Dont let my opinion sway you from trying it yourself. I came inaround 1245 on a friday and it wasnt busy at all. We all know youre here to hear about the food and experience so lets cut to the chase. I had the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen and for an appetizer I picked up some tokoyaki octopus dumplings. Lets rate the tokoyaki first: Solid 4/5 Came out fresh and not volcano hot. The bonito flakes were a good addition but there were just too much of it on top (for those who dont know Google what they are). The name is misleading since it said dumpling. Its more like a fried hushpuppy with octopus inside and sauce to dip it on. And finally the Ramen: 3/5 for me, 4/5 for the area (carmel,IN) Ramen itself was a bit tough (maybe it didnt cook long enough), soup was good. Pork belly (chashu) wasnt standard on any ramen and was actually pretty overflavored (too much soy sauce). The broth however is what saves this bowl of Japanese goodness. The right flavors were there. If youre not a garlic fan id recommend staying away from tonkotsu. Overall an average place for ramen in my opinion. Ive had better in Salt lake city, Denver, and Vegas.

Kind of terrible....but, it was right after their power was turned back on after the crazy wind this past Saturday. Also, it was opening night. Then since they werent sure if they were going to re-open...food was thrown out and some staff was sent home. A lot of the items on the menu were unavailable and there seemed to be a lot of confusion in the kitchen. However, this place has potential. I know this is another chain in Carmel, but the food is good and there are not many noodle bars in the area. Ill go back and hope for a better experience.

Very disappointed in the vegetarian ramen. Was extremely bland even after I added spices and sauces that were at the table. I ordered the spicy version of the ramen too and it wasnt even slightly spicy. I asked my friends to try mine to make sure it wasnt just me and sure enough they werent impressed either. The noodles also seemed a little over cooked right as I got it. The vegetable tempura was okay but again, bland. Probably wont be coming back because I was disappointed at the taste for how much it costed all together.

For a first time visitor I didnt quite know all the details about what I was getting into. I would recommend asking the staff some questions if you are new to Ramen. I cant say much about the quality or taste since this was my first exposure. However, the brothy ramen experience isnt one that fits my tastes. I did eat most all of my meal, but thought it was fairly expensive for what I got. Dont make a decision based on my review, just not my cup of tea. Others around us were ranting and raving.

I loved the food here! The price is a couple dollars above what I would like to pay, but there is certainly quality that goes along with it. I really enjoyed the Vegetable Ramen here, as it was cheaper and felt like it was more on the healthy side. I would also recommend NOT getting the "fish cake" as a topping. This is not your standard fried fish cake, it is barely any food and did not have a taste at all. With all of that said, I will surely go here again to try other Ramen out!

This place just opened and has a sign on the door saying "soft opening, please excuse us as we work things out" - so these complaints on wait times are just entitled Carmelites. This is the best Ramen I have ever had! All the food is amazing. Yes, it is often packed, so prepare for a wait if you are coming at high-traffic times. The veggies are fresh, the meat is expertly prepared, the broth is rich and balanced, and the noodles are heavenly.

Pretty good restaurant. The decor and atmosphere are nice. The tuna onigiri were delicious. I was leaning towards the pork belly chashu shoyu ramen but the waitress suggested the chicken instead. I think I would have been happier with the pork. The broth was excellent though and the ramen was pretty good. I had the green tea mochi ice cream for dessert and that was great. I liked it even more than the ones my wife and I buy from Trader Joes.

I love maruchan ramen. This is not that, its better, more flavorful, with better atmosphere with an authentic Japanese feel. Ive tried all of their ramen offerings, and I stick with the spicy ramen. The Garlic Tonkatsu is number two to try, also the chicken karrage has a delicious citrus glaze that will keep you coming back. When you first enter, everyone greets you at once, as you leave everyone thanks you for your visit!

Finally a restaurant that provides genuine and exceptional quality international cuisine! The atmosphere is fresh, energetic, and friendly. The food is comforting, flavorful, and nourishing. The chefs RISE ABOVE being polluted by American food fads, shortcuts, and lazy standards. I highly recommend experiencing Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, if your palate can appreciate delicious dishes of culture and authenticity!

Generally authentic dishes on the menu, if not necessarily in execution. Attractive contemporary atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. Disappointed in the takoyaki as the dumplings appeared to be deep-fried, and were definitely undercooked inside. Broths are competent, but nothing to get excited about. Reasonable prices. Overall serviceable Japanese, dressed up as a bit more.

From order to table, the meals arrive quickly so come hungry. I recommend upgrading the meat to pork belly if you want tender, flavorful pork. Cost for Ramen dishes are reasonably priced and the Izakaya items are delicious as they are easy on the wallet, allowing you to enjoy a couple of small entrees before the meal or chow down exclusively on them.

Long wait even on weekdays, but worth it. I wouldnt say its the most authentic ramen but close. Broth makes it less authentic, but the noodle is so freshly made which makes it close to authentic. Their chicken karaage is amazing. Must order one. Ambiance wise, a bit too loud, but you wont need to talk anyways from slurping those noodle.

Ate twice so far, had the Shio Ramen once and Miso the other time. Both times were delicious. Second time with Miso meat was left out but I didnt notice until I was more than half-way through it -- it was excellent even without the meat. After telling the manager they took several dollars off our bill. Highly recommended!

Best Japanese Ramen place in Indy. Great soup base and noodles. Had to say the rice, pork belly and greenonion cut are not that authentic if you have been to other Ramen place in NYC or SF. Still its nice to have a places where you can have tonkusu, shio and many other options for Ramen.

美味い。 日本の平均的ラーメンよりも美味い。 特濃ニンニク豚骨ラーメンは名前の通り濃厚。 マー油がのっていた。 $2で替え玉ができる。麺の種類を選べる。

Not bad at all for Indianapolis area. Actually tasted better than some Ramen places in Chicago and Toronto! Definitely be back,we need more ethic food around here. The design of this place is superb! I tried miso ramen and spicy ramen. Both were good and balanced flavors.

Ive actually been to a few of these franchises in Japan and it holds up to the expectation. Its probably the best ramen place in Indiana so give it a shot. Obviously, it cant beat the real deals abroad, but it holds its own for a decent price and attentive staff.
