So I was super excited to finally get to experience this place. I have had several people rave about how great this place is, from the food to the show!! So I picked here for my birthday dinner with friends and fam!! Unfortunately I was totally disappointed!! First impression was bad, the place was very tacky on the inside not well decorated at all, ran down in my eyes! And it was nasty! Dust hanging from the ceiling and electrical outlets black from dirt, and the floor was disgusting!!! Really I was already thinking of walking out as soon as I got there!! Our waiter was not helpful on questions I had and I had to ask him to find out I think he was just going to leave it at I dont know!! Not to mention him and the host came by twice each touching my salad and soup trying to take before I was even done! Really dont touch!! Ask first please!!! Then the food!! It all tasted the same!! Way to salty and like soy sauce only, everything!!! Also my chicken was way over cooked!! Hard even!! The experience of them cooking it in front of me, just not my cup of tea, its hot, like being too close to a campfire where your face burns and the show well not much of one just a short onion volcano thing. I also didnt care that they gave you your food one portion at a time. The price was very very high! If you want the cooking experience, sushi,and sake then except to spend at least $50 for one!!! The only thing that was good was my rainbow sushi roll! Would never go back and would not recommend!! Id give it a zero if I could!!

This is the worst Hibachi Ive been to in 25 years. The manager is rude and disrespectful. I took my 2 kids and met my aunt and her husband and a couple of their friends me us there. We needed seating for 7.. on the check they generously added 20% gratuity to each of our 3 separate checks because the were 7 of us meeting up and wanted to sit together. You are also charged extra for getting fried rice! What hibachi does that? The chef was a joke.. there was no show.. The waitress gave Dr peppers and diet cokes to wrong people, forgot a water for one person so took a water she gave someone else and gave it to the person she forgot and told that person.. well, you already have a drink. I overheard a chef at the other table talking about customers complaints to his guests, completely inappropriate. The food itself tasted just ok. My Aunt said she had to go straight home to the restroom with an upset stomach after we all left. This place is a joke and will not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone ever. Just go anywhere else to eat. Again.. see the photo of the $93 reciept I added.

I will Never order food from them again I got a to go order of chicken,steak and rice. the rice is cooked with eggs and Im highly allergic to eggs and I asked the woman for no eggs, when I pick the food up I asked her was there eggs she told me no!! I did not get to eat any of my food because there was eggs in my food,I was at work with no transportation to take the food back & bout time I got off they would b closed!!! the owner did not want to replace the food or give me any money back,she said there was nothing that she could do for me so they basically robbed me for $25 and the food was very small portions thats was not worth the money that I paid,that is very expensive meal and I felt like I did not get my moneys worth at all!!! Poor customer service at its finest!!! Shouldve stuck with shoguns!!!

I went there for my friends birthday and we were a party of eight. Our server was very rude and we asked him if everything was ok and he said, "no, I havent had a cigarette in 4 hours"! All of us being in the restaurant business at one point in our life understood and obliged. He then came back fifteen minutes with an attitude still, so j asked if he was fine and he said, " no". At this point I ask him to get me another server. He got chelsi and she was wonderful. The mngmnt never cAme to the table and apologized. I called the next morning to speak with the owner and he was even ruder than the server and said people like me are whats wrong with America. I recommend Kohana!!!

Took the wife kids and step dad out to Hananoki, we chose not to do the grill and instead got a table. Took 30 minutes to place our order, another hour to actually get the order... Only to receive the food cold and overcooked, THEN, to get the check and already have a 15% tip factored already. People and Hanonoki, Tips are not mandatory... its the way to show appreciation for a dining experience... Rude wait staff, poor service, overcooked food, too long of a wait... what else could be wrong with this place??? (at least cops didnt surround the place like they did with the other reviewer) Definitely not going back, advise eating elsewhere...

We have lived in Clarksville for almost 5 years and in Nashville for another 5 years- this is the best Japanese restaurant in either area. Think of the best Japanese restaurant you have been to then multiply by 10 times and this is what you get. It is worth the hour and a half round trip just to eat there. Just make sure you get some extra fried rice when you go. Use the brown sauce in moderation, but dip everything in the white sauce- its outstanding. They were smart by opening another location next to Lowes, but they need to be even smarter and open a location in Nashville.

This was by far the best Japanese Steak House we have been to. My wife and I have been to many of these types of places all over the U.S. and Hananokis is our favorite. We went early so there was not wait and were seated promptly. If you are able to get Chef Glenn, he was awesome. He interacted great with our 3 year old daughter and even did a few tricks that we had not seen before. We will for sure be going there for years to come.

The food tasted wonderful and our waiter was on point, he kept our drinks full and checked on us regularly throughout our meal. After arriving home, I realized that Ill never eat here again. My husband and I both experienced severe gastrointestinal issues. The only reason I give them three stars is because of our waiter. There is obviously something wrong with the food to create so much agony after ingesting it.

Granted there is a wait because they sit 8 people to a table and there is a 15% gratuity, other than that it was a great experience for me and my fiancé. I would love to go back again and again. What you have to keep in mind is they have to have 8 people and you sometimes end up sitting with random people. But the at,ops her is great and the food and service is superb. If you go ask for Chef Chen.
