Good food, good prices, but friendliness and procedural cleanliness needs improvement. The food here tastes great. And, the prices, especially for the area, are even better. My family and I visited this restaurant yesterday. Our meals came quickly and were going great - in fact, better than expected. However, the great ride came to a screeching halt when my wife found a hair in her food halfway thru her meal. No place can be perfect. And, hair, above all things, happens. I get it. But, for some, including my wife, once the theoretical bubble of purity perfection has been burst for a particular restaurant, the visit will never be repeated. On my wifes behalf, the "A" sanitation grade on the door provides no comfort when all you can think about is what you found in your food the last time you ate. While I, personally, would never expect that any restaurant, or even any single meal, to be flawless and pure, I do expect to never be able to find such imperfections. Was it a fluke of probability for my wife to find that hair? Probably (pun intended). But, good, solid procedures for cleanliness should be more than enough to keep detectable impurities so rare that only the most vigilant among inspectors could ever find them. Despite the incident with the hair, the dining area overall was clean, neat, and orderly. My brief glance at the cooking area gave me the same impression. The staff was cordial and polite, but lacked warmth and friendliness. Even an occasional smile would work wonders for their demeanor. In summary, if you are willing to trade so-so cleanliness and lack-luster friendliness for good-tasting food at a good price, this place is well-worth a try. Otherwise, I recommend against venturing a visit, at least until you get some official indication that the problems with procedural cleanliness have been addressed.

The food is of the charts. Ive lived in myrtle beach for almost 12 years and Ive tried most hibachi places and none compare to here. The food is always hot and made to order in minutes and its family owned. I dont come in here as often as I would like but when I do the family always says hi and they remember my order. Im always met with a smile and never leave disappointed. You cant beat the price either especially with the amount of food you get. This is definitely worth a try if you enjoy hibachi.

Gross! I asked for only broccoli in my lo mein, they didnt listen to that and even charged me extra, the fried rice had zero , and I mean ZERO flavor to it and the white sauce was so bland as well. I hoped it would be great because it was so close to my job but it was such a waste of money. If I could return it I would! Plus terrible service, very rude, very short. I tried to tell the cashier to have a nice day and he just looked at me and walked away. I wont ever step foot in this place again.

No matter where I have lived in the world I always wished there was a place that served food I craved more than a steak bowl from this place. Nowhere I have been in this world has compared to their authenticity and quality of their food. Even my friends and family out of town always make it a point to come here and eat when they are in town as often as they can. I will surely miss this place if they ever decided to move on. That would be one sad day.

This is the perfect place if you are craving some japanese food but without the long waits and $14+ per person hibachi meals you find on the main strip (hwy 17). Its more of a take out/quick dine in resturant so its not too fancy however it will fill you up. Free refills. Great sushi. Overall nice spot. Average plate of food $8. Sushi roll $4. College students, young couples, quick meal for the family this is the place for you.

Used to love this place, but will NOT be eating there again. The food is amazing, but the past few times Ive been there I have gotten food poisoning. Went up there tonight to get a refund and the lady was flipping out on me trying to not give me my refund until I threatened to call the police. There is grease all over the walls and cross contamination everywhere. I will be making a phone call to DEHEC tomorrow.

Seriously, awful. Got chicken lo mien and chicken tempura roll. The sushi tasted alright, but something was off, and I dont chance sushi. Then, I couldnt make it through 3 bites of the lo mien before I got a headache. Laying down now and my whole body hurts. This place has been open next to McCallisters and Papa Johns for years, so I figured it wouldnt survive the winters unless it was good... SO WRONG.

We tried the steak bowl, suggested in another review. Its actually pretty great. There is a tiny selection of sushi and the quality was rather mediocre. Very poor selection of beverages too. No hot tea, and they barely managed to find one bottle of water for us. But the steak bowl was worth it, and well probably be back to try other items.

My absolute favorite place in the world. The food is always so good and Ive never once had a complaint. I come here way too often but it is so worth it. Try this place once and I promise you will not want to go anywhere else. Best hibachi around!
