I recommend you take your well-earned money elsewhere. Before ordering, I sat for a while. There were christmas-related items by the bar during summer, and I could see the bartenders silver flats, clearly shoes not meant for work, sitting under the bar top adjacent to me. Then I finally was greeted with a menu (though I had already found my own). The draft beer selection included TWO autumnal varieties in August. A bit early for my taste. I was thankfully able to order a pale ale. My first dish ordered was the lobster salad roll with "cajun" fries. This would only be enjoyed by someone who is happy with flavorless, overcooked lobster slathered with too much mayo and celery. It is served cold on an underwhelming, what I would believe to be store-bought roll. The fries reminded me of my high school cafeteria - the generic frozen variety covered in seasoning that is much too rich in sodium and food coloring. The fries seasoning was all over my lobster roll. The avocado was ridden with brown spots, leading me to believe their ingredients are anything but fresh. I pushed my $13 plate away and waited for someone to notice. After about 5-10 minutes, a bartender off duty and on her way home let me know I could order something new. She was nice, but didnt care to ask what was wrong, just contributed my distaste to a difference in preference. I ordered the grouper wrap, which was miles better in taste and appearance. However, some of the house made chips I ordered alongside where raw. All in all, $20 for a meal that took 75% longer than it should have, and I will never go back. I suggest you save the disappointing experience and never go here, ever. Sub-par service, food and prices.

I have been here twice. First experience: My mother in law was in town and wanted all you can eat crab legs, we went here because this is the only place on the island that have them. They were only $30 (compared to other restaurants with $25 for 1.5lb) and they were delicious! Full of meat and cooked perfectly! (Not the watery cheap kind that are usually all you can eat). My husband got the burger and said it was delicious. Our toddler got a cheese quesodilla, which was made with american cheese, i had never heard of this, and i dont think she liked it very much considering she didnt eat any of it (but she is a toddler). I believe one of the owners came out and conversed with us (very nice bubbly woman) and sweetly interacted with my daughter, she even brought her some fruit, which she loved! Our waitress came off a little cold but she turned around by the end of the night. This was a great experience. Second experience: My mother in law came back in town with 4 other family members in tow and of course we all wanted to come back here! After hyping it up to our family, we arrive and ask the hostess how long the wait will be (we were expecting a wait, it is the busy tourist season after all) She said (rudely) they wouldnt be able to sit us till 8 (it was 5). There were plenty of open tables and we were even WANTING to sit outside, even though it had just rained. but they couldnt accommodate us. So we went to another restaurant. I was highly disappointed. I would like to come back here again, but if I were to encounter the same problem Id likely not return.

New favorite place on the island (Sorry Crazy Crab). This week was my wifes first time visiting the Southeast where I grew up. She is originally from Hungary and we are currently in Philly, so she got her first taste of Southern food and hospitality and was so impressed (and this place is one she names when she gets that happy look in her face talking about the food and people down there). We went for all you can eat crab legs on a Thursday 27 Sept and had 5:30 reservations. The table was ready and waiting when we got there even though we were ten minutes early. Our waitress was Anna, and she was one of the best servers I have ever had. She was super friendly and helpful and always smiling. The salad and crab legs were amazing. It was my wifes first time having them and I am glad it was here because they were perfect. Anna was great and kept cheering us on to eat more. The location is great, easy to get in and out of and park. The restaurant is beautiful. I love the artwork and that there is not too much so it feels more homey than chaotic and busy. I cannot say enough good things about Main Street Cafe & Pub. It was so good that we went back for more on Saturday evening with my parents who live in Bluffton and have never been and they loved it too. This time our waitress was Dawn (or was it Donna? Sorry... I waited too long to review) and she was great, too. I am sure they will be back. Thank you Main Street, Dawn, and Anna! Next time we are down to visit we will be back for sure!

Its Monday night all you can eat crab legs. Restaurant and pub half full at best, - small bar area, so no one is rushing around having to serve millions. Took at least 10 minutes to get waited on, had to go look for waitstaff. Took another 30 plus minutes waiting to get served. Kids meals came out wrong, my fajitas cane out like a partial order and although they advertise all over the Island that happy hour is from 4 to 8pm with half off all appetizers, they fail to tell you its only if you sit in the small bar area or the bar itself. Fajitas were recommended by the waitress and she said everyone comes in for them on Mondays, I was the only one in the place that ordered them as far as I could see. Eventually the waitress came by to see how our meal was after loads of appetizer dishes had been sitting in a pile on the table. I of course was waiting to show her what a small portion of fajitas came out. She agreed they were light. Eventually the manager, I assume, came over & apologized about the majority of the order being incorrect or short, have a 10% discount and then we waited and waited and waited even longer to get our check. Obviously in no hurry to get paid as well. There were only 2 adults and 3 children total in our party. Its too bad one of the owners is from Michigan and allows his restaurant to be run so badly. We would expect more from a Michigan fan. Disappointed all around. SK Kalamazoo, MI

my family and i went to this resturant to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversery..the food was ok the crab legs were awesome but at the end of our night i had a coupon for $10 off a $40 meal for one table but did not include the "all you could eat crab legs" so i asked if we could have 2 checks so that we could use this deal.the waitress(that wasnt so nice) said she would see what she could do.The "manager" short, bold guy came out and said no we could use the coupon without any explanation. So if you have a coupon out there why do you not allow people to use them. The waiting staff was very rude and my husband overherd then laughing and making fun of us!! It was only $10 really? if you dont care much about customer service then you would enjoy this place but if you traveled a long way like we did and would like to enjoy your meal dont eat here!!!
