I was very impressed! My husband and I brought a table full of customers along with us, and we spent fifty dollars for seven people to eat (some shared). The food was en pointe, on time, and plentiful! We will be back to keep trying their dishes, especially after seeing the orders around us! Other patrons had steaming seafood soups and piled-high potato noodles. Our table was spread with authentic sides like steamed rice, stir-fried tofu, pickled raddish, and fresh kimchi. Even their service was wonderful. Our hostess was quick and helpful, our waitress was attentive and preemptive with things like extra plates and refills, as well as responding quickly with the check. Please give them a try if youre interested in a home-fresh, Korean meal. Im looking forward to date night so we can try them again--my only regret is not trying them out in a smaller party to better savor the meal! --For supper? Head over early to miss the rush! Its a small dining room, so you may have to wait ten minutes or so if you catch the peak time.

I have been eating at this place since it was open. That means a batch of years before I even lived in this part of the country. But in the music world, on several tours, we would hear rumblings and rumors about this place and thought to ourselves, this is just too good to be true. Well, it is true and I have been eating there ever since. The family that runs it is amazing, and when you get to know them, you will pretty much be able to walk in and let them order for you. Just tell them if you have anything you dont like. I havent tried anything there in a decade that I dont like. Korea House is a Nashville treasure.

I love their food, okay? So its NOT Seoul Garden. But Ill put their food up against Seoul Garden any day. (And I love S.G.)! Oh another thing boys & girls, DONT get in no hurry, especially @ a Korean resturant, customarily Koreans take their time about an evening/afternoon of eating out. I know I lived there over 3 years. They are very proud & intelligent people and very serious about their food and the way its served. If you dont want or need a beer w/UR meal and youve a little time to kill, this is the place to eat Korean food on west side Nashville. Yum!!!!!

I wasnt sure what to expect when we stumbled upon this place on a Saturday afternoon. They have all their write-ups and awards posted in the window, so we decided to try it. It was pretty full at 4pm, which boded well. Maybe with a bit more guidance my friends and I would have found something amazing on the menu. All in all, though, I probably wouldnt go back. We got a few different things and everything was pretty bland. One thing I will say: the service was fast and the food was fresh.

Nashvilles ethnic food choices continues to grow. Some are good and some not so much. Korea House has been here for quite a while, and in that time its reputation has grown to be Nashville Premiere Korean food restaurant. Its a reputation which is well-deserved. From Bim Bim Bap to Scallion Pancakes to its excellent and generous portions of sides, this is one restaurant thats well worth the visit And with prices that are reasonable.

This may be the best Korean food restaurant in Nashville. The food is authentic, high quality, and prepared with pride. A Korean grandma cooks the meals in the back, and this maybe is why the quality is amazing. The service is better than average with friendly smiles and energy. Family owned and it shows. The locals are all smiles when dining in the restaurant. I certainly recommend this restaurant.

Ive lived in Korea for 4 years. Ive been back visiting my family here in the US for a few weeks now, and had a hankering for some Korean cooking. I went to this place today, and let me say, even though it was about 2-3 times more expensive than eating the same dishes in Korea, the flavor was excellent! Ive never had Korean food that tasty in Korea. Ill definitely recommend this place to others!

The food and the ambiance bring me back to the amazing meals wed eat in an old Korean church basement after worship Sundays as a child. The decor is unassuming because the quality of the food needs no masking. Its straight up authentic, amazing Korean food, second to none in Nashville. Theres a reason this place has been number 1 for 11 years straight!

A bit cramped and the décor leaves a little to be desired, but thats not why you come here. No, youre going here for the great food. The staff are always smiling, and on all but the busiest of nights the service is very quick. Personal favorite is the dolsot bibimbap, but everything weve had on the menu is very flavorful and delicious.

I called in before I head over to the restaurant, it was ready in about 15 minutes, packed a lot of snacks and they double checked my order before handed to me. The food was great! Loved the tofu soup the most but everything else was good too. Compare to other restaurant, it was cheap! I will come back when I travel here next time.

I just didnt really like it. Ive had Korean food plenty of times, and this just didnt do it for me. I ordered their pork bulgogi and it wasnt anything. There was a puddle of oil at the bottom of the plate. The pork wasnt marinaded and there was a sauce on the side that I guess I had to dip my little tiny bits of pork into. Meh.

Perfect location for a cold winter night gathering. Love the abalone & rice chowder. Very comforting. The ginseng chicken soup, to me is under seasoned. The sticky rice that stuffed in the chicken is soft but needs a little bit more flavor. Not too much hint of ginseng, though. The beef from the complementary dishes are tasty.

I am a regular customer here at Korea House, the waitress sees me at the door and starts my order before I even sit down, while I cant speak for its authenticity they have some of the best food Ive had in my life, when I have food cravings... its food from here. Very friendly, quick with a smile. I love my #19 Dish!

Ordered the yuk gae jung for lunch. Tasty but the bowl was smaller than normal. Side dishes are small and not refilled as traditionally done. Second rice bowl is extra charge. Soft drinks are served by can so "refills" are extra. Waitress never checked on me. Not bad but definitely nothing to write home about.

Not inexpensive, we had Kimchi stew and Bibimbap, solid. More complex dishes might be better, ie five star territory. Greatly enjoyed the Banchan selection. Music ranged nicely from Kpop to country to Louis Armstrong to Euro dance. Wish we had tried the dumplings, watched them being made after lunch.

I cant speak to the authenticity of the food, but it sure is delicious. The family that owns and operates Korea House is really nice and the service is great. They do well remembering their customers. The place is a bit shabby, but it adds to the experience. I go a couple times per month.

Got a beef dish and it came with barely any beef just rice soup and noodles, when I complained they acted retarded...didnt offer any more beef or a discount on the bill. Told the manager I was never coming back and hes like "okay bye" poor customer service. Not a happy experience
