HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Instead of the usual dressing with a grilled chicken breast that I have received for years, today I was served a scoop of dressing and no chicken. I assumed it was just a mistake, however when I asked our server, she said that is the way it comes now and the shredded chicken has been added to the dressing. She said that I could ORDER some chicken to add to my meal, and I politely told her that I just wanted the chicken that was supposed to come with my meal. The server argued with me for awhile before saying that I could speak to a manager if I wanted. So the manager came to our table shortly after and tried to explain that there was the same amount of chicken that had been shredded and incorporated into the dressing. He finally asked if he could get me something else to eat and I asked for just a piece of chicken to eat with the dressing. He said no problem and brought me one out soon after. However, when we received our bill, they CHARGED me for the piece of chicken. We could hardly believe it! The entire lunch was very uncomfortable for me. I am always very considerate towards servers and never complain about food even when it is hardly edible. So I was astonished that the server and manager both argued with me so much instead of just correcting the situation as quickly as possible. The party a couple of tables behind us had the same complaint as well. Really bad experience!

My wife and my experience at Legends in Columbia was not a good one. Our server could not even tell us what the different sauce options were for my wings. When our food came out, mine had no sides and I had to ask our server to go and find out what happened to them and get them for me. When I tried the wings they had BBQ sauce on them, not the Teriyaki, Id ordered. I didnt complain because they were good. All the food was good, just no better than any other restaurant in the area. Half way through our meal the server presented us with our check. Wed looked at the dessert menu during the meal and wanted dessert, but the server never even offered it to us. We had to catch her eye and ask her if we could get dessert. The desserts were good, and when the server returned with our check she asked us to fill out a comments card. Awkward! We were filling out the comments card knowing the server would be collecting it. I would have been brutally honest, but my wife was more gracious than me and our server got back a card saying everything was completely average. The reality was that while the food was ok, the service was some of the worst we have ever seen. It may just have been our server, but judging by the other comments here and the people around us, it seems more likely that poor service is the norm at Legends, Columbia, TN. There are better options all around.

Every experience I have at this location just gets worse and worse. The last experience being tonight my first call in togo order and most deff my last after being told my order would take 25 mins. I made the 45 min drive expecting my food to be way past done and waiting only to get there, pay for my food and then be told my order hasnt even been started. 35 mins later I ask how much longer it will be and they repeat my order to me (only it wasnt my order at all) I requested the manager only to be told we apologize we acidentally gave your order to someone else. So basically instead of telling me and asking what my order was in fear that I might get upset and leave they decided to waste my time and play guess this persons order And get it wrong not once but twice not only tha I then came to find out that I was originally rang up for the wrong order. Eventually (1hr & 1/2 later) I got my order and was refunded for a free meal because of their incompatence, And made the 45 min drive back home.

Ive only been to Legends about 3 or 4 times, but Ive always gone with the entire family and everyone has been happy with their meals. Its a traditional, local place, best suited to family dinner on Sunday. They have really good rolls, a nice touch when youre hungry and waiting. Weve found the service to be generally friendly and efficient. Portion sizes seem to range from adequate to generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. My only real criticism would be that the interior is overdue for a redo. A few of the bench seats have broken springs and you feel the seat below you sagging, which is uncomfortable. The old, worn carpet needs to go, ASAP. People who work in the same restaurant every day dont realize that customers can *smell* old carpet. Getting rid of it and replacing it with a hard surface would be the single most cost effective thing they could do to improve their business. Three stars. Would be four if they addressed the old, smelly carpet.

I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. If it was only one time, I would give them another chance. But MAN. We keep giving them another try, hoping theyll finally get it together. Today, we decided we were done. No more chances to redeem themselves. The service is absolutely horrible. Food is almost always wrong. Never any apologies. Never try to make it right. Its like thats just whats normal if you come in here. Get it together, Legends. Read your Google reviews. They all say the same stuff. Fix it before you have to shut your doors permantly.

Visited Legends last night and have to say I will never return nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone else. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. It took an hour and a half before we were finally served (for 2 people). No one seemed the least bit concerned about the delays in service. Our server seemed to disappear on us and when we finally got our food it was cold and the order was wrong. We asked for a to-go box, packed our food and left although we would have been completely justified to just walk out.

They would not take a reservation for our group of 20 in a day in advance and we have been able to every year proir. Horrible service! After waiting for an hour and 15 min while everyone else was seated after us...we spoke to the manager who never even apologized and acted like he could care less. They never even considered putting some tables together or anything. Instead we were told we had to wait for the other big party to leave! We just walked out. They just lost alot of valued customers!

Our family went last night to the Legends of Columbia restaurant for my daughters 15th birthday. The friendly service, and the wonderful food were simply AMAZING!!!! We ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye, Chicken Tenders, Grilled Porkchops, and the Cowboy Burger, and they were all cooked to perfection! My daughter also received a complimentary piece of strawberry cheesecake in honor of her birthday! It was the BEST SERVICE, and the BEST FOOD weve had in a long time!

Ordered lunch at 11:55 had a pick up time of 12:15 well get there to pick up our lunch only to be told to pull over to wait. Well at 12:45 we get our lunch get to our shop less than a half a mile away and its cold as ice. They wont do anything to make it right other than bring it back. Cant do that cause our lunch time is over, and cant leave.. They have lost us as customers that eat there 2 to 3 times a week.
