There seems to be a problem with the food before they change ownership the food was Good, But now when you go there you take a chance some time the food is spoil the fruit is sour my granddaughter fix her a salad and the ham she put on her plate form the salad bar was spoiled. The green tomatoes have so much grease you have to use napkin to remove some of the Grease the bread is hard the chicken be dried out the vegetables are cover in water with no season in them at all they taste like they open the can and warmed them up so we had a conversation witht the lady thats in charge of the place not the owner but the managers about the food being spoiled we told them someone is going to get sick or food poison she listened and she pulled it off the bar and she dismissed her 3 helper thats was in the kitchen working I dont know why she dismissed them but I can tell you what I would have done in the first place they did not know how to cook number two they was back there wrestling and playing and you can see him and then they bring the food and put it on the bar. and now they have a new cook that dont know how to cook I believe they change distributor because the food quality is not the same they seem to be using cheaper food and that makes a big difference in the taste and quality of the food .and then have the nerve to go up on the price, I really dont see how they staying open I hope no one gets sick From eating there, ran into a friend that told me that it have change so Im going to try it again to see .and if there is no changes I am going to let you know about it

Very friendly staff. AWFUL cook. Chicken was DRY. All of the veggies tasted horrible. I dont know how you get green beans to taste so bad...maybe urine ? The ham floated in .... Syphilis sauce ? Botulism broth ? I do not know. If I were a dog, I would still be licking my own butthole to get the taste out of my mouth. The peach cobbler was obviously diahrhea with a few peaches thrown in. The salad bar... Theyre too lazy to cut the lettuce to edible size...FULL sized tomatoes cut into THIRDS ! .... and ,Even though I caught a decent alcohol buzz from the fermented pineapple, I still didnt like the place. I staggered home to my bathroom to ride the liquid highway the rest of the day. The cook needs to be STOPPED. and prosecuted. So does the health inspector who is obviously on the take. An "A" on the door was biggest joke Ive seen this year. DHEC needs to shut this place down before the CDC has to. Worst place in Greenville to eat , other than the sewer.

If I could give it no stars I would! The nastiest place I ever ate at! I honestly would have rather ate at the hospital cafeteria. BLAND, POORLY SEASONED. It is a shame that this place is still open. The vegetables tasted like the tin can they came out of and the chicken was tough and dry. The mash potatoes were soupy and the blueberry "cobbler" looked like a bad version of the runs. Easily the worst restaurant in Greenville!!

We pulled into an empty parking lot, and almost drove away, and we should have. The food was cold, and the only thing enjoyable was the salad, and even then the ranch dressing tasted faintly like fish. Also, none of the food tasted good. The customer service was realy good, but it just wasnt worth it for the price or the taste of the food. After eating the little food i had, I feel queasy, and wouldnt recommend this place.

The customer service has always been phenomenal. The food has ALWAYS been hot hence why the hot food bar is always over a hot steamer to keep it warm smh. Its crazy to read the reviews on here about the food being cold. Maybe they spent more time talkin then eatin Idk? The only cold part about the restaurants food is the salad/fruit bar. As far as her being "affectionate"?

Buffet style includes tea or coffee for a great value $6.50 including tax. I love the salad bar, beef tips with rice, fried fish w/ lemon and tartar sauce, meat loaf, banana pudding, peach cobbler. Basically the whole menu is good. The menu changes daily so figure out what you like and go on that day. Highly recommend. Get full with good food without hurting your wallet.

AWFUL !!! The food was absolutely nasty. We came in with three children two adults . Was charged $50 . The chicken was cold , the chocolate pudding was sour, the meatloaf was way undercooked. The tomatoes where rotten, the staff wasnt friendly at all. And upon leaving the staff asked if we left her a tip !! Worst experience of my life .

The food is awesome. Cheap. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables. I love country fried steak with white gravy. The meat loaf is amazing. Macaroni & cheese is great. cabbage is great - not too salty and cooked just right. Im also a fan of candied yams, fried fish, fried/grilled pork chops, macaroni salad..so goood!

I eat at the Halton Buffet quite frequently. Food is always good and a good value. Try getting this variety of food at one of the cafeterias for this price-includes drink. I just read some of the other reviews and they are just not accurate at all. New management is doing a great job. Come out and support them!

Its been 2 hours ago and Im gonna be sick. Food looked worn out, but Im not generally picky. Food was cold and I should have walked out the minute I walked in. If i had taken the parking lot as an indication, I shouldnt have stoped. I was in a rush and Im pretty positive Im gonna regret it.

Decided to go somewhere new on our 35th Anniversary...restaurant was supposed to close at 8 and we arrived at 710pm only to find doors locked and employees staring at us while chatting it up. After reading the reviews...we were lucky they were "closed"!

I love this place. I went once with a friend and continue to return. I normally do not like buffets but this food is wonderful! Its always hot and fresh! I couldnt forget the amazing value, six dollars and some change...with a drink

Used to be okay — you get what you pay for, I guess. They closed down for a while and the re-opened under new ownership. Food is horrid. Its a wonder they are still in business. I would avoid going there even if the food was free!
