This is a new 24 hours diner in downtown Nashville... The design of this place is a contemporary industrial... It is a place that they will not seat you...You will be the one to seat yourself ..When you walk in here they only had two booth table and all the seating is a counter seating...I had a chicken waffles and it is awesome as it is not too greasy or too sweet unlike the chicken and waffles I had tasted in other place...The serving of food is just enaugh not too large and not too small... However, their chicken quesadilla is too dry so I only gave them four star.. and they should had salsa on the side or even sour cream it guacamole so that their chicken quesadilla is not that too dry...The service is good and the server is friendly...I recommend this place whenever youre in for a late night food...

The Nashville restaurant starter kit was definitely used when this place was built. Neon lights, reclaimed wood, and a few hundred Edison bulbs hanging down. There is no diner feel to this place in my opinion. The Pork Belly Eggs Benedict wasnt very good. There was very little béarnaise sauce on the eggs. One would expect it to coat most of the egg and run down to the muffin. The amount of sauce i had barely covered the yolk part of the egg. Dont be fooled by the Chef Thomas Hash Browns and think youre actually getting hash browns. What you get is cubed up sweet potatoes cooked like home fries. On a good note, the staff is friendly and the asparagus was great!

This place was fantastic! I had the Pork Belly Benedict, and G had the Million Dollar Quartet. The food was fresh, great quality meats, and there was asparagus with my meal :-). We both loved the fact that the hash browns included a variety of potatoes including sweet and purple! Service: Top notch. Tabby was extremely personable and welcoming. She provided us with everything we needed with a smile and enthusiasm! And our morning cook, Sanchez Merbell, greeted us at our table to make recommendations and explain the menu! And everything was cooked to perfection, even my poached eggs

Worst experience ever! The waitress was awful and it took her 20 min to bring us drinks. She kept serving my husband the wrong drink. We ordered chicken and waffles and an omelet and it cost us $50. The food was awful and we found cauliflower that had fallen into his syrup. We asked for the waffles without gravy (as did the couple next to us) and we were both served waffles with gravy and the waitress didnt take it back to fix it. The bacon was burnt on one end and raw on the other. We will never go back to this horrendous establishment.

Absolutely great place! Happened upon this little gem after attending a concert at Bridgestone Arena. Food was delish and very reasonably priced, especially considering its in the heart of Nashville. The wait staff had their hands full, not an empty seat in the house. Even tho they were extremely busy service was phenomonal. The cooks did their part kept the food comin out as quick as their hands could move. Waitress was very attentive and courteous. Ill definitely be back to Sun Diner!!

This place is so good! Prices are a little steep but, really good. Hey this place is so much better than the new Diner Nashville that just opened up. That place sucks and this place beats them by 10 furlongs. LOL! Who wants to pay $9 for a bowl of Oatmeal at that new Diner Nashville? Not me. I want reasonable prices for everyone and this place is it. Its about time downtown has a place thats open 24 hours. Thanks guys and gals for opening this place up. Kuddos to you!

This place was awesome! Its small so theres not a ton of seating, but its worth waiting. Their coffee is amazing. It was the perfect way to start out our day downtown. We only had a traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes but it was amazing. The bacon is too quality. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The pancake was delicious. The potatoes were also surprisingly good. Love it.

We had an epic experience here! It was our first time in Nashville and apparently we just missed the concert rush and so we had the place nearly to ourselves. Knowing we had a 1 year old son and that we were traveling that night he gave us some yogurt & berries for our son and a coffee to go at no extra charge. Plus the burgers were Phenomenal! I couldnt speak more highly of this place!

Saw all of the great reviews and thought this would be a great new place to try out. The fries and potatoes were cold followed by the worlds rudest waitress made this an experience I will never go back to again as long as I live in Nashville. As a local I would think that customer service would be a top priority but not at this place. The sun has truly set on the sun diner. Very sad.

Creative breakfast menu. Not your traditional "eggs, bacon and hash brown" morning fare. Large portions. We had the hash and tacos--both cooked to perfection. Loved the oldie music and service with a smile. Its mostly counter seating. Parking nearby ($17 for two hours) as is other tourist sites.

The place must have changed management, everything was pretty much a mess. I dont think Ive ever waited so long for coffee and water at a diner. The food came out mostly cold and the server was completely overworked. Kitchen staff seemed fittingly laid back, which would explain the cold food.

Food was good. Food took a very long time because of waffles taking forever. Waitress noticed this and comped 1 of 2 meals. In my book that is great customer service. Recommend the place to anyone visiting. Down a star just because I cant recommend or comment on the waffles.

I enjoyed the chic barn feel here but more importantly the food was good. I had the short rib hash which had some perfectly cooked eggs and a great base hash. My other friend had the lox bagel, which she thought was very good. Would go here again!

clean, comfortable, great breakfast spot. i had a combo with delicious waffles, peppery bacon, eggs and hash browns. the hash browns were really more like home fries with a mix of regular and sweet potatoes. it was yummy.

Best burger melt Ive ever had! My husband and son both loved the Chicken & Waffles! Great atmosphere conducive to impromptu conversation with other patrons who enthusiasticly offer recommendations. Will definitely be back!

Quaint, cute restaurant that felt super diner-y. Delicious food with the diner touches and busy wait staff. Everyone was nice and the food was AMAZING. Everything looked good, but the short ribs has was to DIE for.

Service is beyond slow. They are out of main ingredients. Go elsewhere. Go to the Hermitage Cafe or Athens ~ 5 & 10 minutes away, respectively, ~ both WAY better. This is a tricky tourist TRAP!

Service was extremely poor. All staff was around the food without hairnets. Took 20 mins to get a Coca-Cola. Food was nothing extraordinary. Not impressive diner whatsoever.
