Im not impressed. My husband and I have eaten at New Korea, twice recently. I was expecting some awesome Korean food based on the reviews, but Im disappointed...New Korea is one of two Korean restaurants in town, to my knowledge...The biggest dissapointment was the banchan (side dishes). The banchan wasnt fresh at all, especially the kimchi and the radish. Ive eaten some extra fermented kimchi and radish, but this seriously takes the cake. Also, the seasoning and flavors were just off the mark. Fresh, crisp, deliciously seasoned banchan will take you to a whole new level of appreciation for Korean food. The main dishes were good, but nothing to write home about. The service was great the first time around. It was an older woman with blonde highlights that served us for lunch. She was attentive and pleasant. The second time around, not so much. It was a younger woman, probably in her late 30s (dinner)...She wasnt very attentive or pleasant. She was busy watching tv and chatting to the customers she knew...while we waited on her to serve us, despite our attempts to flag her down. The restaurant is lucky that they dont have much competition in Clarksville.

New Korea restaurant is the best when going out to eat for Korean food. I spent 2 years in Korea and when I returned I wanted to have some traditional dishes. I was cautious at first but, now I eat at New Korea 4-5 times a month; sometimes more, usually for dinner. I have had the lunch buffet a few times as well. The buffet always looks fresh, and there has never been an issue of the food running out when Ive been in there. The food is very traditional; the spicy dishes are SPICY, just like in Korea. I recommend the Kimchi Bo Kum to anyone that likes spicy food. The service has always been great and the employees friendly. New Korea is a definite place to try if you want good, traditional Korean food.

Ive been eating here 20 years. I live south of Nashville and make it a, point to go eat here whenever I visit home. My father and I have actually made the hour and a half drive just to eat at New Korea. The servers are amazing and have watched me grow up.and they maker me feel right at home as son as I walk thru the dour. I recommend the Bbq Bugolgi, steamed mon du, and the hot and sour soup.they will all rock your Socks off!

This is the bulgogi I have had in several years, it is the closest to traditional that i have seen in a while. They are very friendly. I showed up one day 15 minutes before they opened and they allowed me to come in and review the menu while they prepared for opening. The best part is I have never gotten sick from their food which tells me they take care in the way the food is prepared. I actually am going to get some now.

BUFFET IS WEEKDAYS ONLY! My friend was told about this restaurant, and we made the trek up from Nashville on a Saturday only to discover the buffet is not an option on the weekends. Aside from this, we found the selection of traditional entrées good, and my bulgogi was some the most tender Ive ever had.

Always great food, banchan rocks! My wife loves the variety of veggie dishes while I enjoy the great, genuine dishes I recall from my 3yrs in Seoul. Bim Bim Bap is one of my favs...but you had better bring an appetite for that dish! I drive the 1.25hr routes as often as the wife will :)

I love love love this place. Amazing food every time. Everyone who works here is sweet as can be and so polite. The food is delicious, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is great as well. Who can beat a buffet this good and drink for less than 10$? Best Korean food in town!

Im currently living in korea, and when I came back to the states to visit family, I decide to look into having Korean food so I deiced to go here, food was MEH, not that great, but when I went to pay, it cost me $95! to feed three people.
