Ive been eating at the Coral Ridge Mall Zombie Burger since it opened. It used to be good, but recently it has taken a nosedive and it isnt pretty. For my latest zombie burger experience I ordered a grilled chicken salad, a half order of loaded fries, and a large coke. First they messed up the order on my grilled chicken salad along with my fries being room temperature. The manager (if you can even call him that) "promptly corrected" my order by making something that appeared to be a dismantled burger on a bed of lettuce while the cooks laughed in the kitchen. He even seemed confused and said "we cant make your salad" after waiting there forever for food. He then gives me nine dollars basically tells me to get lost. I reply with "am I getting any salad?" He goes back to the cooks and they laugh again. I wait another few minutes before a side salad appears without any chicken. I ask "is there any chicken?" to which he goes back to the cooks and says "sorry we cant make the chicken" to which Ive had enough of this fiasco and leave with cold fries and a side salad (I already finished my coke) Avoid this place at all costs, youd have better luck dumpster diving. Im never going back.

I ordered two burgers to go. The Walking Ched and Theyre Coming To Get You Barbara. They said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I waited 26 minutes until it was done. My Walking Ched was cold and the burger patty was so flat I didnt think there was even a burger on my sandwich, and there was also only 7 small pieces of macaronis on the sandwich, and no mayo. And the Theyre Coming To Get You Barbara burger, both sides of the breading were burnt and half black. I tried to eat around the least burnt areas, but ended up throwing the entire thing into the garbage. Disgusting. This is the second bad experience ive had with the Zombie Burger in the Coral Ridge Mall. Ive never had an issue with Des Moines or Iowa Citys.

Saturday 3-18-17 at Lunch time. One Register Open. Line with about 15-20 people waiting. Ridiculous. Terrible compared to the Des moines location. I was also disappointed in the hamburger meat itself. It was VERY thin, and cooked to a crisp. Literally. Like the crisp oatmeal cookies that are supposed to be that way. At least 25% of the patty was cooked to a thin black crisp that was not edible. Not sure why they are cooking them this way. I have always recommended Zombie Burger in Des Moines. Sadly, I cannot recommend this location. Also, I filled out a comment on the corporate website about my experience there that day. I did not receive a response from them. Very disappointing.

Good food. But we were there at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Friday (not even prime lunch or dinner time) and had to wait over a half hour in line, the line was clear through the food court AND they only had 1 cash register open taking orders. There were about 20 people in the kitchen doing nothing AND the general manager was there just standing behind the counter talking, he stated that he was the general manager and then filled some napkins, while watching everyone stand in line, rather than taking orders or helping. 1 person taking orders was clearly not enough.

I tried it for the first time today. I will probably not be back. The experience wasnt awful, but I really dont see what all the hype is about. After my daughter pulled a hair out of my burger, I discovered that I received a single when I paid for a double. It had about a tsp. of ranch on the whole burger, therefore lacking in flavor. The employees were all pleasant and friendly, but not enough to make me pay $27.18 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and one drink again.

This place is amazing. People here are saying its slow, the lines/wait is too long, gross food, whatever. But this place deserves at least 4 stars. Coming from a big city (Portland Oregon) the lines were not long in my opinion. Its a new place, so depending on what time you go, you could have a long line. But its well worth the wait. The food is amazing, really well cooked, high quality and has the best fries Ive ever had. Ever.

Was recommended by a local, but i cannt see what the hype is about. I ordered a #2 28 Days Later. I found it plain and unappealing. The burger lacked salt and was greasy. I dont mind grease on a good burger tho. Ordered the poutine and the toppings were sparce and the dish was barely warm by the time we took a bite. Didnt try a shake. The names and theme are creative, but that doesnt keep patrons coming back.

I really like that they have creative names and toppings for burgers. I also have to give them credit for having veggie burger options. Their fries are good and their shakes are amazing. This place is definitely an indulgence. However, its really busy and the food, while good, was not AS GOOD as the Des Moines location. Still, I love that there is a close location to give into my Zombie Burger craving.

I enjoyed my experience. Yes I did have to wait a bit in line , and then to get my food , but I would not say that it ruind my day like others. I think the food was AMAZING and delicious. The only complaint I have is that it is a lille expensive , and that I dont like how EVERYTHING is separately priced . I think they need a combo basket kind of thing . Keep up the good work and food Zombie !!

If made properly, Zombie Burger is fantastic....Burgers are tasty and well seasoned. Loaded fries are great and so are shakes. But this location is SO SLOW and you wait forever...and then your food is cold!!! Sorry but a 30 min wait for cold food that cost $30 for 2 people is insane. Plus this place Doesnt have full menu like Des Moines location which is frustrating.

I had the Ray Gun Burger. It was pretty tasty. The fried Brussel Sprouts were outstanding and make me feel as though I may be taking in something slightly healthy to offset the gravy heavy Poutine. Overall yummy, but pretty pricey at over $22 for those three items and a Tea.

If you want a delicious burger that doesnt hold back then this is the place. Fried mac and cheese buns, grilled cheese buns. These burgers are not of this world. The fried brussel sprouts are good. Also have great milkshakes!

Great burgers, but french fries are rarely hot. There are no meal options, so it ends up being expensive for what it is. There is always a long line, yet they only have one cashier and they move like sloths.

Good, creative burger combinations that are reasonably faithful to their Des Moines location. Menu was more limited and the line was long since they had just opened, but the burger and shake were worth it.
