I enjoyed the food and the hibachi chefs presentation was good, but my group felt very pressured to rush through our meal and leave. It was bad enough that I will not be going back to Hokkaido. We werent given sufficient time to finish our soup before the salad arrived, and we were asked if we needed to-go boxes as soon as we began eating. The check was delivered at that time as well. At that point it was pretty obvious that they wanted to turn over the table as quickly as possible. As if we werent feeling rushed already, the busboy was standing by, 2 feet from where we were sitting, ready to clear our table. I would not recommend this restaurant if you enjoy taking your time at dinner, especially considering the price range.

Ive been eating here since 2006 and have consistently had good experiences here. The food is always good and flavorful. The atmosphere is fun and the service is always good. I usually get the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and its fabulous, but my current obsession is the sushi. Spicy shrimp roll and crab angel are my absolute faves! I fully recommend Hokkaido! Our young children love eating here too!

I was pleasantly surprised that on a Friday evening we were seated immediately, and our chef arrived at the grill shortly thereafter. Our chef was entertaining and easy to talk to. The grilled tofu and vegetables was made perfectly. Everyone in our party was pleased with their food as well. They serve big portions so expect a take home box. All in all a great experience and Ill likely be back!

Excellent food, friendly staff, and the hibachi chef was wonderful. Owner walks the restaurant insuring all is working, a very good sign. But most important, in my book, bathrooms were impeccably clean; a sign they care to the small, often overlooked, details. Explains why they are always busy.

Worst place, got absolutely no service, the cook overcooked the steak, the waitress and cook ignored our request and picked favorites at the grill. The group I was with was served last of everyone at the grill while we got there 30 minutes before the rest of the people

Dont order from the table, do the show. Not sure what difference is but food was terrible. Tasted like it was warmed over. We took our daughter there for her birthday because she wanted to go. She was even disappointed with the food.

The parking here is atrocious, but the food is amazing. Thier sushi is made fresh and is delicious, and if you have time, watching your food being cooked in front of you is a treat. The staff are always attentive and friendly as well.

Probably one of the worst sushi experiences of my life. The plate had fish that was chewy as well as some that wreaked of old age and were falling apart. Do not order sushi here!
