I have lived in Nashville for 18 years and for the past 10 this is the only Chinese place I go. They DO answer their phone, because that is the only way I order (unless Im their for their wonderful cost conscious lunch time buffet). I usually get the bean curd home style (tofu w/veggies and white rice), crap rangoons, and veggie rolls. Ive also had the sweet and sour shrimp. Even when I lived on the other side of town I couldnt find a place that held a candle to this one and would drive out of my way to pick up my food. Only one down side...no delivery.

This place is a convenient place to order from. They make everything fresh and quickly. Sometimes the rice seems a little oily, but honestly most Chinese takeout places in the south are like that and the establishments make what the customers want. I have never had a bad meal but some have been better than others. I will say that the inside is much cleaner than many other take out places around town. The people are friendly and they do a good amount of business from what I can tell.

Ive been getting takeout from this restaurant for almost five years now, and Ive never had a bad experience. Thats saying a lot for a Chinese takeout place. The food always tastes fresh, and the staff has always been friendly. Chinese takeout in Nashville can be like playing roulette -- more times than not, youll get a box of dried-out sludge or meat that tastes like the cooking oil hasnt been changed in months. China Spring isnt like that. Their vegetables are also fresh.

Ive been going to China Spring for 8 years and I love this place! in 2013 I noticed the original owner was no longer there, so Im assuming someone else took over. The people that work there are okay, definitely miss the previous owner, he was much friendlier and so was the staff! Other than that I absolutely love the food!

So i used to think this place was right my alley for some good Chinese food but i decided to sit down for the buffet and a big roach come walk out from the buffet bar now im turn off... if theyre letting roachs walk around the buffet what else are they walking around eww disgusting

Took my wife out for lunch and definitely not coming back. No AC it was hotter than hell in there. No condiments and no drink refills. We are not coming back!!!

Solid place. 3 star due to the fact that they hardly ever answer their phone. Walking in may be the best solution if near by.

If you like Sweet n Sour chicken this place make some of he best I have ever had. Highly recommend, plus they are very kind.
