Im from Las Vegas and came to visit Lebonon Tennessee for a week and was craving sushi, Sushi Max was the nearest one from me so I had to try it! I had called before to see if they had some sort of happy hour and I was answered in a very rude way "no happy hour here"! I didnt judge considering the fact that maybe the weather was giving bad reception. Then we decided to come in and give it a try. Pretty much my friend and i ordered a couple rolls at a time, she had taken 1 menu as we told her we would like to keep the other... shortly after we got our order, she took our other menu and I had told her we werent finished ordering then, we were told we had to hurry and order whatever else we wanted or else they couldnt take anyone elses order, I was shocked as in thats how it worked. Not only for the way they ran things "which I understand" but the way we were told as if we were cheated out of our meals and felt extremely rushed to leave.

The worst sushi ever! It was low quality Chinese buffet sushi not "the best sushi in the world." I came to Lebanon for Import Alliance and decided to try sushi and this was closest to our hotel. Right when we walked in the lady dressed as a geisha seated us at a 2 person table when we walked in with 3 people and gave us an attitude. Then she tried to rush us with ordering and forgot one of our sushi rolls and still charged us for it. Very small sushi for the price and seafood was not fresh! Do not eat here its a waste of money!

Food is good but service is horrible.... Their hours are so limited dont ever think you can just drop by and get some sushi.... I left my keys there and called to see if they could check for me, they hung up on me.... I called back thinking they did not just hang up on me and they hung up again. No going above and beyond for them....

Really good sushi, tea is amazing, as well as the soup. The owners keep the place really clean, and the dish-ware is really cool. Overall: I was honestly surprised how Lebanon can give me such a genuine Japanese sushi experience.

It is what it looks like when u pull up a little hole in the wall kinda place food was small for prices but I do say what little was brought was moderate nothing big but worth going if better atmosphere and better prices.

I have eaten sushi all over the united states and several other countries, sushi max has absoulutely the best sushi Ive ever had! If you are within an hour of Nashville, TN you absoulutely have to try this resturaunt!
