Eastern Buffet can be best described as a adventure through taste. In all my years of dining here, I have never once been disappointed. This, in my opinion, is the greatest Chinese restaurant on the East Coast. I have traveled far and wide through the coast in my travels and dined exclusively at Chinese buffets. The only close second would be Cathay Pacific in Massachusetts. Let me tell you why this has been dubbed the greatest Chinese buffet. The food is always perfectly cooked, seasoned, and displayed. My usual when approaching the bar is the Lo Mein, Mei Fun, asparagus, fried chicken, and the star of the restaurant, the salmon. The salmons soft and creamy sauce and texture literally melt in your mouth. An explosion of flavor is always the first sign that I am at Eastern. No other place has prepared a salmon quite like this. The Hibachi and sushi bars are also accents that add to the variety of foods served here. I can honestly say that this is the best place to come when you are in need of excellent dining. Do yourself a favor. Experience Eastern.

The food here was absolutely abysmal, the service sucked, and the drink/food were overpriced. Me and my girlfriend paid $3 each for flat fountain drinks (Yes, THREE dollars). The food was cold, expensive, and void of any flavor... Dont get me started on the rice, it tasted like it was sitting uncovered in the fridge and was thrown in the microwave before ending up on our plate. At this point, I was like "hey, lets try the sushi.. this place cant be all bad. I was wrong, walking over to the sushi bar I was met with the resident sushi chef pretending to prepare the sushi (most likely prepackaged). How could anyone confidently serve such terrible food? I really cant think of any redeeming qualities. Dont go here.. Spend the $28 dollars on real Chinese cuisine

We grew up going to this location, which made tonight very disappointing. To start, our table was dirty. We were able to get the sticky off with napkins and water from around our glasses. The offerings were mostly different flavors of the same fried chicken bits and things like macaroni and cheese and hot wings. The lo mein tasted completely like greasy bell pepper. There used to be vegetables in this. The egg rolls were greasy through the cabbage. Paying $32 for two, I expected better. We wont be back.

At one time this was a great place to eat. They had many veggies & meat selections. My wife is a veggie & Im a flex. But today every dish is meat plus squid, octopus, frog legs, etc. I guess thats great for others but not us. The veggie string beans were under cooked, the veggie egg roll was extremely greasy! Thank God for the small Hibachi, only a few veggies as well but saved the day.This may be our last trip! Sad to see a great place go down to nothing. :-(

Its ok. They stare you down if you come right before the lunch hour is over. They make you feel uncomfortable. If you are there for dinner and attempting to enjoy your dinner with your family and are there longer than they want you to be there they make you feel uncomfortable. The food is ok, they have a decent selection but their staff needs to back up and let families enjoy the all you can eat buffet. Otherwise serve plated meals.

My family and I have been going here since 2008. Its pretty darn good for the price and service. Its one of the better buffets in town. The selection of different foods are good. They cut the sushi good and the rice rolls are tasty as well. For a buffet I give it 4 stars for quality and menu items. My son and his best friend love it so I give it a 5 for them. They dont want to eat anywhere else.

My brother and I came here for lunch on a Saturday and we were BERRY satisfied. The food was GOUDA, everything was clean, and the service was GRAPE. Much BUTTER than expected, they SQUASHed my fears from the bad reviews. There isnt MUSHROOM for improvement. I cant think of a single RAISIN you shouldnt come here. Ill be PUDDING them on my list of favorite eateries.

Ive been eating here for years. The food is always good and the sushi always fresh. If not I just simply ask for fresh food. The sushi and the habachi(prepared in front of you buy a cook) is included in the price. Tipping is optional. The price has gone up over the years but so has everything else.

I am surprised by the bad reviews. I know at times every restaurant has a bad night, but I have been going here for at least six years and have seldom been disappointed. Service has always been good. I love their fried fish. Sometimes better to go earlier rather than late.

This was a really good Chineese type buffet. More chicken based than seafood...but good. The fried dumpling seemed "homemade" and really tasty. Real wasabi sause for the sushi...really good sushi definitely a professional sushi chef. I would eat here again.

It mightve been an off-evening, but the sushi was dry (had been out for long time), the overall buffet was NOT fresh, the crew wasnt on their game, we had to pester for service or drinks or the check... it was just *bad*

Overall a pretty good place. One of the better and cleaner Chinese buffets Ive been to. Wider selection, faster service and fantastic food. Considering the price, its worth it.

Servers always nice. Bathroom could be a lot cleaner. Jessica is one of the servers and she always make you feel at home.
