a cozy place but it is extremely clean and quite. The food has an amazing taste, with a good proportion and they always serve appetizers before giving your meal. A place that is worth going as often as possible.

Worst experience!! Expensive, horrible service and the lady charged us for a $10 tip on my final bill and they never once came to ask if we needed anything else I got up asked for soy sauce. One serving of sides quite ridiculous when you purchase more than one meal...on the menu it says sides served. Dont go here!
