Stood in line for 20min mainly the fault of a group of 8 that did not know what the wanted to order only to sit for 40 minutes to find out that they did not know what happened to my order. I do know what happened though they gave it to another person who complained because his order was wrong after. Correcting his they then tried to give me the food they took from him. People say the chicken is good but I would not know because after waiting for almost an hour and them trying to give me food that been on another customers table I asked for a refund and left. I would hate to see this place when busy because there was not 20 people in the restaurant I will not be returning Im a Hattie Bs fan for life they can have a line out the door and around the block and they are faster and dont forget your order.

I so want to leave a good remark but this being my first time at this place and to a hot chicken place in general beside Guss Fried chicken in Memphis( the best tasting). Staff was very nice and helped me make my choice. Very polite and funny. I got breast and wing and fries southern style. And another of same sprinkled with mac and cheese. I have worked in kitchens many years so I know what Im tasting to be correct. The oil used to fry was extremely old and made for a bad burnt flavor. Inside of chicken was moist. I felt the spice and whatever they put on it along with the burnt crispy skin was enough for me to toss my second to go order. Would I go back, prolly not. As much as they fry,these fryers need to be strained everyday and changed out every other.

Hot chicken and Red Velvet Waffles is to die for. Scorcher heat level works best for this, in my opinion. The heat levels above this are no joke, and I love spicy food. You were warned! Ive also had the Inferno and Purgatory levels, and wow. I think Scorcher has the best traditional hot chicken flavor, although its what I would call a medium spicy. Darned good, though! The menu is huge. Hot chicken, hot fish, hot burger (yes!), hot chicken nachos, burrito, salad, smoked chicken, etc. It goes on and on. And sides - they have the best sides selection of any hot chicken joint. The Gouda Mac & Cheese is delicious. Dont forget to order a banana pudding cake for dessert! It magically takes away the burn, plus it is crazy good.

OH native here, and I could barely handle the mild Southern Spicy. But it had such great flavor! Both the chicken and catfish were delicious, and I was impressed by the grilled sourdough bread. At home, when I order fish, it comes on a couple soggy slices of white. My 5 year old didnt like his side and they brought us a replacement. My husbands ribs were very tender. The greens, cole slaw, and sweet potatoes were great. We left full and happy after a fun conversation with the owner challenging my teenager to come back and try even hotter sauce. Thus was a nice relaxing meal to break up a long road trip.

A cozy new offering for us here in the Goodlettsville and surrounding area thats worth a try if youre interested in trying "Nashville Hot Chicken" without the fuss of Nashville and Nashville parking! I tried this awesome spot for Nashville hot chicken week a few weeks ago and it set me on fire lol they have very low key heat options as well for the weak at heart. The family that owns this place are sweethearts and you can tell that they love sharing a good meal with everyone that walks into this establishment. I loved every bite and they were oh so friendly.

I eat out almost every day and always go for the hottest sauce everywhere I go. This is on my top 5 of my newest place to eat when Im in the area . Loved the BURN.........I had THE END! It was the hottest chicken Ive ever ate in Nashville. No one else tops it NOT HATTIE BS,PRINCESS HOT CHICKEN, BUFFALO WILD WINGS,HOTTERS, or any lil chicken place thats in Nashville that I know of. If you find something hotter than THE END AND EAT WITH ME ILL BUY THE MEAL!!!!!!!

What can you say about a restaurant that, not only has the best chicken around but, the best staff! They treat you like family and you enjoy your time with them. To top it off, the food is homemade, to be the best. No other way around it. It is the place to go (not too many people, though. Then I wont be able to get in.) :-) My family and I go through withdrawals if we do not get our Slow Burn every so often. It is absolutely the best!!

This place is ridiculous. I live in Nashville and love Hattie Bs and Pepperfire - but this place blows them out of the water. The chicken is incredibly juicy, their sweet potato casserole is considered a side but should be a dessert because it is amazing, and the customer service is great. Theyll talk to you, theyre nice, theyll come pick up your used plates. Lastly, I had the banana pudding cake - after I ate it, I left saying "wow".

Best food, great staff (get used to "Yall want any MORE water?"). High quality hot chicken; DO NOT BE A HERO. Spicy starts at around "singe" level and they have three more beyond that; know your bounds then go one below that. Mid-range price but a serving could feed two. Try the fried okra and sweet potato fries for sure. Im a visitor but wish I was a regular at Slow Burn

Im a chef at old hickory country club and i tried the end me and my sous chef we both though we bit into the sun but good flavor but the southern spicy is the way to go i make pretty damn good chicken but my hat goes off to marlon you doin your thing i came in there a few days ago and my daughter told you my daddy said he can eat hot chicken

I think I could have handled more heat than the just a sprinkle provided, but I sampled the medium my friend had and it was hot. I did like the flavor of the medium though, reminded me of hot and spicy bakenets pork rinds. I wanted to get the mac and cheese but they ran out right as I ordered, the sweet potato fries were good though.

My favorite hot chicken restaurant in the city. One of the reasons theyre my favorite is because they have so much more than just excellent hot chicken. With a varied, expansive menu, theres something for everyone at Slow Burn. The Reeds are also very warm, friendly and always make you feel welcome. Great place.

Hands down amazing chicken!! 2 piece white meat, with singe heat was perfect! The bread underneath was astounding! & Mac & cheese is a must, as well! Husband had the southern heat & hot! All great flavors! All food is made once ordered, so order online or wait in the casual dining room!! Truly amazing staff!!

Best hot chicken in Nashville by far. They are about 15-20 minutes from downtown Nashville, but well worth the ride. They are on some delivery services if you dont want to drive and/or visiting Nashville, you need to have it. You will not be disappointed. Great, down to earth friendly staff and owners.
