This was the worst service I have ever received. The waitress was very, very rude. The food was served incorrectly. We received our appetizer and main course at the same time. She never once came back to check on us; only to give us the check. The buy one get one free beer is only for the same brand and was not explained or on the flyer on their door. Then, upon leaving, the waitress yelled, "bye". We did nothing to deserve this rude service. I will NEVER, EVER go back and plan to tell EVERYBODY I know here in Port Orange and I have lived here over 20 years. Too bad, bc the food was good but the wait staff ruined the entire experience.

I have been to several places like this one and my experience was excellent here. The food quality was excellent. The chef put on an excellent show and paid extra special attention to our Birthday guest of honor. Beyond that, each person in our party was treated with a warm and sincere individual attention that made us all feel like we were special guests attending an event. We felt welcomed to a dinner party rather than eating at a restaurant. My wish if I could have one would be that I would have more experiences like this in other areas of my life. I strongly recommend dining here as the experience is as excellent as the food.

Update: Aug 2017 Went back, had a great meal again with excellent service. I think its now my favorite hibachi in the Port Orange area. The portion sizes still havent changed much, less veggies and rice than other places offer, but tastes much better still. Still very much recommend. ============= We had a very enjoyable meal here recently, staff was great and the food was very fresh. I hesitate on giving 5 stars because the portions were slightly smaller than what Im used to, and while very good I have had better hibachi style meals.

My husband and I eat here.. alot. When the two of us started dating our first date was at a Japanese restaurant in iowa. We made it a tradition to go to the place we had our first date once a month. Since we moved down here Ginza has been the closest weve came to the quality japanese food we love so much (if not better) They recently remodeled and the interior looks amazing!! The prices are amazing for the portions and taste. I highly recommend trying this place out. We always order the hibachi chicken dinner

It is so good I had to stop mid-meal to post! I decided to pay a visit because of the good reviews I saw here and am so happy I did. I eat a lot of sushi, and sashimi, and can most definitely say that it has been a long, long time since I have had fish this fresh. Please ignore that other post about anything being previously frozen; it most certainly is not. Gosh, Im going to be talking about this food to my friends for a week at least...

Beautiful presentation, unique sushi rolls weve never heard of at our places back home - (Hawaii roll is my favorite: Shrimp, avocado and mango with honey wasabi drizzle...mmmmmm.) Most entertaining chef ever, which is refreshing when Japanese steakhouses have overrun many cities and they all seem the same now. We visit from Virginia and usually eat here more than once on vacation - its THAT GOOD! Going there tonight!

Great food, great service, good portions for what youre spending. We went on Wednesdays, 2 for 1 sake, wine and beer! Really my only issue with Ginza, is that from the moment my party sat down, to the moment the chef was done; we were rushed. We hate being rushed, it kind of ruins the whole experience. And for that, I had to give it 4 of 5 stars. Id come back, given the chance.

Best Sushi in Port Orange! Ive tried all the local Sushi restaurants and by far this is the best Sushi. The sushi portions are larger than most in the area. Prices are the cheapest youll find anywhere which is about $5-$6 a roll. We havent sat at the hibachi portion of the restaurant but it looks like a lot of fun.

While the price is a bit high that is to be not unusual for this type of restaurant. There was a lot of food, it tasted great, and the show put on by the chef was good. They have recently expanded to allow more seating and the remodeled decor is awesome. We will definately be returning.

By far THE BEST Japanese Steakhouse experience Ive had in Florida in the last five years. Without a doubt, Ginza puts the others to shame.. Ive eaten at several Japanese Steakhouses in Florida and Ginza wins, hands down. Will definitely return to this little gem.

I have been to Ginza Sushi Port Orange a few times and both times it was great. The sushi was delicious and another time I had the scallop dinner. The scallops were fantastic. I highly recommend Ginza Japanese Steakhouse Port Orange to everyone. Thanks, Joe

Always professional service, great shows, and great food. My family visits almost every other week. They were closed for some time and when they reopened it was like they never closed. Definitely the best Japanese Steakhouse around.

Looks great, but service and food sucked. Not what it used to be. Over priced. Takara is comparable. Ginza used to be better. Oh, and the large sake looked more like a small, and again, over priced.

I have been eating at Ginza for over a year and half now. I have had Kobe Steakhouse, Osaka, and Kyoto, all Orlando area restaurants. Also, Sapparos, and by far Ginza is the best that I have had!!

Dissappointed with the way they process their sashimi. Also their choice of the cheaper and lower grade, white ginger, is kind of a pre-warning sign of the quality of raw fish there.

Recently renovated, one of my favorite places to eat sushi, rolls and sashimi. They also have hibachi, if that is something you enjoy or have not experienced prior.

They just reopened last week. Beautiful inside, amazing food. Horribly slow and incompetent staff. I recommend they shut down for another seven months and re-staff.

Highly disappointed on my last visit. The manager argued with me about extra fried rice that the chef CLERLY forgot. Will find another Japanese steak house.

Food is great and less expensive than other Japanese hibachi grills. The chefs are always entertaining and out of 12 visits, Ive never been disappointed!

Best tasting hibachi restaurant in town. Locally owned and reasonably priced. Better value than all other Japanese Steakhouses in the Daytona area.

I order extra vegetable. They refused to give me extra and said that they did and clearly they did not. They did not take the price off my bill.

Sushi is always good and ready when we get there to pick it up. Hibachi is fun when we are in the mood for a big meal. Really good prices.

Sashimi was evidently previously froze . Yellowtail was still unfreezing when brought to us and octopus was chewy and still frozen
