Very bad experience! went to have dinner with 3 other families, my mother wanted a piece of grilled steak so as the guy thats working on the grill is almost done with her steak he grabs the one piece that was more than 3/4 fat with no meat! So my mom asked if he could give her the other piece that actually has meat, but he was giving a very big attitude saying "well youre going to have to just throw it away because im not going to make you any steak if your going to complain. So we tried to let it go were not going to argue about a stupid piece of steak, But then the guy that was cooking our steak decides to start joking about the situation accusing us that we threw food at him and that usually Asian people should just take what we are given and shut up and be happy about it. And I believe the young mans name was "dante" or something like that. I am only including the name so that maybe the management can fix their problems. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Since my mother died in Nov 95 , Thanksgiving has always been rough , missing her , plus only my sister can really cook. She is busy and cant afford the time to cook the whole feast so this has been our answer for the last 4 years since we saw the TV ad. You cannot beat getting EVERYTHING your food heart desires in one meal !! Great food , Great Price , Great staff ... The only thing I would change is allowing for free a tiny to go box for 1 slice of pie to take home..... We use to always eat , talk,clean , watch a movie and then have our dessert with coffee. ( If this was allowed then I could get my carrot cake slice , my dad his Brownie , and my sister her pecan pie slice ) . But I will not take a star away for this reason. 5 stars !! See you next year ! ( and maybe before ) !!

As a mom of teens, I have to find places that are a good value, check! The food here is good. Having been to many a golden corral; I usually dont eat at them because the crowd and the food can all seem to taste the same. This location proved a wonderful surprise! We got there on the weekend for breakfast; which was vast and amazing! Waffles; omelet station; biscuits and gravy; chicken fried steak; steak; really EVERYTHING you can think of and more. We were also there when it went from breakfast to lunch, so we had a few lunch items as well. By far the best golden corral we have been to (and we have gone in Texas, Wa, and Ms).

An absolutely amazing variety and selection of pretty tasty foods at the Golden Corral. The steak was a little bit tough and the fried okra breading was not as crisp as I would have liked, but everything else was very good. The ribs were tasty and excellent. The fried chicken was not cut up in the normal parts but it was VERY good. Lots of great shrimp dishes. Even a selection of Chinese style dishes. The desserts were amazing.

Getting through the pay line is fast. Most of the food tastes good. The wait staff stays on top of removing used plates and keeping ones glass refilled. One rant that I have about all Golden Corrals, at least in Charlotte, is the fact that they add pork to most of their green vegetables, which makes them no longer vegetables. My wife is a vegetarian, and I dont eat pork, so for us, this limits our choices for green veggies.

Been to a couple of golden corrals in Charlotte but stopped going when I saw one of the head cooks use the bathroom while I was in there and I watched him walk out of bathroom and not bother washing his hands, watched him walk through kitchen door and start picking up food. Told my wife were outta here, I told her what I saw which explains why Ive felt sick after eating there, it sure wasnt overeating thats for sure!

Not worth it here. Go to the one in Monroe. The grill man at Matthews couldnt cook a steak anyway but well done. The fried chicken that is always a go to is terrible here they try and create dishes that dont turn out good but ruin the normal ones you are looking for. The wait staff is the only goods thing at this place. They should get new management and new cooks.

More flies than I wanted to deal with. Sat by the window and had to swat flies...3 to be exact (revised 5 on the window sill now). Got roast beef, the potato was cold. Got a desert dish with some crusty food still on it. Somewhat what you expect at these type of cafeteria places. Staff was friendly for the most part. The guys behind the food counters not so much.

We waited for about 5 minutes as the only guests in line as a large group. Employees didnt seem to want to be there except 2 out of the 6 came in contact with. 2 of them were rude and the food was mediocre at best. Went for breakfast but I wouldnt recommend for just about $10 per person.

The food was good. But my concern is about sanitation. The lady from front desk was swiping the floors with a broom next to the food shelf. She did not care about the dust she created while sipping. Otherwise, looks to be ok. But i wont stop by this place anymore.

For a buffet you have to understand is by far the cleanest well maintained. Most buffet large and small are hazardous, Golden Corral by far has put themselves far above the rest in service and order. And sanitation Golden Corral is a step beyond any restaurant.

We call ahead to see what time they served breakfast until we were told one time we drive all the way over only to be told sucks for you no breakfast. When I questioned them they looked at me like I had 3 heads that alone is reason enough not to go back!!!

I was very disappointed about the quality of the food. I was looking forward to eating the new brunch items that are being advetised and they were not available. The breakfast items that were available were cold and tasteless.

The food was ok, however the steak was not cooked professionally was seared with char on the outside and rare on the inside. The salad bar was barely maintained with poorly prepared vegetables. Thank god we wont be back.

Food takes forever to get restocked but when its there its a great meal. The buffet itself can get pretty dirty and hectic with all the chefs yelling at each other but the waitresses are usually friendly and helpful.

Nothing special about the food but its a lot and the place is super clean with a very friendly staff. Its gotten a little pricey compared to other non-buffet chain restaurants but the key is they are not buffets.
