Went to this restaurant yesterday and ordered two chicken Pad Thai entrees. Pad Thai had such a terrible stench, we took one bite each, paid and left. It was so acrid that my fiance commented that the waitress must have a pet dog, before we realized what the source was. I am only sorry that we didnt let them know why we left, they seemed very nice and concerned however we didnt want to cause a scene in front of other customers in the very quiet atmosphere. I thought maybe this was a type of sauce that we are not familiar with (it tasted terribly sweet) although my sister who is a chef assures me that this odor is unusual. No disrespect to SR, maybe one of you Charleston foodies can help them figure out the mystery smell.

We ordered through Quick Foxes delivery (which I like), but the food from Spring Roll was horrible. We ordered 2 hibachi meals, both had small dried bits of meat (steak and chicken) and the veggies tasted and looked steamed; nothing was seared, as you would expect with hibachi style food. I also ordered the fresh spring rolls. Both had burst through the rice paper so they could no longer be eaten as rolls. The sushi was good (I got the Toyko Roll) and so was the ginger dressing for the salad, but that was it. We thought the white sauce was too sweet and the coconut rice was flavorless. We will definitely not be ordering from them again.

I got the hibachi chicken and steak. It was dry . No type of taste to the rice. The broccoli, steak, and chicken mix was salty. REALLY SALTY. So I called to take it back, they told me bring it. Went back 2 hours later spoke with another lady she told me "we cant do that you had this food since earlier". But She eventually gave me the same meal. It was still dry and tasteless. I would not recommend this to anybody. Bad customer service and the business smells funny

nasty food made by lazy cook. what a waste of money. the sauce that my friend got was spoiled and smelled like sour milk. pad thai was orange in color and tasted sour. ordered tempura and for the price I paid I only got two shrimp that is overly battered with a bunch of battered veges. we all got sick in our stomach. pls make authentic Asian food not crappy nasty food, otherwise, you need to close down.

Really good Singapore Mei Fun, but I just tried the chicken broccoli and it was honestly the worst I have ever had. Havent tried anything else on the menu except the spring roll that came with my food, which ironically, was underdone and had an unpleasant taste. Would recommend take-out because the inside has a really strange odor, not always the same odor, but always unpleasant.

I ordered hibachi shrimp for carry out. The food was brought out to me incredibly fast, which I found a little suspicious. The rice was good, but the bowl of veggies, shrimp, and sauce was a whole other matter. The watery juice leaked through the carry out bag, and was bland. WORST....HIBACHI.....EVEEERRRR!!! I eat ALOT of hibachi and I have never had it in a broth! Horrible....and the fried rice is NOT fried rice! When I called after it had been delivered to tell them they accidentally gave me white rice, I was told that this was how the rice came..with NOTHING in it! Save your money and tastebuds for some real hibachi!

try their shrimp tempura (you get a deal for sushi if you go during lunch)! For Chinese food, I recommend "he fen (choose the chicken one!)" (which is thin rice noodles) and "he fen" (wide rice noodles), their flavors are different. Also, if you are getting sushi, dont forget to get some eel sauce!

The food is supreme. I have eaten at dozens of chinese restaurants & none have better food than here. The service isnt as great but their prices and great food make up for that. Whenever I come to Charleston, I make it a point to eat here.

Bad customer service, food is TASTELESS and extremely watery .. delivery is quick but the driver is rude. I tried a variety of things on the menu from Sesame Chicken to the sushi rolls and its all disgusting!. . DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This restaurant has great lunch specials. A lot of food for under $8, and its usually very good. Their hibachi styler menu is very yummy, and for a fraction of what you would pay at a hibachi restaurant.

Nice, friendly atmosphere. $4 sake thats $2 at happy hour. Fresh fish and generous portions. Hibachi is light/not greasy. The shrimp spring rolls were tasty and included large, roll-sized shrimp in each.
