This is my third experience at Dominics with mixed results. The first time I went to this restaurant it was for take out on a Sunday and the pizza was great. The pizza was very large and the quality was good. I was the only one in the store but the cashier seemed to be disappointed that I had disturbed her cigarette that she was smoking when I walked past her outside. On the second visit we went with a larger group and even though the service was slow and the pizza was not as good as my first visit the food was good. We had used a coupon but after we left the restaurant we realized that we had not been credited for the discount. Last night we went back at 7:30 on a Saturday. The restaurant was half full with one large group (12) taking up most of the other part of the restaurant. We were seated quickly and given menus. We sat there for 45 minutes while waitresses walked all around us but scurried away before taking even our drink order. Finally one of the tables around us left so while a waitress was clearing their table I said in a loud enough volume to be heard that if we were not served in 5 minutes we were leaving. She finished the table and again scurried away without assisting us. We got up to leave but on our way out we bumped into both onwers. Mrs Dominc looked appoletically with us and muttered a "sorry" when she realized we were leaving without being served. We bumped into Dominic outside the restaurant who was straightening the seats outside on the sidewalk. He asked us how our food was and when we explained that we couldnt even be served his response was "Maybe next time." I get the feeling from these folks that they think their product is good enough that they dont have to be concerned with service. If you want better pizza for take out try Tomato Joes down on Waters. There is no where to sit at Joes and the place is a "hole in the wall" but the pizza is better than Domincis and believe it or not they will even serve you.

I love Italian food, good Italian food. I have lived pretty much all over the place, and I am always looking for a good place to eat and treat my visitors. I went there for the first time for dinner, after I checked it during the day to see if it was something I would feel proud of taking a guest. We order our drinks. First one, I got my beer, no glass, no problem. However, the restaurant had a large clientele at the moment, so I requested a glass. The answer: "the dishwashers are behind with the washing, so there is no glasses washed?. Hummm, let it fly. We were starving, so we asked for appetizers and in the meantime, we would like to get some rolls or something. Rolls, bread, or any sort of dough never showed up. We asked for Chicken Marsalla. Horrible, we had to return it. We also had meat lovers pizza.........I should have stuck with Papa Johns. My guest, run out of wine, and not once were we asked if we wanted more drinks. The rolls arrived with our check. The whole experience was totally horrible and I would never go back there again. Wonder how they keep in business. Left a big tip for the waiter, wasnt her fault. Bad, bad experience, never again!

Hands down the worst pizza experience I have ever dealt with; between the inept staff and the indifferent store manager I could not define a better typecast for a dysfunctional, incompetent and egregious company. I ordered a pizza and wings; was told it would be 45 minutes; 1.5 hours later we called the company and was told the delivery person was on the way; pizza and wing were cold and mushy; called back and was told I would get a call back from the store manager; 30 minutes later I called them back and was put on hold for 10 minutes before I was hung up on; called back and was greeted by the store manager who was uncaring and only concern was to get me off the phone. Will NEVER come back here again and suggest others do the same.

I like Dominics. The food has always been very good and the service is good to average and predictable. It is a locally owned place by NYC transplants which explains the "attitude" another commenter posted about. I do not like the NYC attitude either but havent ever really experienced it at Dominics. I have found the owners to be friendly enough. The atmosphere is clean/casual/with some Italian decor -- but not the tacky stuff you see in a lot of dumpy Italian places. This is not a place for a "hot" date as it is located in a strip mall on a major highway, but a second or third date would be okay here as your date will be satisfied with the good food!

Im not sure how the food taste.......bc it never came. Ordered online from there website and waited patiently for delivery. Once an hour and half past, we finally called to see where our food was bc we had kids hungry also. The man who answered just said they never got the order and sent us on our way bc they were about to close. After waiting so long and receiving an email confirmation of my order, Im pretty disappointed that they had no desire to make things right. I then had to try and find another location to eat at and order and wait again.

WARNING- food poisoning with severe gastrointestinal problems. Not only was the pizza horrible but the Owner was blatantly rude and refused a refund but did offer to send me another nasty pizza which I quickly denied. I still cant get over how rude the owner was to me. Dont waste your hard earned money here, its not worth it. Dont get me wrong I LOVE all pizza but this pizza is a total joke with no flavor at all and a waste of money. You are better off buying a frozen pizza from the grocery store. I would recommend Anthonys Pizza or Jets Pizza.

No stars for this place at all. We ordered a medium regualr cheese pizza with extra cheese and garlic nots and we got a pizza with cheese and sausage. We called back and said we got the wrong order, lady on the phone was very rude and tried to tell us what we were saying was wrong and that who ever took the order was right when we never said we wanted suasage at all. Then she proceeded to tell us we lied to her about what we wanted, got very rude with us on the phone and then hung up on us. 10/10 would NOT RECOMMEND.

I have been going to Dominics for quite some time and have ALWAYS enjoyed myself and their exquisite food, namely their pizza. Its a shame that most people tend to associate good pizza with that of logo portraying a red roof. I have tried a lot of pizzerias in the area and both the quality and the taste you get from Dominics far surpasses any place I have previously attended. I HIGHLY recommend Dominics to anyone who wishes to put their taste buds to use.

Absolutely amazing every time I go! Anyone who had a bad experience here must be grumpy as the servers always have a smile and bubbly personality, especially Sam! She makes it feel like moms kitchen and your right at home. Wings are out of this world delish and full of meat. The pizza is always on point and absolutely original with toppings I would have never imagined to work on a pizza. Overall, 5 star food. 5 star service. Bravo!
