I grew up near Kingsport and Italian Village was always my favorite. After high school I moved away and have lived all over the US and been around the world and have tried pizza many places and none are as good as Italian Village in my opinion. Their crust is perfect on both their Sicilian style thick crust and their standard thin crust pizzas. The pizza sauce is thick with a robust tomato flavor and the perfect amount of tanginess and spices. Their strombolis, calzones, and sandwiches are also very good. I highly recommend the steak special sandwich. The only negatives are that they are located inside the Fort Henry Mall, but you can use the rear entrance located behing JC Penny. Also, their seating is very tight especially for larger people. But the food far outweighs the negatives. Their prices are very reasonable. The service is decent for the type of restaurant. You order and pay at the counter and pick up your order when they call your number, much like a New York style joint.

I am a New Yorker...and I know NY pizza....this place is as close as it gets to NY pizza...this is the kind of place you go out of your way for just to get not just good pizza ...but great pizza...this has the thin crust that is crunchy like pizza is supposed to be not like card board......you want good NY pizza ...then go here its worth the trip ....we live in JC and drive out of our way to this place just for the pizza ...talking about it makes me want some guess I know where Im eating tomorrow

Looks like a hole in the wall... Locals would call this a Rinki dink place....wait till you get your pizza, or your super fresh salad.....or the tuna fish salad platter...then you sit down and enjoy your food to the fullest....always busy, real Italien business flavor and the food is affordable too....way to go!!

As a Kingspot citizen, there are two things I look forward to every Sunday; one being church and the other being the Italian villages hot ham and cheese sandwich. There is no better Italian quinine in Kingsport except the brother Store in colonial height, Raffaeles.

This place has been around since I was very little. My mom loves this place. I recently started going back and its soo amazing! My child and I always get the spaghetti or a pizza. The only bad thing about this place is the prices, otherwise we would go more often.

Over the years Italian Village has been a favorite place to take my kids for pizza. Lots of people love this place so there are times you will have to wait but its worth it. Awesome service awesome food.
