Horrible horrible horrible! For starters the chef drenched my wife and I in sake although we asked him to stop. I took one bute and could tell the food was undercooked with very little taste, so i asked for it to be sent back. My friends didnt enjoy their food either but knew if they complained it would be a problem just by the managers demeanor and tone. When I got to the front the manager looked at me and told me this is not a soul food place if I want black eyed peas, corn bread and collard greens to go somewhere else. I could not believe they had the audacity to treat their customers in that manner.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! We went for my sons birthday last night and had the absolute WORST cook ever!!! This is our 2nd time to come and wont be back ever again. The cook had a terrible attitude and was no fun for the kids & very rude to the customers, basically you could tell he hated his job. The salad was frozen, soup was gross, veggies had zero taste, the rice was over cooked and upon asking her teriyaki sauce he made it on the grill which still had remaining noodles and actually put it in a container. Ewwww just didnt seem sanitary at all! I do not recommend eating here!

First of all, the sushi was the best sushi Ive ever had, and I used to live in Florida and toured various sushi places and this place still came in first. The hibachi was amazing as well, the food was cooked exactly how I wanted it. The staff and cooks were very respectful and always kept a glass full :)

This place is a true gem.I go here on a weekly basis. My go to is the Dallas Roll, Alaska Roll and Pineapple fried rice. Sushi is so fresh/good and very very reasonably priced. the hibachi chefs/tables are the real deal. Very similar concept to Benihana. This is a must try if you like Japanese.

The staff was Friendly and provided great service, the chefs are extremely entertaining and the food was very delicious. Most of the food is fresh vegetables (non-processed food) and its prepared in front of you, very healthy!! The experience is almost like a dinner theater.

We went to this A1 Japanese Steakhouse last Sunday after church. The atmosphere was great, the wait staff were wonderful, and the food was absolutely wonderful. I would sure recommended this place and will go again. The lunch prices are good too.,

BEST HIBACHI! Our food was amazing and our server was awesome. I wish I remembered his name. This is the first time Ive ever done a review but this place deserves it. Go here and not the chain places!! Also GET A LYCHEE MARTINI.

Chef did not make enough vegetables. Thus we had a few mushrooms and onions. We had a child with us that never got his kids meal of chicken and fries until the hibachi table was done. Poor service never going back

finally a good restaurant to go to in Columbia. And its a Hibachi Grill which is a bonus. The staff is super friendly and the food was great. I had steak and salmon and both were delicious and done correctly.

Great food just be sure you go later than Rush Hour for dinner. It gets a little warm during peak times in the Hibachi side. Sushi is great Hibachi is great. Win-win!
