Really wanted to like this location. Well appointed interior, great coffee selection, though the food is a gamble. I usually stop in for a latté or flat white when I need to buy beans. Ordering coffee to go is fine, but table and bar service has been such an unnecessary hassle upon every visit. It would definitely be my preference to order at the register--i promise I wont skip out on gratuity--so that I dont have to wait 20 minutes for a coffee. Most recently I was seated for 15 minutes before someone returned to take my order. After almost 20 more minutes of waiting while the three staff members behind the bar were chatting and tasting their draught beers, I finally caught someones attention.

So happy Dose moved in around the corner from home - Ive loved the few times friends and family have stayed with me and weve walked up the street for breakfast or stopped in midday on a bike ride. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the food and drinks are great. Their breakfast BLT is super - a hoagy with creamy scrambled eggs, arugula, tomato and delicious house-made caramelized onion and bacon jam (dont worry, theres lots of bacon in it!)! Im not much of a coffee drinker but their lattes are yummy. Also, beignets!! Looking forward to trying their Irish coffee.

Update: I used to stop in twice a week for good coffee and a good muffin or pastry but the pastries just arent good anymore so I go get a muffin from Mikes now when I get a craving. The coffee is still good at least. Stopped in for the first time today. The cappuccino was great as was the vanilla bean scone. Staff was extremely friendly.

One the best espresso drinks I had in the US. The flat white was properly done and tasting notes were incredible, shows the pulled the perfect espresso. We had the biscuit sandwiches which also tasted excellent.

Had an amazing gluten free scone and a bottomless coffee. I didnt know what to make of the table service at first but enjoyed my table for a long time with no pressure and plenty of friendly check-ins.

Excellent espresso variety, superior breakfast sandwiches. The BLT was wonderful:arugala, chopped bacon and egg with sliced tomato. Rosemary buscuit with egg and ham. Yum!
