The 5 stars is for the food and prices only. However the service was bad. I absolutely HATE not tippping but the waitress did nothing. I was going to give her a dollar for bring the food but decided not to. We came in at 3 or 4 am. Got French toast, pancakes, 2 orders of hasbrowns, 2 orders of bacon, and 2 coffees, $32. After the waitress brought the food she never came back to refill or coffees, water, or see if our food was okay. She was not tired. She looked fresh and lively. She did not have a lot of tables. She walked by us a few times to attend to other tables. As a matter of fact she watched them clear out table and she still didnt refill out drinks. We waited and waited for her to bring our bill. We decided to go to the front to complain about her and before we could say anything they guy told us the cost of our meal. So we paid and left. We would go back because the food was very good.

Went for the first time yesterday. My friend asked the waitress what she recommended and she effectively said "you can get breakfast anywhere" and pointed out her favorites from the lunch portion of the menu. I had the French Dip sandwich (meh) and Chicken Soup (pretty good, but on the verge of being too salty). It came with Fries that were okay plus a lettuce and pickle wedge. The prices are more than fair but the food is only fair. Huge menu which leads me to think theyre trying to be all things to all people, which never works. Saw the dessert case on the way out which looked really appetizing. Free parking in the back for @ five cars which is always a plus!

This place serves a good breakfast at a fair price. The staff is efficient, friendly, and works hard to make every customer feel welcome. (Ask for Maria or Victor, though all of the staff is good.) I usually have breakfast there on Sunday and I often see the owner working alongside her staff, serving customers and busing tables. She really cares about the customers experience and it shows. I am happy to have this diner in the neighborhood and know that it is open around the clock!

They let me sit and charge my phonw tonight and gave me a free cup of coffee which i wont take because im not that kinda of person that drinks black coffee plus all i needed is to sit somewhere warm and safe because i didnt wanted to be out in the streets walking and falling asleep. great place and thank god its 24 hours and by my fiancées dads place. hopw i can get to enjoy their once i start getting more of my own money.. kindness is needed all around the world.

Great decor and atmosphere. Definitely a good spot to hang out any time of day. My concern lies with the wait staff and the food. Our waiter was mediocre, not especially engaging and kinda sour. As far as food goes, I got french toast, eggs, and a side of bacon - diner classics. The French toast was nothing special and the eggs definitely werent as good as I would have liked. This, combined with Downtown Chicago prices earns it two stars

Amazing breakfast food and a great location. The restaurant opened recently and is nearly almost always bustling with customers. The food is delicious and the service is quick. The only downfall is that the food is priced fairly high for a diner, but if you want a good quick bite in the area, this is the place to go.

Great new place in River North, the area needed another 24 hr spot popular with local college students after taco burrito king closed down. Beyond that, the food is pretty good and well priced, with a fun diner feel that really captures the atmosphere they were going for.

Clean, expansive menu, no fuss city diner. If you cant find something you want, Im sorry :) This has been a great addition to the neighborhood. They serve all menu items all day so its the no-brainer option when you want/need something quick.

Great new addition to the neighborhood. The portions are large, and the menu options robust. Breakfast or Lunch all day. There is not much for a waiting area though, so waiting with a large group or a stroller can be a challenge

This is one of my favorite places to eat, everything is delicious, but today my server Jaijaira completely ignored us. We ordered a coke and it was never brought, water wasnt refilled, and service was slow

Great ambiance, a bit slow on there service only saw my waitress twice to take my order and give check had to ask the manager for some more coffee the food was ok and a bit pricey ($20 for breakfast)

Classic diner and its 24/7. Serves alcohol at all times, a lot of room so the wait is never long if there is any, great menu and not terribly priced for downtown Chicago.
