I was disappointed with the way the Manager, Debbie, spoke to me upon a legitimate complaint. She was overly rude, refused to listen to me and kept repeating the same chant. My table was cleared before I was finished eating and her chant was you want me to bring you out more food. Then another waitress said if I was to get up and go to the bathroom I should tell my wait person. Like being in grade school. I paid my check then left. After thinking of how I was treated I went back to get the owner information. Debbie was at the register and in a rude manner told me the owners number and then said "I need you to leave." Needless to say I will never go back to this restaurant or any of the their other establishments. I called the manager the next day and he said he would talk with Debbie and call me back after lunch. He never called me back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My husband and I made the trip from Gilbert, SC to Clinton to eat at the Blue Ocean. I have had the privilege of eating at the Blue Ocean before. However, this was my husbands experience. Our waiter, Joey, was delightful. He checked on us numerous times during the meal. We never had to ask for anything because he did an outstanding job taking care of our needs. The food was incredible...even better than I remember... the food was piping hot and plentiful. If you havent tried the Blue Ocean, then add it to your list of restaurants to try.

Good service,but horrible seafood. Tuna steaks were butterflied and cooked to death. They were so dryy husband put ketchup ont it just to get it down. Crabcakes were definitely frozen and equally as bad as the tuna. Baked potatoes was cold and old. The hush puppies and bloomin onion were decent. Nice selection of deserts but the food was so bad we were afraid to try them. This place get two thumbs down from me. I cant magine why there are 4 locations of this disgusting food.

Put in order at the to go counter,cashier did not know menu,i asked for gravy but after plate paid for cashier tell me they don t have gravy for rice so i asked for a baked patato instead she came back with it and threw it on counter.no butter no sour cream no fork to eat with & said she gave me the patato free.How when i paid for my meal...asked for a refund due to rude service they said they could only give me $2 back cause i had ate salad that came with meal.

Parking lot was almost full but there are a tremendous number of tables inside so almost no wait. ALL the staff, hostess, server, cashier were beyond friendly, they act as if they enjoy their jobs and it shows. Food was excellent, Im from Florida and used to great seafood... this was great and portions were HUGE. We stop now whenever passing by on I-26. This cant be beat for the quality, price and friendliness... right on the Interstate so easy on and off.

How can you fix Salmon BAD, just ask these folks, My grilled Samlon had Scales, bones and was over cooked, the Shrimp still had their CRAP Veins in them, when I told the blonde headed BIMBO up front all she could do was laugh, SO THIS IS FUNNY HUH??? This means you dont care, your prep people dont care and your cooks evidently dont CARE!!!. I expect to be treated like someone if I am paying this type of money for FOOD. NOT CRAP!!! Gina

I get hungry for seafood and then order it here in this small community but it is never good. Too greasy like the grease isnt hot enough and it just soaks into the food. Use to be good years ago but something happened and downhill since then. Also young woman that works the take out desk is rude...she talks over you when you call in the order then is snippy when you come to get it. Since she was snippy I was nippy with the tippy.

Loved it!!! We had an outstanding waiter named Isaac. He truly made everything perfect. I have never had exceptional service like that in ANY restaurant and this was low end on food price, a little over $60 for our gamily of 3. Food was great and we were in and out of there in 35 minutes. There hush puppies were awsome. They had the sweet butter and ciniminon on the table to add extra flavor on top. This is how it is done!

I had the fried delight plus scallops and clam chowder. All of the food was cooked perfectly, I travel a lot and seafood restaurants are my favorite, this one is top notch and the prices are better than most , a lot of food for the money and my server,Morgan, was a real sweetheart, very attentive , knowledgeable , very friendly. When I go back , and I will , I will request her section ! Definitely worth the trip ☺

As always it was a great visit. My granddaughter had surgery in Charleston at MUSC and wanted seafood but after eating out had dad go get chick filet before going to sleep knowing surgery was in the morning with no food for that day. Her request on returning to doctor with a good report was stopping at Blue Ocean for beter and more seafood. She was happy with their serving. We stop any time we are close.

Very friendly staff. But I personally would not recommend the snow crab to pricey for what little crab meat there is . Blooming onion looks to appeared to be smacked with a center block . ( hypothetically speaking) . Even tho I give two stars I would give it another try on a different menu selection before I make my final decision on continuing to come back as a customer.

I recently came to Blue Ocean to pick up my order & the cashier ignored me and waited on another customer (white woman). Im a black man and I thought that racism has "died down", but I was wrong. I was there 1st , but I guess I wasnt IMPORTANT!!!! Blue Ocean has lost my business and I will never go back there again!!!!

Impressive menu for a traditional southern seafood place. Large meeting area for groups. We had great servers and excellent food. No one in our group left disappointed, but many carried take-out boxes home because the servings were large. Cant wait to come back here!

For starters, best hush puppies ever! Iced tea, sweet tea, half n half is always perfect! Ive only had seafood here n whether fried or broiled, its perfection! Service is prompt n friendly! Prices cannot be beat! Hands down the best seafood restaurant in my opinion.

The value was good,the service was good. I thought the food was bland. I thought they should have served some melted garlic butter with the broiled seafood. Salt and pepper just wasnt enough. If they tweeked thier menu,it would be a great place to eat.

First time ever coming here and will definitely be back. They have a great selection of food and offers a pretty good serving size. The waitress came a little too often to where it seemed overbearing but otherwise pretty decent spot.
