Had a great waitress! However, when I put money in the jukebox the male cook in the back yelled across the restaurant and told me to not play it because he controls it during lunch. There was not a sign or anything saying not to. It was very embarrassing because the other customers heard him so we got our stuff and left. When we left we heard him cussing and telling us to get the f**k out. Very unprofessional and rude. Would not suggest this place if you like music and a good time.

Our first trip to Hilton Head and we stopped in Earles for a couple of drinks. I presented the waitress with a $100 bill (from a vehicle transaction) and asked if she could change it, otherwise Id use my credit card. She gladly took the $100 and everything seemed great. 5 minutes later we were appalled to hear a voice behind the bar speaking loudly "yeah, they use a hundy on their drinks!" Turns out it was the owner of the bar. Everyone at the bar was stunned.

Man behind the counter was UNBELIEVABLY rude, told us the booth we wanted to sit in was reserved after telling us to sit anywhere, and promptly told us we couldnt eat there. When asked why, he said he "wasnt in the mood today", cursed, and told us to leave. Mustve had a bug up his bug because he was ridiculously unreasonable and wouldnt talk like a reasonable human being.

My wife and some of her friends showed up at this restaurant while they were at the beach. We have two adopted children from Asia and this man and his wife were rude and yelled at them telling them to leave for no reason. After we viewed the reviews on this page it became evident that this man and his wife are racists. Stay away!!!

Rude waitress, slow service, long wait, unpleasant atmosphere. Only positive part of the experience was the a/c. AND 20% gratuity already included in the handwritten check that was nearly impossible to read (just like the menu)...

if I could put a negative star I would. poor service, rude servers, terrible, greasy, cold food. smoke filled place. non smoking restaurant? Shut the door if your smoking right out side the door. Almost walked out without paying

Ive never eaten here before and I really dont want to either. Everytime I walk past the outside dining area, it smells like rotten eggs. If it smells that bad on the outside it must smell like straight s*** on the inside.

Small establishment but big on character! Wonderful waitress, great Reuben with shoestring fries. Actually, i got the Rachel which has cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. Not on the menu so ask for it!
