We decided to go here after seeing the great reviews on here. We arrived while there was only one other customer. The cashier took her order and rang her up just in time for the phone to ring. Suddenly she started arguing with a customer about what kind of lo mein they wanted. It wasnt the fact that she was arguing with a customer that got me irritated though. It was that she was doing it in front of the dining room customers. Another employee noticed she was on the phone and walked to open the other register. She took our order and told us itd be about 10 minutes. The time for the food to come out was close enough to the 10 minute mark, so I have no complaints there. However, I had hoped the order would be correct. We drove all the way home before we realized one of our dishes was wrong (sweet and sour chicken instead of sesame chicken). The sauce to go with the chicken was room temp. We were already home, so we just decided to eat the wrong order and heat the sauce. When we bit into our food it was simply stunning. Stunning, in that, the taste can only be described as being completely absent. I have never had more bland food than what I experienced here. I will not be returning and I will try to discourage friends from trying it. Cleanliness: 2/5 Time: 4/5 Accuracy: 1/5 Taste: 0/5 Attitudes: 0/5 Overall: 1/5 (Horrible)

Got the Beef and Broccoli Lunch Special. More broccoli than meat. And 2x more rice than anything. Also watch host/server drop a sealed container of Egg roll red sauce on floor, at edge of kitchen wall (where I saw them walk over that area several time) and then pick it up and place it on the plate with the egg roll and take it to the table. Gross. Also no comment was made to me before I paid that it was egg roll OR drink. As she was running my card, I asked about a drink, and then she told me. Yes its in small print on menu at counter, but still needs to be said before taking money.

Ordered around 5 pm for 7:30 delivery. It was approximately 5 minutes early. Total was 30.16 and it was more food than two adults and an 8 year old can eat. Two combination plates opted for the lo mein instead of rice and an eggroll w each. Also ordered entree of coconut shrimp. Texture of sauce was thinner than im use too but flavor was excellent. Very large portions of meat vegetables and noodles/rice. Called to confirm around 7 and staff was very friendly. Delivery driver was smiling! Food was hot and not soggy at all! Ill definitely return.

I love them they have great prices and their food is always awesome. Theyre such a small place located in The little area on the north side of town where the Kroger is and I just decided to try them one day and I am so thankful that I did they have sincerely became in my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Columbia.

Unfortunately it was probably some of the worst Chinese take-out Ive ever had. The crab rangoon tasted like stale cream cheese with no crab, the house special soup was flavorless, and three bites of mei fun I managed to choke down was gristly, over spiced, and will probably haunt my tasted buds for eternity.

I may be alone in this, but sitting in a place like New China, listening to the Chinese language and sounds of cutting and cooking, is just good time. The food is always good, always fast. Not once have a gotten sick! Which says volumes for a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant.

Awesome place. They actually deliver to most of Columbia. I was told my order would be here in about 35 minutes, and it showed up in 15. It was piping hot and tasted great. This is now my go to Chinese restaurant. Keep up the great work.
