First time was incredible and the server was on point (guy with long beard) Second time was an embarrassment. We come in at 9:30 on a friday night and stand in the front for a few minutes when a nice lady came by to seat us. She asked if we were eating because she didnt know if their kitchen was closed... I asked what time does the kitchen close she said 11. The manager was by us and said she would check. On the way back she saw a group of her friends and engaged conversation. We all stood there for over 10 mins from begining to end to have the girl at the front recommend us to mellow mushroom or another restaurant since thr manager was clearly not coming back to amswer our question. I have never been turned away at a restaurant in that fashion. Im just thankful it was my wife and i and not someone we refereed there. If they dont want our business they wont get it nor will we refeer this place again. Its sad that customer service is going to ruin this place that is really neat and has decent food.

Local microbrewery with pub grub. Very busy on a Friday night, but still only took us about 10 minutes to get a table. Wait staff was spot on, very attentive, knew the beers and was able to provide additional descriptions of the food. Restaurant is small, filled with paintings of people with animal faces, with a very relaxed atmosphere. We had the appetizer of Hummus with edamame and ginger with Kolsch beer. Both were excellent. We then tired the trio of Brats and Fish-n-Chips. Both were excellent. Service from the kitchen was fast, and everything was delivered hot to the table. Our server made sure he was on top of anything we needed. Very pleasant experience - we will definitely go back again.

The service has definitely improved since my first time eating at White Squirrel, but even prior to that it was still an extremely enjoyable experience. The drinks and beer selection are on point. Would highly recommend any burger on the menu, the hot chicken, or the pork belly appetizer. Theyve also got a cup of bacon....who doesnt love that? Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it is well worth it! The patio is undergoing renovations at this time so the wait has been a little longer than usual, so I would recommend getting there before the dinner rush or later on around 8pm.

A nice addition to the Bowling Green food scene. Eclectic laid-back atmosphere, excellent beer selection, and great food. We had fish and chips, the mango burger, and a bacon cup - all were excellent! Service was quick and friendly. The only negative I have is that the want to put jalapenos on literally everything. There were only a handful of items that didnt have them in some form or fashion. Overall we had a great experience. It may be ran by hipsters, but the crowd is varied; dont be scared off by the beards! Lol

Decor is run down. Music is lame and on repeat. Place is tiny, very little parking. Parking behind the building is rough and full of sink holes. Nothing is marked. I suppose if your an alcoholic you might enjoy the beer. The food is not worth the wait time. You can get better food and tables at other sports bars. They have random pillows here and there to sit on instead of the uncomfortable benches. Anyone who gives a good review is clearly 5 bottles into a 6 pack already.

Visited White Squirrel May 13 with granddaughter & hubby to celebrate g.daughters WKU graduation. Waiter gave exceptional service, pulled pork sliders, kale chips for starters were excellent. Entrees of fish/chips and smoked gourmet baloney sandwich with cuke relish on sour dough buttered/grilled bread was delish & outside the box different. Met the chef and other employees, must say all very friendly and hospitable. What a unique atmosphere, unique food, great service!!!

Beer was excellent. Menu choices were just plain weird! Each thing we looked at started out sounding good but they threw in some ridiculous item that would have ruined it! The burgers werent really burgers and all of them had those weird ingredients. The only thing that was recognizable was the fish and chips - we had it and it was AWFUL! I would recommend going here for a beer or two either before or after eating in a better restaurant!

Great place, great ambience. Food was unusual and very delicious...we had the bacon cup and two burgers...hot jam and chirozo. The jam one was sticky and messy, but yummy and the fresh beef flavour shone through. The chorizo was nice and spicy, and again fresh beefy goodness. Beers were good and varied. I liked the in house pale ale...nice hops flavour. My husband had the nut brown...refreshing.

Fantastic. Food was some of the best Ive had. I praise the chef, Hannah Coffee. I had the black bean and sweet corn burger with kale chips. My boyfriend had the BBQ pork sliders and they were great. I kinda wish the bartender was more engaging but she was nice. We tasted their beers and they were OK. We drank west 6th out of Lexington. All in all we will be back when we come to BG.

Kitchen doesnt open until 4 PM on Sundays. Would have been nice to know since we drove 2+ hours specifically to eat here. The host was rude and said it wasnt his problem that we drove that far to eat there. Will not be going back. Check out double dogs about 1 mile down the road. Better service and less sketchy of a location.

The beer was much much better than i expected! However, its a bit on the pricey side. The barrel aged Porter was out of this world! Food selection is very unique. I sure wasnt expecting such a variety of eclectic items to choose from! Will definitely return, but probably during happy hour.

Amazing service. You might wait for a seat, but I swear it is worth it. All of their craft brews bring an amazing and unique taste that any beer lover will love. Not to mention the food. The weekly specials are an artistic expression of a skilled culinary master. You will not be disappointed.

A few of us went here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. I had the hot chicken which was very tasty along with their nut brown beer. Service was great and the Chef clearly cared a lot about the place since she made the rounds.

They have an excellent selection of their own brews as well as some good guest taps. And an excellent menu. We had the duck confit pizza and it was excellent. I wish wed been in town longer so I could have gone again.

Honestly one of the best meals Ive had in my entire life, no exaggeration. I got the spicy chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the chorizo burger both were out of this world. Our waiter was also very friendly.

Great beers, great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Was just passing through from Ohio on our way to Memphis, but this place was so good, I will make sure I stop here as much as possible in the future!

Outstanding food. Solid beer with rotating handles from other breweries. Live music on the night I came really set the atmosphere along with the art on the walls. Great stop for someone visiting Mammoth Cave.
