I used to like this place, eat here often. The spaghetti bolognese used to be excellent. Unfortunately the last spaghetti bolognese I had there last time was awful to my taste - not a bit like it was before, in every respect. Waitress also brought the soup appetizer and entree all at the same time - exactly opposite to what I had requested. Guaranteed to let most of the food go cold while I had the soup, then the appetizer. She never apologized- instead she argued with me in an attempt to justify this kind of service. The service used to be excellent. May have been a change in the kitchen and wait staff - dont know. In any case, I wont be back. In my opinion, there are better options available in Asheville, thankfully.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I paid $11.50 for lamb platter...it had less meat than a $5 gyro sandwich from the take out place, and what little meat they gave me was drier than dirt!!!. The last time I was here I got a chicken sandwich that was over $10 and it was practically the size of a White Castle slider...I could see if the quality of the food was outstanding they could get away with such small portions, but the food isnt even that great. The roasted vegetable that came with the platter consisted of bell pepper, onion and sweet potato...the cheapest vegetable they can offer...and WHAT kind of GREEK dish comes with sweet potato??? I will never eat here again.

Tried Pomodoros in South Asheville for the first time, had a terrible experience and will never eat there again. Aside from being understaffed and slow, the calamari was burned and hard from being fried too long and was inedible. The sugar atop of the blueberry creme brulee wasnt melted and tasted like grit. We asked for the manager who came over to the table and annoyingly said, "I saw the one you sent back in the kitchen. But I had a creme brulee earlier that came from the same batch, and I have never had one complaint before". Will never eat there again.

I eat here alot for networking events, the staff is always friendly and efficient, Im impressed with how they always keep up with our large group. Some of my favorite things to eat here are the grouper wrap, new england clam chowder (when its the soup of the day), and their greek salad. The restaurant has a very open concept and can get quite noisy at lunch, but overall its a great place for date night, business lunches or casual dining.

One of my favorite restaurants. Huge portions, delicious ingredients, and a lovely staff. Ive been coming here for about 4 years and I think there was only one incident of an unfriendly waiter, everyone else has always been so accommodating and professional. Their Greek Salad is the best Ive ever had. Calming atmosphere too. Pomodoros is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy quality food without breaking bank.

The lamb was dry and overcooked, the portions were very small. Wife ordered chicken pita and it had no seasoning, the fries that came with her plate were such a small portion it was laughable. We ordered a pizza and sent back the first two orders. The pizza wasnt bad. For the price I had much higher expectations. The location and the restaurant are nice but the food isnt.

Twenty of us from a local retirement community dined this evening and had gracious and professional service, excellent food and a thoroughly Enjoyable night out. I was a bit nervous about going, as I had just read the recent negative reviews and older folk tend to be over picky in my opinion. However, allay your fears. All is well and delicious and solicitous.

We used to eat here all time when we lived in Asheville. Now it is a special treat once or twice a year when we drive up from Greenville. Straight talk, it is probably only about $5 more expensive per plate than an Applebees meal. And the food and atmosphere is well worth the small premium. I miss the spin dip and scallop gorgonzola pasta though.

Great Italian restaurant tucked in a plaza. Food was well good and well portioned. Special shout out to their bread; such a small part of the meal but really helped in starting off a great meal. Crust was crisp but not hard while interior was perfectly fluffy. Had Jen as our server and cant honestly remember a better experience in Asheville

I took a detour while passing through Asheville to get a plate of Italian and stopped here based on reviews. Im glad I did. Generous portions of excellent food combined with excellent service make this tastefully appointed Greek and Italian restaurant a real winner! I base high quality on one question; Would you go back? You bet I would!

One of my "always go to" restaurants for several years now. The food is good, the staff is very pleasant, and , wonder of wonders, you can have a conversation with your friends without shouting or feeling you have just survived another eating out experience... Love the food, the whole experience. Thank goodness they still exist!

If you like poor service and horrible food Pomodoros is the place for you. I was shocked to find my salad had no lettuce and my lasagna had no noodles. Wow. It tasted horrible and the waitress would not take it back. What an experience. I wont make that mistake again.

We love Pomodoros and the kids love it too! We eat here every time we come to Asheville. Tonight I had the special and the steak was perfect and the Brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had. Great food, great atmosphere.

Perfect lunch portions, good food and atmosphere, and our server Tim was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I like this location even more than the one in Oteen I usually go to!

Good food. Vacant atmosphere but it could be just the time of day we went, mid-late afternoon. Very stingy with the bread. Too expensive, thankfully we had groupons.
