As a 26 year old male I like to think I know pizza. Many pizza places will claim to have Neapolitan style pizza only to bring out some monstrosity deep-dish. Ciao Baby is the exception to this rule. With enough ingredients to keep the most picky eater happy, Ciao Baby has risen to not only my favorite pizza joint in Memphis, but my favorite pizza joint period! I grimace at the site of people taking instagram photos of their food at various restaurants. However, I shamefully snap a photo of the glorious pizza in front of me every time I go into Ciao Baby..... If you are having a long day, go to Ciao Baby, grab a Peroni and a two meat pizza, add some jalapenos and enjoy. How about a second location in the midtown area? preferably within walking distance of my house

Went to Ciao Bella for a late lunch. Ordered a cheese calzone. The only thing positive I can say is that it was delivered quickly. But thats probably because the crust was raw on the inside. The calzone itself was small in size and was not a good value. I was kind of bummed until i tasted it, then was glad it was small. The outside of the crust was greasy. The marinara sauce was watery and tasteless. Some of the cheese had come out on the plate and even that was inedible and I ended up spitting it out. I texted my daughter that I had been served a horrible calzone. She asked how anybody could screw it up. I dont know how but they sure did.

First entering, the manager gave us a run down of the place; the pizza stove from volcanic rock of Mount Vesuvius, fresh ingredients including tomatoes just for the store that were farmed in the volcanic ash of the Vesuvius. After a lot of hype, we ordered and got our prosciutto pizza, and the meal lived up to our expectations. Excellent crust, baked to the perfect temp. Everything tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend.

Great Neapolitan style pizza. We had several different pizzas and several orders of wings: all were great. I dont make it out this way very often, but I will stop here for a pie every time I am. Try the margherita style with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Simple, but by far my favorite. The crust could be cooked a little longer to give it a little more break and less chew, but it was fantastic nonetheless.

Great authentic Italian food. We happened upon this place a couple of years ago. This time we went out of our way to visit again. The owner took his time to explain how the pizza is made and greets every guest making sure they receive good service. I like the diversity of the staff. The place is neat and clean. You know everyone is welcome there. I will be back.

This is the REAL DEAL. If you want pizza like we had in Italy without the jet lag, eat here. Prep time is short. Cooking time is lightning fast because of the 900*F oven, and the ingredients are fresh & delicious. Worth every penny. Add the house salad to round out your meal, and take a gamble on the smores pizza for dessert if its available. Delicious!

I eat lunch here about once a month. The food is wonderful and the service is fantastic. The owners are always very friendly. I order the lunch special with a margarita pizza (with sausage added - definitely recommend!) and a Cesar salad. Pretty much some of the best pizza and THE best Cesar salad Ive ever had. Time and time again.

Great experience. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful in making a good selection. When my pizza arrived I was well pleased and would refer anyone to this place who is looking for a good twist on pizza. Did i mention the portion sizes were enough for two people. Job well done Ciao Baby Im a customer for life.

This is probably the pizza in Memphis. Neapolitan (sp?) style pizza. It is cooked in a brick oven so it is nice and crispy. The pizzas are thin crust. The toppings are fresh. You can watch them make your pizza. There is a lot of variety and styles of pizzas. It is a small place though. People are friendly.

This used to be consistent, but the last few times there, its been inconsistent, pizza undercooked which is because they are busy and rush it. Pasta dishes has also been inconsistent, undercooked, smal quantity, everything still tastes good but I think its a cooking problem.

Easily the best place to eat in Collierville. And some of the best pizza you can get in Memphis. Owner is super cool. The four these is my favorite! Its neopolitan pizza which most people arent used to around here, but still amazing!

Best pizza in the area. Owners are there and active in the business. The salads are great as well. This isnt ur typical cheap pizza. They are using higher grade toppings and u can taste the difference.

The $5.99 lunch special is meh. Basic No-meat pizza only. Extra toppings for $$. (One topping pizza and a drink costs $10.09 out the door). Might as well just order regular pizza for a better value.

Really nice people. And the best garlic knots Ive ever had. Full disclosure: Ive never had garlic knots before. But if Id had a bunch from a lot of different places, Id probably rank these the best.

Pizza kissed by the flame. The oven is the real star here. Real wood fired oven manned by the owner. This is a family restaurant that has the whole family working. Great quality food and fun.

We ordered, but they somehow forgot about us. I had to go back to the counter and then the lady there half-assed the pizza so we would get it fast. We wont go back or recommend this place.

The owner of the place lectured me about why I should vote for Donald Trump. Totally inappropriate. Excellent pizza, but next time hold the politics. Id rather just eat my pizza in peace.

Best pizza in town and beyond! The Margherita is as good as in Naples. We moved here from Italy just 3 years ago and this is the only place where we can eat a real Italian pizza!
