Golden Corral - Restaurant Number: 2564 3950 Wedgewood Lane The Villages, Florida 32162 The night of 12/8/15 at 17:30 we entered one of your restaurants “Golden Corral” in The Villages to enjoy dinner with my family and found many things old and not hot. But we continued to try to eat what was fresh and looked better. More then an hour later we were about to eat dessert but decided to speak with the manager first about there OLD items still untouched and really sick looking. When I spoken to the manager (Mrs. Janie) she was the most rudest person I have ever talked to. I nicely explained that many items has been sitting here since we got here and are old and cold. She said "WHERE" with a bad attitude. So I started to show her the 5 items that were old and has been there for more then an hour untouched. She then called the worker over to correct them and she walked away. Without any apologies or we are sorry for your experience...NOTHING. This was not the way to handle a problem or even more so a customer. So I walked up to one dish to take a "Photo" and she yelled at me to LEAVE HER RESTAURANT. This is so unprofessional in so many ways. So as I walked to get my family she kept yelling the door is here, get out. I said Im getting my family and we are leaving dont worry. So as I got my family as we return to the front to leave she was on the phone with the police for "Taking a photo" of the old food and not leaving (this is what she was telling them). Because she knows that she could have gotten in so much trouble. As we were leaving one of her workers followed us out. We were leaving but before we could get into our truck the police has already showed up. So after talking with the police she said to the police “I want them banned from this restaurant” so if we show up again we (the family) will be charged for trespassing. I have NEVER been to any restaurant where I have had a problem and talked with the manager only to be KICKED OUT and BANNED! I have one photo of the food and the video starting after I noticed she was on the phone with the police giving them a full description of myself and family. This full encounter with this restaurant was so unprofessional and the need for 4 police cars to show up was unnecessary. Me and my family still cant believe how she handled this situation and we feel so disrespected, embarrassed and belittled by this matter. After I got back home I called the restaurant to confirm her name as the manager on duty and the lady I spoken to said “Janie” is the manager. I asked for her last name for my letter to corporate and she hung up on me. I hope everyone that reads this will show your support and not subject your family to a unprofessional and poor ran restaurant. I have contacted corporate and a few other channels and will post an update as I know how this is dealt with by corporate

Went there for Weekend Buffet the grill cook at the the grill decided he doesnt want me to have the sirloin steak I wanted. I went up 4 times and four times he turned me away from one reason or another. But it seemed that there was a deeper issue in regards to me being white and him being a dumbass when I asked him for one of those sirloin steaks for the fourth time he answered to me the steak on the grill was for some other customer this was my fourth attempt and when he said that to me I asked him am I not a customer then he said okay Ill give you a steak now at my fourth attempt at this point Im upset and angry and didnt want anything to do with this guy or anything he touched. I explained to him there will be consequences for his actions. When I complained to management they invited me back for a free meal however I make it a policy not to accept free meals when restaurants screw up. They need to get it right the first time without their apologies. Still get me wrong I like Golden Corrals and this one is no exception but this particular employee earned the store a bad rating.

We ended up bring my service dog and at one point we was trying to get her out of the walkway and get her under the table out of the way well we was accused by a manger that was hawkeyeing us while we got her out of the way and she comes us to table tand accuses us of feeding her and we told her about trying to get the dog out of walkway and she didnt listen to us and had a rude attitude and commaned us to get her out of walkway and not to feed her even after we told her we knew not to feed her as before we was told and that we was trying to gether her out of the way and not feeding her. There was another family next to us that commented on how the manger treated us and said to us that was so rude and unmanger like. To be honest i could have been a higher manger and she didnt know and i would have fired her with how rude she was and make us feel horrible and unsatisfied about our visit but our server was one of the best and sweetest. She even loved our dog and said it made her day and she loved her.

We have eaten breakfast at this Golden Corral many times and the food was always good. The service has always been great. Today we ate there and were terribly disappointed. Not only were we charged more, we were ask "do you need change to leave on the table for the tip?" { I dont like this. We always leave tips - except for this morning}. The omelet and some of the other food was not all that great today and the service was less than satisfactory. When the waitress did not offer a refill on the coffee when his cup was empty, my husband, after waiting for a while, went to the back to ask for the refill and was told that he would have to wait until she finished eating and could get to our table because she was not allowed to pour him another cup of coffee there. She is a wonderful waitress but there were simply not enough waitress to service all the tables when one of them needed to take her brake. Whose fault is that?!! Something is WRONG. Could it be the management?!

Waitresses are nice food is good but I had myself and my 2 year old with me no high chair was offered nor someone to help worth my tray.. after I put our tray down at a table I went back to the front asking for a high chair she said they were by the banquet hall of it want for me going to the restroom on the side I was sitting at I wouldnt have known where the banquet hall was..... I had to walk to the other side of the restaurant to get high chair and back to our table... be more considerate to mothers who have small children and are there alone....
