It is raining like cats and dogs tonight, and I alerted the manager to the fact he is displaying the American flag in this inclement weather. He tells me that its an all weather flag, so I tell him that its against the United States Flag Code, regardless of the material. I understand that he is just doing what hes told. I will give them credit for having properly illuminated. After a 15 month deployment to Iraq, I think Im allowed to be a bit of a stickler about the symbol of the freedoms we enjoy. I simply have the freedom to take my business elsewhere, which I gladly will.

They dont carry most wic products, then once you check out everyone yells out "I have a wic!!!" because the manager has to process it. The register area where you have to put your cart then walk over to the other side is super awkward and if you have kids in the cart you have to take them out so they arent stuck behind the register with some person you dont know. Also, who knows where anything is in that stupid place.

They raised their price to my chicken salad sandwich +$1.29 with no explanation and still insist they have lower prices? I came early this morning after double checking the website to make sure they were open at 6 just to find out they were indeed closed still. Try again food city, you just lost a customer.

Looking for a 2 seater "police car" shopping cart. The manager asks if that is what Im looking for, goes out in the parking lot and asks if she can help one of my 2 year old twins into the cart. Awesome! And to the dude about the flag, gtfoh, thanks for your service but lose the dick attitude

#1 Food City in Chattanooga. Great atmosphere and clean store. Their Pharmacist Kristin cares about each one of her patients and treats them as if They are family. The management team works just as hard as their employees. They jump in and do what needs to be done.

Its getting better. Looks cleaner. Lots of updates. People are very nice! The produce isnt particularly good and Im not a fan of their bakery. Food City prices also DONT seem competitive to me except when its on sale.
