This was our first visit to Revelator Coffee. The environment is clean with interesting lighting and decor. Succulants dot the tables and a long wooden bench spans the entire length of the shop. We shared a mocha to see how it was. It had a nice simple, earthy taste (probably due to a more cocoa in the syrup than other shops weve been to). Not very sweet at all which was also nice. Simple and clean like the coffee shop itself. Nothing really wowed us, but we would definitely come back when we are in the area again. Also, the cups they have are more ergonomic than many other places I have been. EDIT: Since going a few more times, Im upgrading my review to 5 stars. Great staff and one of the better shots Ive had in a while.

This coffee place has very modern design (I love the design of their hot water take, I want one of those at home). Aside from that the staff is very friendly and it has a very pleasant atmosphere. The espresso that they serve is rather mild, at first I thought too mild, but a repeat espresso with milk made me come to the conclusion that it actually allows you to enjoy all the subtle flavors that interplay in this beverage. So I have become quite fond of it. They have a modest selection of pastries which are really good.

Really good espresso and pastries. The menu is limited and a little on the expensive side, however I dont mind paying because the food and drinks are high quality. The atmosphere is very strange. It has a very modern, clean look. At first I found it calming and then the more I sat there, I found it eerily bland. Good coffee though. Probably will go back

Though a bit pricey, the coffee was amazing! They took their time making it to ensure it was done correctly, when my son dropped his drink they smiled assured him it was ok, and made him another at no additional cost. Everyone there was kind, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. Will definitely be going back!

Over priced: $8 for a small coffee with 4shots Bad espresso: they either use automatic machines or just a bad roast Decent coffee: light and bright I liked it Nice aesthetic: the lighting and minimalist design. Overall being over priced with bad espresso is unforgivable to me.

I decided to post up and get some work done in Hillsboro village today. I knew Fido would be crazy so I stopped by Revelator. The brewed coffee was great, blackberry muffin really good, and service and atmosphere were top notch. Great Sunday morning working spot.

I enjoyed an excellent espresso and cappuccino along with the avocado toast. The meal was good, although some of the avocado was brown. The coffee, on the other hand, was superb! The clean and quiet interior is a good place to relax alone or with a friend.

Just stumbled into this gem of a coffee spot and the vanilla latte was very smooth. I highly recommend the avocado toast with sprouts! And the ham sandwich was delicious as well. The space is quiet, very comfortable and the service was very personable.

Overpriced, over-hippstered. Coffee is meh at best. I bought small latte and green tea and paid 8$ (?!). The place has strange sterile feel. Closes pretty early too. There are better places in the neighborhood to get coffee, dont waste your money.

Tea service was not true service. Killed the experience. Might need a lesson in tea etiquette especially if they are charging that much for a cup of hot tea. A little too sterile and not enough plugs for people to plug a laptop in at.#meh

This is a great coffee shop! They have some of the best black coffee I have had in Nashville! Make sure to get the pour over coffee if you have some time. Otherwise their drip coffee is good too. Nice aesthetic and a good staff!

The coffee they serve is very good. Its a bit mild but i like that. They also offer great pastries from Dosen and have recently expanded their menu. Its a good place to get some work done. Good wifi and friendly people.

Very minimalist if you like that kind of thing. It came off as more clinical to me, and the music felt like it was trying to brainwash me. The food was good, it wasnt great but it wasnt bad.

they didnt have a lot of options, including nonfat milk and were rude and snotty when i asked for it; also a pretty steep price for a latte. I payed about $7 for a 10oz mocha.

Good coffee + quiet and intimate setting. Great place to work or read at if you dont like the noise over at Fidos. Keep in mind that they close early at 5 pm.
