Went in to find it almost exactly like our old beloved Bi-Lo, save for slightly higher prices. We purchased about $40 worth of food and tried to check out. It declined both my debit and my wifes, and my business card which are with a local bank. They blamed the bank and we walked out with no food. We hurriedly rushed to our banks main office to make sure our accounts had not been hacked. Accounts were safe and sound, and our bank had no declines, and could not even see an attempt by Food City to access funds. Called Food City only to find out that our bank "was not in their system yet" Gee...Thanks, Food City for letting me walk around your store for 45 minutes, not allowing me to buy the groceries, and when I called back to let them know there was a problem with their software, they said "They were getting on that issue right away". They wont have to worry about my debit going through their machines anymore, not with Aldi, Publix, Cookes, and Walmart all within 1.5 miles of that store. What a waste of my time.

Selection was broad but lacking some of the more usual specific items. Customer service was terrible ... 1) Pharmacist was unhelpful when asked about services and hours there and seemed disinterested when asked about transferring pharmacy account here from another, national, chain pharmacy; 2) I used a self-checkout lane that flashed off (power interruption?) in the middle of check-out that re-set the register to credit only. I was paying in cash. Customer service representative came over after 5 minutes of me trying to get his attention (he was at a service stand 8 feet away playing with his cell phone) and after explaining the situation to him he said to me, "What is wrong with you, dont you see this is credit only?" This kind of response is incredibly rude and shocking. I and my money will not shop here ever again.

This place has gone downhill ever since they bought out Bi-Lo. I used to shop at Bi-Lo on a regular basis but now I rarely visit Food City. Prices have gone up and selection and variety has gone down. They also got rid of the free Wi-Fi which is frustrating. I get poor cell signal inside the store so I am unable to browse the web while shopping to make more informed choices.

Store is clean. They are in the process of reshelving and reorganizing the store. Not sure why we closed from being BiLo to become FoodCity, and didnt do all of this at the same time. The produce section does look nice, with a good selection, and prices are fair. Baby food selection and pricing is also competative.

Very clean store, pretty well organized. Most employees are very pleasant. They do need more kid friendly buggies. My kids love the "car" buggy so they can drive through the store, but this store only has one, and 90% of the time someone else is using it.

We have two Food Cities and this is my favorite always friendly and helpful great selection of meats and Frozen products that you cant find anywhere else and some of the best produce exotic things that you wouldnt find normally and other grocery stores

Advertised price and price at the register do not always match, this is especially true in the bakery and meat departments. Only one or two registers open. Prices tend to be higher than Publix. I no longer shop here and would not recommend.

Good stock, friendly employees, if they would stop rearrange the store, and mixing there house lables with other name brands I would be happy, there house brands for the most part, do not match up with name brands, and you only save Pennys

Poor service, poor grocery baggers, bought an expensive cut of meat it turned green. Fortunately the manager said he would refund my money...I will give him credit for that. I dont know that I will shop there again. Big disappointment!

Not as nice inside as Publix, however if I dont wanna pay the premium for Publix, this is my second stop. If Kroger was near, I would probably not go here. Selection is OK, and store was decently clean.
