There was only one server for the entire restaurant. She would literally be out of breath when she came back to us, which would be quite infrequent. I dont blame the server for any of the things that went wrong. She shouldnt have been the only one working. The server delivered the wrong dish. When I brought it to her attention, she gave me the correct dish right away. Instead of letting me keep the wrong dish for free, as has been standard experience in other restaurants, the server notified me that I could only keep one or I would be charged for both. Perhaps the practice I am used to is a luxury of bigger businesses but it was odd to experience nonetheless. The owner was rude. She yelled at the poor server for making a mistake. That is very unprofessional. You should never berate a worker in front of customers, especially if it was an honest mistake. That poor girl was so overworked and stressed. Somehow, the server managed to stay composed and professional when serving me and my friend. I was not into the food itself. The tofu soup I had ordered had a slight fishy taste to it. My friend, however, enjoyed her dish (not sure what it was but it wasnt soup). Payment is required at the front of the store. Nobody was attending the cash register so there was a bell to notify the attention of the owner. She wouldnt come right away as Im sure she was busy attending to things in the kitchen but she would come within two minutes. When my friend and I were ready to pay, we waited over five minutes, possibly close to ten. We rang the bell a few times in hopes that maybe the first few werent loud enough. Nobody should have to wait 10 minutes to pay when there is no line. That doesnt make sense. Thats how your business stays functioning. The owner eventually came out and didnt apologize for the wait. I gave it two stars because my friend had been here before and was willing to come back (this was her suggestion). I, however, do not plan on coming back.

all reviews are showing excellent, but i assume these people have never really had Korean beforoe...ordered bolgogi...had it first time in colorado springs co at papa sans....very delicious meal with usually 5 sides including kimchi bean sprouts very well seasoned. recently have been ordering same dish in san antonio tx and houston tx which satisfied my want of a really good Korean dish...my korean friend says in korea, you can order bolgogi which is beef or kegogie which is dog meat...unfortunately neither one was satisfying a t this restaurant. I ordered two orders of bolgogi for pick up. got 2 side dishes each for $14 dollars each. called and asked about the missing side dishes...owner states" for same price, if you dine in, you get the five side dishes but if you order out, you only get 2...doesnt make sense to me. also, bolgogi is usually dry fried not stewy with no mushrooms( where in the world did the mushrooms come into play) and it did not taste like bolgogi...more like common beef with a few oriental (chinese maybe) spices...I got screwed here but it will not happen again...will not order again from this place again.

Went with my sister and the lady was very rude to us, wouldnt answer my questions about the food and said she was "too busy" then walked away. We finally got to order but when we got our drinks there was this gross thick film floating at the top of my drink, I tried mixing it to see if it changed anything but it still looked disgusting! The best way to describe it is like as if a piece of paper was placed on the drink and soaked and then thats what I got. The food wasnt great either. My advice, look for another korean restaurant, theres a better one on 10th and the service isnt bad like this one.

I go VERY VERY often and the waitress always gets us the drinks and then later she comes and puts the food down. Then you WONT see her at all you literally have to walk almost into the kitchen to get more refills. The place closes at 10 and I went at 9:30 and she refused service. They were going to make $40 but I guess they didnt care about my mom and i.

Been going here for about 6 years now. Her side dishes are very delicious and she is such a great person. The only problem is that sometimes the service or waiting staff isnt the best but that is every once in a while. She does close at a certain time during the day and reopens for dinner so its best to call ahead and ask if she is still open.

Ive ordered tteokbokki many times here , Ive noticed they put more tofu and beef more than rice cakes, there was 8 peices of rice cake in mine! The rest was tofu. They also didnt add all the side dished, but usually they do. Maybe next time theyll put more rice cake. I really like this resteraunt, please do something about this.

This is a mom and pop type of place. I went during lunch and ate Dol-Sot Bee-Beam-Bob. The food came out quickly and the stone bowl was very hot. The dish was delicious and their side chile sauce tasted great. The lady was eager to explain the dishes and gave us samples of their Kimchi and other sides. Im definitely going back.

The bi bim bap was excellent! I would come here again and again for their delicious and authentic food! My food came out fast and had no wait. Will be taking my family and friends here without question!

The food itself is 5-star because of how unique it is in the valley. But the atmosphere is completely different than the food. So it removes you from the experience of enjoying the food to its fullest.

Best place to get some authentic Korean food. The owner was such a sweet heart and I most defiantly will be going back there again. And her kim-chi is made in house

The food is great! The owners are very nice. The spicy soup wasnt as spicy as I wouldve liked but they had plenty of spicy condiments to get the heat you want.
