I came in to bar Louie and fist noticed a nice upscale atmospher. Then you meet your servers and instantly your at Hooters only it cost more. Nothing on the menu seems origanal. The portions are inconsistent. The staff are very friendly, my bar tender was very attentive. They do have a decent beer and liquor selection. Beers are ok priced $5-$8 bucks. The food not so much not inpressed, with being in the avenue and all. The park sliders seemed like a good unique choice, but the buns where cold the portion of ,grilled and oily not breaded, chicken was frustratingly small and over seasoned with,and Im guessing, Cheyenne pepper. The fries where ok on my plate. They where golden brown a little greasy. But then my wifes where pale and funny tasting, like cold oil. So needless to say but 3 stars is all I think I can give till I see some improvements. Oh and dont get me wrong I love hot ladys in short shorts but it just dont fit with the style. So I will say goose bar but not an all around great place.

I walked into the bar today for lunch around 2pm and stood at the front for 10 minutes waiting to be seated or even acknowledged! No hostess was up front and I only saw one waitress on the floor. The bartender saw me standing there and he kept going back and forth behind the bar (doing nothing from what I could see because there were 4 people max at the bar) and he did not bother to ask if I needed anything! Ex.: would you like to be seated?; how may I help you?; would you like to order to go??? Something???:He said absolutely NOTHING to me! I just as well could have been transparent to him! I was furious after wasting 10 minutes of my lunch standing there to not even get as much as a "How can I help you?" Honestly, this was the ultimate of POOR SERVICE! And I was sooo hungry!... I traveled my hungry butt right on over to MiMis Cafe and got a great meal and EXCELLENT service!

The menus and table were both sticky. The food was way over priced for what you get. We got the Nacho Libre, and it was $16. It was not worth it. At all. We left thinking, "How in the world were they able to mess up nachos?" With one other appetizer and only two drinks, our meal was just shy of $50. We should have kept our money for a nice night out, not this. The waitress was nice enough, but nonexistent. When she did talk to us, we think she was trying to drum up more business for their eclipse party. Also, the sound system was bad. PLEASE go somewhere else. Not even worth taking pictures to share here.

I try really hard on a regular basis to like this place, but man, its difficult to be quite honest. I dont mind going out and dropping 100+ on a meal and drinks, but the liquor selection is subpar, the beer lines obviously arent cleaned regularly and the food has a variable consistency of great to terrible. Again, I am far from a pessimist, but I just cant seem to like this place. Its an overpriced middle aged middle class hangout. Hit them up on the nights the have specials or just dont even bother. The Boro has too many great restaurants to waste your time trying to love a bad one.

Very nice restaurant/bar. We went on a Saturday morning for lunch. It was a nice day so one side of the restaurant was open to the outdoors. They have some tables outside but we sat inside on a high top. Service is very quick and friendly. Food is wonderful. We shared the chips with the salsa, guac and queso dip. My husband and I shared the fish tacos which were amazing. My daughter didnt like her mac and cheese very much but she is a picky eater. They have a brunch every Saturday and Sunday. We will definitely be back to try that out.

Crappy service if you are a female. Was a frequent customer for 3 months until I couldnt take it any longer. The female bartenders cater only to the male customers. They are snobby, have bad attitudes & are full of drama. To be honest, most of them shouldnt be wearing those shorts either ... downright disgusting! Business needs to replace catty, immature bartenders with professional bartenders who act mature and it would do them well to change the waitresses dress code to reflect their clientele!!

Great food and drinks no complaints there. Just service is poor. I have been coming here after work at least twice a week. Every time I come in, the servers and bartenders almost competely ignore me. I will say that I may one prompt greet and get my drink order in.. and thats about it. When I get a server they are short and rude with me. Is it because I am young?I know not every visit will be perfect just want hospitality.

If you are older than 40 you have to beg for any kind of service. Clearly trying to apeal to a younger crowd. Just getting in a drink order on a slow night Ill torture. Gave it two tries, but got the same results. Both nights they were out of menu items. Anthony the feed seems to all be from a can off the back of a Cisco truck. Mostly they seem to be relying in scantily clad young ladies to bring in their clients.

This is my favorite bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back yet upscale. The staff is friendly and the food is incredible. Jasmine is the best server there so definitely ask for her! Also, I like this place because even if youre not drinking alcohol, just eating or hanging out, it isnt weird. I dont always want to drink alcohol but I may want their delicious veggie wrap!

Bar Louie has so much potential to be greater than ordinary "bar food" but they just cant seem to pull it off. Ive been there about a dozen times over the last couple years and the quality of the same dish can vary wildly. Atmosphere and service is pretty decent, but dont set your expectations very high. Time to pull this place out of my lunch rotation.

Unimpressed. Arrived 15 minutes before the end of happy. Waited 13 minutes for a waitress. She came to the table and said we were good. We put in our order and all was well. 10 minutes after happy hour ends, she tells is its too late. A 10 drink, and 5 appetizer order drops too a few drinks. A loss of our confidence and a lot to their revenue. Shame.

Ordered the Ahi Poke would five it 2.5 stars simply because I really enjoy authentic lunch I and theirs is not. Service was like any other food chain. Atmosphere was nice and the music was nice but there was flies everywhere around the bar. Probably wouldnt return again.

The food is always a hit or miss, the service is always poor. I dont expect the waitress to come around every 5 minutes, but at least check on us once in a while. Never got a drink refill because it took her 10 mins just to get me the first sweet tea.

Excellent quality chain. Nice style for a chain. Quality food, semi-interesting. Good bar selection. Great TV placement for watching sorts but not being in your face all the time. Attentive staff. Late night food too!! +++
